Just had the best roast potato I have ever eaten and just had to write a review . Fabulous roast dinner with roast carrots and parsnips. Parsnips are a must for me but not offered everywhere and the roast carrots were beautifully cooked , seasoned and full of taste . Homemade tasty gravy . Food was amazing and excellent value . Nothing was too much trouble . Lovely meal thank you

Fantastic place. New owners have taken over the odd fellows arms and wow, what a difference. The Sunday roasts were awesome with all meat supplied by the local butcher and cooked to perfection. The landlord (Tom) was charming and very welcoming. This place had an on off history, but it is very on now

Beautiful steak and ale pie with creamy Irish potatoes and gravy. Beers perfectly kept at right temperature. Very welcoming inn and great to see the locals back in and embracing it. Thanks.

Have visited twice since new management to find it closed. We went today for a drink and some lunch as we have been going for years. Walking in to a cool reception from barman (who surely could not be the manager/owner?????). When we approached the bar he promptly left with nothing to say to us, walked off to back of house and proceeded to use every swear word at the top of his voice. After a few minutes we saw a waitress and asked about drinks- she went back of house and came back shrugging her shoulders!!!! Obviously we left - who wants to listen to all this and still not get served when trying to support a new local business! I would have thought that customers would come first before screaming and swearing at who ever! It’s a terrible shame but we will NEVER visit again until the big changes that are needed - especially the man behind the bar. DO NOT WASTE your time and effort.

Excellent fresh lunch had in this charming old fashioned ale house. The three of us had a fabulous Chicken Cesar salad. Very welcoming lord. Worth a visit to this charming old pub with a great local feel.
