Food Shack & Bar at Gurnard in Isle of Wight

I have just this second put the phone down to Mark the proprietor of CIWYW. He handed back the keys to the temporary old shoe shop they had been usingsince last august in January. There are further plans both In Cowes and also on mainland going forward but there will be a Very comprehensive pop up restaurant taking place for 10 days over COWES week. If you have never eaten at CIWYW The food is amazing, no menu as such, but in my mind possibly the best food youll get in Cowes. I wish them great sucess and look forward to seeing them all in august

Food good but service seemed a bit slow. Was told only one chef was in the kitchen on a busy Saturday evening. Would happily go there again though.

I asked around locally the best place for breakfast and this place come highly recommended so I went for the steak breakfast I asked for the steak without blood and it arrived cooked very well but suddenly the eggs that I’ve asked for not snotty but not hard we rock hard and covered in oil And the tomato when I get into it, it tasted of old fat the whole breakfast was very greasy lots of fat it doesn’t take five minutes to debit with a bit of kitchen and get rid of the oil so I only rate it a 3 staff were nice and friendly and the coffee was good

Great atmosphere and great food

A best choice while you visit IOW, same menu as you get in the Main land :)
