The best restaurants serving American food in Scotland

Ate at this restaurant on a quite Friday afternoon with colleagues from work. Restaurant was lovely with great views of the golf course. Food was really nice and very good portions but maybe a little expensive for myself. Waiting staff were very poor… they didn’t know about gluten free food or drinks, they dropped the onion rings on the table and totally forgot one of the orders which we they had come back and take after we highlighted it. Staff let the place down.

Tuve una hamburguesa que era muy bueno, luego se arriesgaron y tuvieron algo que no volvería a tener, pero solo debido a la preferencia personal, estoy seguro de que a otras personas les hubiera encantado. Camarero en una camiseta de leopardo definitivamente era muy amable y eficiente, le gustó la forma en que eran a los clientes. C. £ 50 por dos tuberías, un par de bebidas y un desierto que no parecía ridículo. Sobre todo si en la zona estaría feliz de volver a aparecer. Junto a la calle Lukes, si hay para algún concierto, etc.

I am a nanny of two wee ones that live around the corner from Bruno's. We visited often when the children were off school during term breaks. I am an American immigrate to Scotland, and often reminesce about real American style breakfasts. The children wanted to experience the french toasts, sausages, pancakes and milk shakes that I grew up with at their age. We LOVED visiting Bruno's!!! The staff were always super friendly and chatty with us. The lady manager was sweet and made the children feel special. The food was delicious! We enjoyed the 50's style decor very much, with the vintage toys and red vinyl carseat booths. The kids enjoyed watching The Wizard of Oz on the big screen telly! What a shame it has closed down We are all very sad to see you go. Good luck in whatever future business you may aspire to. We hope you come back and open up something equally as cool as Bruno's in our neighbourhood again! ❤❤❤

Great food, great price and fantastic customer service. We shall be back! had a great lunch for £5.00 and that was to course...best nan bread ever too!

Took an hour to be served our food, and when we did get it, chips were over cooked, the cajun chicken was so spicy we couldn't eat it, had very little chicken in it, mostly was sauce, was as hot as a madras, kids burger bun was burnt, not good. Won't be coming back.

Just ordered a summer salad. Was surprised at first that it was just a load of lettuce and a piece of chicken on top. I ate half of the chicken and then realised it looked pink. It was RAW in the middle. Unforgivable 🙄🙄

¡Por favor, no pierdas el tiempo! Tenía una reserva. Llegué a tiempo. La mesa no estaba lista. Nos sentamos a esperar “unos instantes” sin menú dado ni pedidos de bebidas tomados, eso está bien supongo. 25 minutos después fuimos al bar y preguntamos qué estaba pasando. “Sus mesas todavía no están listas” (mientras que había mesas libres y la gente se sienta después de que llegamos) . Entonces nos dijeron que buscáramos una mesa y terminarán en un momento. Encontramos uno arriba. ¡Genial que finalmente podamos romper! Me pidieron que hiciera nuestras bebidas y pedido de comida al mismo tiempo y dijeron que solo están tratando de despejar las mesas, así que volveré por su pedido de comida... ¿de acuerdo? Comida pedida a las 7: 45 pm. Las bebidas llegaron muy rápido. Bastante plana, pero llegó. El reloj va tick tick tick . . 8 : 35 pm y todavía no hay comida. Servicio impactantemente horrible, ambiente terrible no volverá! ****Pruebe Maggies parrilla***** cálida bienvenida, sentado rápidamente y buena comida. : )

Second visit and not disappointed . If you never visited this eatery then you are missing a treat. Food excellent and service is 1st Class.

Ordered food for me and my daughter for xmas eve at 1815 its 2030 now and still no food no email about delays nothing absolutlely shocking

Staying in hotel on a Tuesday evening and went to the restaurant at 6.20pm only to be told it was closed. Sent into public bar but left quickly as the atmosphere was really bad. Read hotel reviews for other comments about bar. Messaged hotel re restaurant who said it closed at 6.30pm and on querying this, they apologised. As with the hotel, I just aren't able to recommend this place. Better to give it all a bye.

Out food was great and our server Liz was so helpful and lovely. Couldn't fault our service and made my son's birthday meal relaxed and enjoyable. Thank you

called in most mornings for fresh rolls with square sausage .. brilliant, all the products we tried were great lovely and fresh

Just a wee day out, ended up in Troon looking for somewhere to eat, and what a find Tempura was. Can’t fault the food or service at all, 10 out of 10, 5 stars, however you rate it, top marks.

The staff is most friendly and the food is okay. They also made a little mistake with the beef, but the replacement dish was quickly presented. Loved the pepper sauce. The meat was actually swimming in it, so could be a little bit less. Only thing is I found the price a bit high for the quality of the food. Don’t know if we would revisit With so manny good restaurants in the neighborhood but fur sure it was not a bad experience.
