The best restaurants serving American food in Rother South East

Epic spot on the promenade. Best burger I’ve had in UK. Hands down! Bacon cheese for the win! Rest of the family had burgers and franks.

We had a really delicious meal here this afternoon. The service is great along with the food. I had the succulent muscles which were in an incredible cream and white wine sauce.

Great place to hide from the sun, food was the best Rye can offer. Exceptional fries, onion rings, burgers and wraps. Lovely friendly staff front and back of house. Made us feel truly welcomed. Five stars

Had a pleasant meal here. It was a week day evening and still fairly busy, which was good to see. The staff were good, efficient and pleasant. I was disappointed with the food, though. We ordered one of the platters, which included chicken, ribs, brisket, etc... It tasted ok, but I would have trouble believing it was smoked on-site, if at all? The chicken was dry along with the brisket, the wings were breaded, fried, and tiny. The ribs were very tender and fell from the bone but if they were smoked at all the overwhelming amount of sweet bbq sauce disguised it. Would visit again, but maybe try a burger or something.

Burgers are insanely good. We are burger brats and want luxury for the calories and these are definitely the best around!!

We had a lovely meal here, the restaurant is beautiful inside and out and the staff were very friendly! Our food was delicious, there’s a good range of drinks/cocktails to choose from and everything is reasonably priced. We would definitely come back if we visit Battle again!

Had a lovely family birthday dinner at The Union Rye. The staff were super fun and very helpful. The menu was an interesting set of dishes that were ideal for sharing. Most of the ingredients were sourced locally. Will definitely return when next in Rye.

Terrible experience, waiting nearly an hour for breakfast to be told the order hadn’t even been put into the kitchen well definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone, first time experience too not a good look custom cafe

Order incomplete impossible to get phone answered.went in person 8am Saturday morning.got into the most upsetting and embarrassing confrontation with awful manageress.an uber driver decided to join in and insult me.and moronic white van men shouted out vile abuse.I’m 68 and found the whole experience really upsetting.never never never touching this place again….change the staff,change the management please.

No wonder this Restaurant is rated 21 out of 21 in Bexhill. No customers when we arrived, cold food, overcooked touch chicken. The worst KFC we have ever had. Very disappoint, with disinterested staff.
