OUT OF THIS WORLD ICE CREAM! Got the missus a Jaffa Ice Cream - as she's a Jaffa-Cake monster! She was over the moon as was I as it kept her quiet for about 3 minutes! I had the Mint Choc Chip - Honestly, I am a bit annoyed that I'm a Henfield resident and it's taken until September 2024 to go in there for an Ice Cream. I absolutely will be back - HENFIELD RESIDENTS - Any of you who read this - GO AND GET AN ICE CREAM!

Really good burgers! Delivery excellent too! The chicken fillet burger and cheeseburger are our favourites! Highly recommend!

We popped to Carfax for some lunch and found Steak Expectations. The steak was amazing, there were various options of toppings / sauces and the chap serving was very friendly and pleasant. We would definitely recommend!

My partner and I have ordered food from Ginger Rookes a couple of times throughout the pandemic. Without a shadow of a doubt the BEST food we've eaten this year. Ran by the a super chill & friendly guy who is king of the bbq, we can't get enough of his amazing food and generous portion sizes. The ribs in particular are something else. Can't recommend highly enough.

I have used this bakery for a while for lunches and it has never disappointed. More than generous portions, great food, clean and tasty - worth the trip to Partridge Green as it knocks spots off the over expensive bakery in Henfield …. And far more reasonably priced!

Great beer choices, friendly staff and the machine and cheese is really good, needs to come with garlic bread would be the only criticism. Vegetarian burger was tasty too, cheesy beer sauce was great.

We visited for the first time after hearing many great things about the diner and we were not disappointed! We came for breakfast to celebrate my husbands birthday and were greeted by friendly staff who took the time to chat with us and tell us more about the diner etc. The diner itself is fantastic; lots of fascinating decor to look at, a juke box and quirky condiments on the table; it was fab! The food was hot, tasty, plentiful and just what we wanted! My husband ordered Max’s American special and I had the full English; we arrived very hungry and left feeling very very full!! The milkshakes were delicious too! We will be encouraging friends and family to visit this little gem and will definitely be back to try the burgers!! Thank you for a great visit.

We had our family Christmas dinner on Saturday 21 Dec 2024 and we really had a wonderful time. We had the festive menu and it was delicious! The table service and staff were brilliant. We plan on having our Christmas dinner here again! Absolutely recommend 100%

What a marvellous meal I have just enjoyed at the Oddfellows Arms Pulborough along with other members of the bowls club . The food was superb as was the service and the ambience

Nice welcome with friendly staff, free parking outside and just off the downs link for walkers and cyclists and a warm welcome for dogs.

It’s great if you love incomplete food. Went to get a family bucket. Got home no chips at all!! One less piece of chicken than advertised - we had 5 not 6. Tried to call but phone ‘busy’ either disconnected or everyone else phoning to complain about the lack of food. Too far to come back and face the drama of parking to get some cold chips. Not happy - but seeing why it’s 2 stars! Had chicken from a local kebab which was just as tasty , cheaper and had all the items promised. Really sad - this used to be a great place. One to avoid now I think ( along with a lot of other people by the looks of it )
