I had a vegan falafel burger and it was freshly prepared with crispy lettuce and tasty mushrooms, vegan cheese and mayo - it was delicious!

We popped to Carfax for some lunch and found Steak Expectations. The steak was amazing, there were various options of toppings / sauces and the chap serving was very friendly and pleasant. We would definitely recommend!

My partner and I have ordered food from Ginger Rookes a couple of times throughout the pandemic. Without a shadow of a doubt the BEST food we've eaten this year. Ran by the a super chill & friendly guy who is king of the bbq, we can't get enough of his amazing food and generous portion sizes. The ribs in particular are something else. Can't recommend highly enough.

I can't speak highly enough of Planet Sprinkles. I'm working my way down the menu and have loved every dessert so far! The spiced apple was particularly tasty. The owner is also really friendly and even remembered us from a few months ago. This is how customer service is done!

I have used this bakery for a while for lunches and it has never disappointed. More than generous portions, great food, clean and tasty - worth the trip to Partridge Green as it knocks spots off the over expensive bakery in Henfield …. And far more reasonably priced!

By far the best burgers in town! Full of flavour, right amount of burger sauce and the fries are perfectly cooked. The service is exceptional and very friendly - shout out to Shane who went above and beyond for us! 100% recommend the food and drink - you won’t be disappointed!

We went for a birthday treat, first time I’d been wonderful staff and fantastic food we will be back to try the breakfast . This time it was lunch.

Wonderful local pub in the heart of Southwater. Decent atmosphere, music and quiz fortnightly. Food is nice, good variety. Landlord very welcoming .

It’s great if you love incomplete food. Went to get a family bucket. Got home no chips at all!! One less piece of chicken than advertised - we had 5 not 6. Tried to call but phone ‘busy’ either disconnected or everyone else phoning to complain about the lack of food. Too far to come back and face the drama of parking to get some cold chips. Not happy - but seeing why it’s 2 stars! Had chicken from a local kebab which was just as tasty , cheaper and had all the items promised. Really sad - this used to be a great place. One to avoid now I think ( along with a lot of other people by the looks of it )
