Just a wee day out, ended up in Troon looking for somewhere to eat, and what a find Tempura was. Can’t fault the food or service at all, 10 out of 10, 5 stars, however you rate it, top marks.

Popped in 5pm on a Friday night for some food. Clean, Great service and food was lovely. Our server told us the specials and ran through the menu she was excellent. Highly recommend you try it if your in or near Troon.

Awful. Food was ok. Over attentive staff must have been asked 10 times if we had finished. No ambiance decor is awful. Staff were nice but won’t be back sorry,

This is the perfect example of doing it right! The menu is just right and focussed on everything they do well. The tempura portion was plentiful , crispy, and the skin on fries were coked to perfection. Service was exceptional. Staff here take pride in their work and great service makes the difference between good and great! Flat white coffee was a bit milky and was quickly whisked away to be replaced by coffee perfection. I can't fault this place and suggest you get there as soon possible. Well done to all the team. We will be back soon!

Extremely rude cleaning staff and when complained, I was confronted with an equally rude manageress. No respect for customers or legitimate complaints. Visited the toilets, whilst my wife ordered coffee. I was faced with yellow signs stating Caution Wet Surface. With this in mind, I continued down the corridor where the cleaner accosted me with such a severe condescending attitude. Saying, "toilets are closed for cleaning that's why the signs are out" I can't stress enough, the attitude in which it was said. I said oh, okay and formed a queue for the disabled toilet. I noticed the signs were placed the wrong way around and on the reverse side, they said closed for cleaning. I rejoined my wife and asked for the manager. Now joined by the cleaner, who shouted over me and would not allow me to say the signs are wrong and that she shouldn't speak to customers that way. Much to my horror, the same attitude came from the manageress. I, of course, were trying to make myself heard and had to attempt to raise my voice over the two. Never, have I ever been treated this way by serving staff in my life. They both need training in customer relations. Disgusting. Both, talking over me, so I can't voice my complaint and the manageress, even told me I have to leave. Unbelievable. I left and certainly will not return to this branch and if this is how they train their staff, Costa have lost two customers in all their outlets. Not being spoken to that way. How about parents teaching respect for elders too. They were both very young, with attitude to match. How do you get to be a manager at Costa? Certainly not by customer relations

Went in for a birthday dinner as our daughter turned 21. We got the mixed grill to share and it didn’t disappoint, cooked to perfection. Daughters took the burgers and it was also very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable if you compare it to Millar and carter, which I frequent often. But saying that I’ve been to the Millar and carter in Liverpool and Chester which were disappointing. The drunken coo is now off my favourites to have a steak at and a bonus as it’s local to us.
