The best restaurants serving American food in Isle of Wight South East

The Food Shack is a great little local bar, sadly it is unable to remain open after the end of March due to not enough footfall. We have had a lot of great evenings here. I wish anyone who takes over good luck getting many of the residents to use it as Stuart the current owner has tried everything but still only gets a core couple of dozen regular users who will miss it terribly.

Still the best restaurant in the world. The owner, the food, the atmosphere and beverages is just fantastic. We really enjoy coming here, just a great place to eat.

Lovely warm welcome and all staff were really friendly and helpful. All the food was delicious from the salt and pepper squid, to the hot crispy chips, but our absolute highlight was the Chateaubriand, it was to die for ⭐️ Thank you so much Jan Stew Louie Monty and Hugo

lovely place! decorated to the theme amazingly, making it a unique place to eat. something a bit different! food comes well presented and extremely quickly, although i have heard it gets busy in here, and we came at 2.30pm on a Saturday. served an abundance of food for the price, didn't manage to finish it all, but would rather that than be left hungry! would 100% come back here!

The food was fantastic, the cocktails were delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful. All round we had great evening and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

We had made a reservation based on spending the day in the animal farm next door and needing somewhere close and convenient to eat. Our reservation was for 4, 2 adults and 2 children and having miss judged when we would want to eat we asked to pull out booking forward and hour. “No problem at all” We were seated by a lovely waitress who managed our table for the whole time. She provided recommendations and had a generally lovely demeanour. We ordered off the specials, 1 Sunday lunch, 1 big burger and a couple extra bits. The food came quick and both of us were shocked by the size and quality. We probably over ordered but both agreed the food was fantastic. If we find ourselves back on the IOW I’d say it’s very likely that we would eat here again. The only frustration was that failed to get our waitresses name!

Really enjoyed our visit here yesterday. My husband and I both had a bagel which was really delicious. I had the chicken and avocado and it was really packed with filling, so tasty. The staff were friendly and welcoming, I would definitely return.

Warm,Cosy, comfortable and friendly place to come to eat and relax. Back ground music to suit all tastes. The food is exceptionally good quality and good value. Dont take my word for it, find out for yourself.

Awful customer service. For such a small business, that I’ve heard good things about, their customer service is really bad. Not sure if he’s the owner, but he was rude. A smile would go far it’s not hard :) x

So the food. Well it's McDonald's food.that is what it is . As standard. The service is shocking. Your order will never be correct. You must check it before u leave . The amount of times, food has been wrong or not put in the bag at all. They don't ever seem to get it right. The atmosphere up there is much better than other McDonald's, mainly because teenangels don't usually venture that far away from a console.

Having paid over 35.00 for our order. When it was delivered it was the wrong order. The person who delvered work not pick up when we tried phoning him There was no way to contact KFC. So the food was wasted because it was Zingers and I can't eat spicy food.

The food is not good. I had a snack box. It was supposed to come with fries. It came with soggy chips which were flavoured with some spice mix and were most unpleasant. They were not freshly cooked and were hidden behind a screen so you couldn't see them before ordering. You can't call soggy chips fries. Fries are thin and crispy, not soggy and thick. That said, the staff were pleasant, parking was free and the place looked clean. Just not to my taste at all. Very disappointing. I won't be going to a KFC again in a long time!
