The staff are lovely, coffee is great and the variety of food available at costa is always brilliant.

Mediocre at best, cakes were a bit stale, and frankly overpriced for what you get, staff seemed a bit harassed. I don't think I'll trouble them again.

My daughter and I go to Costa coffee in Ayr after a busy school day. Hot chocolate is our favourite drink there. This time we tried with orange flavour. Staff are very helpful and they work very hard. We go there just before the closing time, staff are still smiling.... They have lot's of energy. Our favourite place in Ayr

Would you like cream and marshmallows with your hot chocolate? Yes. Well, you pay 50p extra here for both. Got hit with 3 of those big mashmallows- not the size I had in mind and no use with my paper cup. I had to have a paper cup as they had ran out of actual cups. So a bit Naffed off, I forgot you have so many add ons in Costa that are free elsewhere. This was my first seated visit to this Costa. £9.85 for 2 large drinks and a wee dry wafer biscuit is okay, staff are friendly, place is busy. Everything is fairly new.

Went in to costa for a hot chocolate and the person who served me was a lovely, friendly and polite young man. The hot chocolate was at the right temperature and it was just lovely. I would like to say thank you for the lovely and kind service I receive when I came in. The staff is absolutely lovely and the customer service is out of this world. When you go to order a coffee they do everything with a smile and the service is fantastic would recommend to anyone.

Just not clean enough.... Dust in corners, cobwebs. Appreciate it's busy and staff levels maybe low, but these standards really matter

I like Costa, coffee is good and the cakes are lovely, just the price is a bit expensive but what price hasn't went up lately.

The staff are always so very helpful and friendly, but have had a terrible insight into my coffee habit when they know my order before I ask!

When i visited Costa coffee on the 14th of April there were multiple tables with cups and plates needing cleaned, and after 10 minutes, a young man came out to clear tables, he lifted the dirty dishes, but never once did any of the tables get sanitised with a spray and cloth, I think they need to up there cleanliness as that's not exceptable, the whole time I was sat there nothing got cleaned, and it doesn't matter weather there's covid or not, all tables should be wiped when customers leave !!!

Fruit coolers are always refreshing in the warmer weather. The biscoffee cheesecake went down a treat.

I asked for two lattes to sit in ..I was given two lattes to take away ..I asked the person that was making the coffee for them to be put in a glass cup ...he drew me a nasty look and said il get them when I'm ready ..I was stunned told him I'd have them at the table in a few mins ..he mumbles something and walked away ...10 mins I waited to receive my latte this costa was in ayr central

Love going in for my Latte & crossant you can chillout as long as you want, so relaxing. 🤗

I expected a company like this to have a decent range of vegetarian/vegan. Nope! Only fake turkey toasties and unable to make anything else up for us. Too noisy when music was switched on. My partially deaf mother could hardly hear me talk. Won't be rushing back.

Slowest barista(guy, short dark hair) I ever witnessed. Don't go there if you're planning to get your coffee in less than 15min

If you love coffee then this is place go go as they sell your favourite products in store and you can buy some and take it home too. Really quick service here.

Great cafe in Ayr Central, always seats available, they keep to the Covid rules. The sandwiches and toasties are delicious and they are always bringing out new ones like cheese and beans. Really handy to park underneath especially if you're disabled, as there is also a lift. The staff are lovely.

The staff are so helpful, friendly & polite. The shop is always kept super clean & everyone is keeping to the Covid rules which is brilliant. I really like coming to this shop as it's so relaxing & you don't get harassed to hurry up as they need the table for another customer. When I'm in Ayr shopping I always go to Costa even if it's a take away Costa coffee.

Just went in for a coffee as the rain was horrendous. The americano was very weak but good seating and staff were friendly.

Small queue with very pleasant member of staff taking track & trace details & ensuring optimum numbers inside. Customers very well spaced out inside & tables wiped down regularly. Very bright and cozy inside with friendly counter staff. Asked for very hot coffee and got exactly that! Always a big bonus for me

Just picked up a brie, bacon and cranberry panini to go and had to bin the whole thing after one mouthful. The bacon was pure fat, and the brie has started to get an orange rind. Absolutely disgusting and a complete waste of money.

We took our granddaughter for lunch. She says the roll on sausage was awesome and loved her bottle of Fanta with a glass containing ice and a bright coloured straw. They ran out of popcorn and didn't have ginger bread men but a chocolate coin sorted the problem. My husband n I enjoyed bacon rolls and nice hot tea. Staff very helpful and restaurant clean and well organised for covid safety. Will defo use again.

Staff need more training on customer service. Usually when I go in I'm treated like an inconvenience and for almost £4 a coffee, it feels like a joke. Today I won't be back in since I was treated the same & staff have an attitude like they can't be bothered. Cafe Nero around the corner has a much better atmosphere & I'll go there from now on.

Shocking service. Was told no seats available so to come back shortly. Came back after 10 mins only to be told sorry no seats available and you cant sit in anyway as the seating area closed at 4pm. This was at 3.50pm. Glad lockdown hasnt affected Costa as they are knocking back paying customers.

Always friendly staff who are helpful like to go for good coffee and cake wrap or toastie. The overall cleanliness is fitst class and so makrs it an enjoyable visit and will always go back.

Often call in here while out shopping and enjoy my coffee. The choice of biscuits, cakes etc. to go with the coffee is great. Would recommend to anyone and the young staff are all so juce

I not keen on there coffee cold to British pallet typical American philosophy so tried they frestine how can get cold drink wrong but it can be done I go just make sure the artist blends it right as is nice and freshing

After shopping today, I just wanted to have a morning break here, I am having a relaxing time at Costa, Christmas spirit is already here. Cherry 🍰 is yummy. Staff is working hard, especially the girl who's preparing the coffees. Thanks for your hard work, your coffee is perfect.

had a less than pleasant visit to this cafe. the girl seemed really unprofessional and more interested in chatting than serving me when i only asked for a latte!! stood waiting around looking for places to sit and every table was dirty and piled with dishes so i got it togo. worst costa ive been in and will be going to cafe nero instead!!

Very friendly staff, excellent service, good choice of food and beverages, nice ambience and good location. Had a Medium Cappacino, toasted teacake, and some lovely millionaire shortbread.

Good service from barista, had lovely lemon muffin and latte. Only gave 4 * because it is rather pricey.

My favourite coffee (and cake) place. However it is in need of a make-over. The "easy" chairs in particular are badly needing replaced. Beyond their control would be an extension for peak times.
