Lost Sheep in Gwynedd

We all enjoyed a great meal here tonight, service was friendly, attentive and natural. Food! Fantastic! We will be back, Ribs, Steaks, onion rings…. We loved it. Oh… and the Welsh Mule was definitely worth a try!

Fabulous food and atmosphere. The ribs are amazing , as is the welsh wagu - need to order ahead- you will not be disappointed ! staff and service, fast and friendly .. a place to return to each holiday on the Llyn!

Another lovely meal at Lost Sheep - managed to get in to steak night on Tuesday night - superb value for superb food. Lovely steaks, corn on cob was fab and the starter cauliflower wings - delicious. See you when we are back in May.

Don't bother. After 50 minutes they remembered they didn't have the ribs I ordered. After an hour and 10 minutes I got a burger that McDonald's would have been ashamed of. Remarkably, it took an hour and ten minutes to simultaneously burn the chips and serve them cold. Thattakes some doing but they managed it. I wanted to leave after an hour of no food but the family persuaded me to stay. Sad to say, it was really busy but this restaurant has no redeeming features. Try somewhere else, McDonald's does much better food.

This spot is great for a meal out in Abersoch or as a destination place to eat… we went on a Tuesday afternoon and took advantage of the steak offer that they have on Tuesdays. My wife and I both had the fillet steak with chips and salad, I had the peppercorn sauce and my wife the kick ass gravy which we’re both amazing.. I like my steak rare and my wife medium/rare both were cooked to perfection and just melted in the mouth and packed full of flavour…. We would go as far to say that it is the best steak we’ve had, period. And we’ve eaten in many a steak place, having anything from a sirloin, fillet, chateaubriand and porterhouse cuts. The ambiance is very relaxed and the service is excellent… we would strongly recommend a visit. We will be back to try the other things on the menu from ribs to wings and Cajun salmon

Best steak in Abersoch, husband loved it that much he ordered it twice. Great staff and a fab atmosphere - 100% recommend ⭐️

We stopped by here after a lovely walk and we had such a warm lovely welcome on arrival. The menu looked amazing. We both decided on a steak each with peppercorn sauce. Absolutely amazing and so tasty. Highly recommend 5*****

We went to The Lost Sheep for breakfast I had the skinny Full English everything was cooked to persons so tasty I couldn’t eat it all so the big breakfast would be amazing for the big eaters , we enjoyed it so much we returned for dinner and cannot fault the steaks they also were cooked to perfection the atmosphere is great , and lovely wine will definitely be back soon

Best steak you could ask in the area and more! Came tonight for the Steak Night and it was excellent as always! The same tasty quality steaks, now Tuesday to Saturday. Don’t miss on the special deal nights. I can’t describe how goods it’s everything, from the steak to the house cut chips and the proper peppercorn sauce. The staff as always were great! Lovely place for a steak a beer or a brunch. Would definitely recommend :)

We finally got to eat at Lost Sheep, and I have to say it didn’t disappoint. They were fully booked last time we were in Abersoch and getting a booking for 2 adults and 5 kids is never easy, however this time we booked early and had the best food we’ve had in a while. The steaks were melt in the mouth, the ribs were next level, wings were good with some kick ass gravy and we topped it off with some tasty cocktails. We couldn’t have had a better night. All the staff were on the ball with service. Great night, thank you all again. I think this place should get 6 ⭐️.

We were really excited to finally try the Lost Sheep and were severely disappointed. We booked in advance and weren’t warned of anything in advance. When we got there we ordered drinks and we’re given menus and again, no warning of anything. My mum ordered the salmon only to be told they had run out (which should have been communicated straight away). She then changed to a burger and we thought all was fine only for the waitress to come back and tell us they’d completely run out of all burgers because they were about to shut for 13 days. This was not the waitress’ fault and she was lovely about it but that is seriously poor from the Lost Sheep and had we known we never would have booked. They (rightly so) didn’t make us pay for drinks and we left and dined elsewhere; thank goodness for St Tudwells!

Excellent food, excellent service! Finally a place where portions are massive and the price is excellent! A horrible trend in modern life is more money for less of what you want but this place bucks that trend and focuses on brilliant food and great service. Would highly recommend the big boy platter to get a taste of everything! Will absolutely be returning when we come back to Abersoch next year!

What can I say, I my opinion Lost Sheep is the best restaurant in Abersoch! We eat here as often as we can while we are in Abersoch during the summer. The fillet steak is one of the best I've have anywhere, all the food is produced to the highest standard and consistently excellent. Love the vibe, really relaxed atmosphere, staff are fantastic, helpful, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Look forwarding to being back there next year!

Fantastic little restaurant. Very consistent food. Not a broad menu. No parking so better to walk (if you can walk in off the beach even better). If you like steak, wings and RIBS it one of the best places in the country. Lovely people. Cracking...

My go to place whenever I’m in abersoch. Led and the team are exceptional and food is immense. Top quality cuts of meats and the chips are to die for. Make sure you book in advance, it gets booked up quickly in the busy periods....
