Amazing food, we got the Smokey burger and Korean chicken fries and it was really tasty

I was left disappointed when I planned to come here & they were closed. It was only 4pm Saturday & they had closed sign up! (Google said they were open till 9pm). Please be warned if you plan to come here... they can randomly close during their opening hours. It's a shame as the food looks lovely... I did end up going to street pizza a few doors down and wasn't disappointed.

If you like burgers you owe it to yourself to visit this phenomenal restaurant, the food is always delicious, the service is always fast and friendly and the restaurant decor itself is simple yet elegant. Even if you aren’t a burger fan they have a selection of absolutely divine loaded fries, along with a selection of sides which are equally as delicious. I visit castle burgers maybe once a month and have been doing so since not long after they opened and not only have I never been disappointed, but every time I visit it’s better than the last. Unfortunately they’re closed for renovation at the moment but the second they’re open again I’m going to be straight there.

Ordered a takeaway from here the burgers were really good quality. Reminded me a little bit of five guys. Very filling. The chips weren’t too great tasted a bit overdone and a bit of a cardboard texture. Other than though our food was ready for collection quite quick!

Easily the best takeaway burger for miles around! Staff are always really helpful with allergies or little tweaks to orders. Online ordering system is great. Would recommend! Please come to Ruthin next!

We really enjoyed our food here. The burgers were of a good quality and the portions were really fair. The only downside is that the toilets are public toilets about 50 yards away. It’s not a huge problem overall. It’s worth coming here for individual service, nice food and a break from the tourist hell in other places locally!

Me and my partner aren't from the area and thought the menu looked good so decided to have the double chicken burger with blue cheese and the hallumi burger with chilli jam. The meal was lovely. Oh and its a dog friendly, need I say more 😍

Just ordered the Smokey cowboy burger at £9.95 thought it was a bit steep but wow was it worth it! Brioche bread with 3 top quality beef burgers, each layered with thick bacon and cheese topped with lettuce, tomatoes and crispy onions and bbq sauce, ordered without the tomato or pickle. I’m so full it was delicious.

The food here is always delicious, been about 4 times with the boyfriend now and the food has always been amazing. I highly recommend the crispy Korean fries and the chicken fillet bites

Oh my days, not from the area -‘d had the honest burger and it was exactly that! Honest! 5/5 or 10/10! Amazing! Buff Wings look like t-Rex arms, loaded fries-massive portion. Well priced but worth every penny!

Very reasonably priced, one of the best burgers we’ve had. We ordered the cheeseburger and a naughty Italian burger and they were both so so so good! Staff were also really lovely.

Ate here lots of times throughout the season after work and the food has always been excellent. Phone up ten minutes in advance and it's ready for me to take away.

Ordered online, website stated 20 mins for collection. I got to the restaurant and the lady said it wasn’t ready, no problem but no indication of how long it would be. A group walked in and she advised them it would be 40-60 minutes, they left. It took almost an hour from ordering to getting my food. In the 40 minutes I was sat waiting, 9 burgers came out of the kitchen. Can they only make 1 burger at a time? Awful service. Will definitely think twice before going again.

Fantastic food at a reasonable price and super quick! Gnali the owner was very friendly and helpful. The Crispy Korean Chicken Burger was delicious and tasted so fresh - hands-down the best Korean Chicken Burger I’ve ever had outside Korea (and my adult son’s homemade). The wings were delicious tasted like America - they were large! My hubby had the Lamb Burger and it had a lovely flavour. The Loaded Fries looked wonderful - wish I had room to try them. Small dining room but well done and very rustic. We will definitely come off the beaten path again to visit this charming town of Llangollen and eat at Castle Burger!!

A story story… I went into Castle burger and was greeted so politely, i ordered the “Honest Burger” and can say it did not disappoint neither did the skin on fries…. Cooked to perfection and HOT not spicy just cooked fresh… 10/10 If your near go and give it a go… I certainly will be returning 🤙🏻

We dived in here late one evening after a long day spent hiking in the hills. The Vege burger and Swiss Burger were excellent - and extremely filling! You can pay online (they send you a payment link to your phone). Otherwise its cash. The owner is very friendly and we liked the cosy atmosphere. Fast service too. A great way to end the day.

A must visit when in llangollen if you fancy a fresh, good quality burger, plenty of variety, and very reasonably priced

My partner and I visited Castle Burger for a bite to eat during a day out in Llan. The food was amazing. We had a burger each and chips between us. I could honestly not fault the food or the service. They were super busy so we were expecting a lengthy wait but we had our food within 15 minutes of ordering. Everything was fresh and the burgers are made from locally sourced beef. We will definitely be visiting next time we are in Llan!

A charming little restaurant/takeaway. We headed for here because it was a great burger we wanted and we weren’t disappointed. A small shop with seating that is warm and cosy. The service was impeccable and the owner really friendly and with plenty of local knowledge to share. The burgers are locally produced. Definitely somewhere I would head back to if we were returning to the area.

My wife and I visit every weekend for our takeaway treat. The food never disappoints. The staff are amazing and can’t do enough to make sure their customers are happy. Highly recommended!

After returning from a canal walk to Chirk we noticed castle burger,First ever visit and we both enjoyed our burgers and fries.Good size portions and friendly service.Best burgers we have had in a while and prices are OK.well worth the visit

Quite good burgers with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. All the burgers had 2x pattys except the kids which was good for me but I could imagine others may prefer just a single patty. Also they currently only accept cash which turned a few people away. Prob should sort that out.

Wonderful to see an inventive menu with lots of taste choices and shows real initiative to experiment with customers taste buds. The lamb and mint burger was win and the honest burgers were excellent apart from a burnt bun, but can be forgiven. The rosemary chips were a real winner and the family dived into the loaded fries. The real cherry on top was the homemade sauces, the ketchup, mayo and jam were delicious. Slight delay with the meal prep but it was Saturday. Go try it 😝

Good food(although lacking in seasoning), service terrible ( miserable and coughing waiter) extra £1.50 ! for sauces, no toilets ( I thought that was a legal requirement). Music off an iPhone. Think as a takeaway would be okay or a burger van but not a restaurant.

Friendly atmosphere, incredible food at half the price of everywhere else and twice the quality. We were blown away by the fact they make their own Mayo (secret recipe!!)

We normally don't buy take-away burgers as they usually disappoint. That is not the case with Castle Burgers. The burgers were nothing short of amazing. Both the cheese burgers and lamb burgers. The staff (owners?) were delightfully cheerful and helpful, so a few days later we went back for more. If you're in the mood for a burger, this place will not disappoint. Well worth a visit!

Popped in here as I have passed a few times and thought I would like to try it out , the staff were very welcoming , I had the Lebanese burger which was made of lamb and also grilled halloumi , skin on fries , and a glass of house red , I really enjoyed everything as it was all very fresh and tasty , and the atmosphere was lovely , all the other food that was served looked great as well and everybody was very happy ! Also that are doggy friendly and brought some treats ! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back

Really friendly staff, quick service and fab food. Would come again! We would recommend the crispy Korean fries, lamb burger and the buttermilk chicken burger! We were with two vegetarian friends and there were good options for them that they really enjoyed with a local lager!

Ate in here the other night. Food was good, both enjoyed our burgers and the portion of fries was big enough to split between the two of us without feeling like we didn't have enough to eat. Struck most of all by the good value - had expected this to cost a few pounds more as we'd ordered more than usual, but in fact it only cost the same as we'd be used to paying, for less, in some of our more usual places. In the event that we're in Llangollen again I reckon we'd eat here again without hesitation.

Just WOW. Burgers were amazing. I had the cheeseburger and my son had the pulled pork. Both big, fat and juicy. Fries were crispy and just the right amount of dry. Highly recommended.

Good quality burgers that hit the spot. All made using local produce at a decent price. They couldn’t do enough to help.

Stopped in with a family of 4, picked a few burgers and chips off the menu. Place smelt of fresh popcorn and we were given a small bowl of fresh popcorn to snack on while waiting. All burgers were great, as were the chips. Staff understood that young kids are messy, provided copious serviettes to clean faces/fingers. Only consideration is it’s cash only, however close by ATM’s make it trivial.

I went in and asked what food they could do gluten free and the guy who served us said they could make anything gluten free! I ordered a pulled pork burger with truffle fries and it was delicious! The guy that served us was lovely...

We live in Llangollen and by far this is the best place to eat in town. I would recommend to anybody. The owner (Angel) is just such a friendly and kind person.

Absolutely lovely food. Some of the best BBQ chicken wings we've had and the Korean loaded fries were delicious. Staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Wrexham lager was a new experience too. Lovely little restaurant to find

Beautiful little restaurant in the heart of Llangollen. One of the nicest burgers I have ever had without a doubt. Staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Had fresh complimentary popcorn cooked for us before our food.

I had the smoky burger, nice size. Definitely needs a side if you want to be filled. I only gave it a 4 overall because I thought the onion rings were lacking. They were nice and crispy, but that was only because they were slightly overfried. It's good for the prices they are charging. If I'm in the area, I wouldn't be opposed to going again. They have a good variety of burgers to try.

One of the best burgers in the world! Originally ordered buffalo wings, but after ordering the chefs had ran out, so the guy offered us a Swiss burger and wow. Just incredible. Still need to try the wings though so I’ll be back tomorrow. Nice...

This is a place with, arguably, the best burgers in this part of UK! I’ve got myself a chicken burger and it was MINDBLOWING!! The meat was tender and delicious! Fresh, vegetable and sauces literally created a masterpiece of a burger, and I really am not a burger person myself. Usually burgers are the last thing on my mind when I think of a quick foods out but I will be coming back and I want try every single thing they have on the menu and I highly recommend this to everyone else, too! In addition to fantastic food of amazing quality, you can count on the hospitality and kindness - as soon as you walk into the restaurant it’s there and it’s unbeatable! Ps. We visited Castle Burger 🍔 on our lovely day out in Llangollen. We have never visited this eatery before, but we fancied a gourmet burger 🍔 for our lunch. This establishment is small, although well appointed inside. The owner told us that the place had just changed management and only reopened recently. We ordered a double cheese 🧀 burger 🍔 and chickpeas burger 🍔 which was surprisingly very tasty. The burgers are big and very reasonable priced as the standard of food is very good. We all enjoyed our burgers 🍔 . The staff are really friendly and the food was cooked freshly. If you're in Llangollen and fancy a really tasty burger, then pop into Castle Burger you won't be disappointed 😋

As always, with Angel and his team, the food is Spectacular! Called, today, and had the Pulled BBQ Pork Burger, and the Buffalo Chicken Wings. Everything was cooked to perfection. Not that I could eat it all, because Gracie, my Spoodle had to give it her Review, which would be !)+ on the Bark Register, Unfortunately, I can only give 5 Stars, though they deserve 10+

Wow! What a place! Group of 7 visited Castle Burgers Llangollen for dinner. All food came so quick and was so delicious! The owner mentioned they have delivery of fresh products every day and everything is made at the same day,so nothing is frozen. And of course we had great local Welsh beer with our burgers. Definitely worth visiting!

This place used to be good but it has changed to very poor quality. Didn't evan finish my burger.
