The best restaurants serving American food in Oldham North West

I remember billingtons when I was a kid I have very fond memories When a friend of mine told me it was open again I was so happy Wow what they have created is amazing

We ordered from here the first time today, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. I will recommend it to everyone.

First of many visits to Karben! We were welcomed by the owner who twisted our arm into trying their ‘Witches Brew’ Halloween cocktail - very nice! We were seated by the river inside one of the heated pods, the owner again taking the time to show us how to work the coloured lights and Bluetooth speaker to play with at our leisure. The Sunday roast was outstanding - will definitely be returning to try more of the dishes 😋

Great atmosphere but kinda disappointed by the watery coffees. Huge difference in between expectation and reality with the coffees.

Loved the vibe walking up to and inside the restaurant. Has a great atmosphere with lots to look at. I chose the philly steak hot dog. The dog itself was fantastic, I just found the toppings underwhelming. Fantastic margarita cocktail.

This pub is probably the best in Lees and Uppermill / Greenfield, cleanliness is utmost of importance, (covid), very friendly, serves good food and drink. If rated I would give this 5+ 07/10/20 Just had a scone, lovely, also had previously a ham salad sandwich, most excellent, (always judge a place by the ham sandwich) love the place ❤️ Still has 5* rating

Thursday 18th Jan 24. Decided on dinner out 6-15 Not too busy early doors. Offers 2 for 1 on steak/ grill menu, but we decided on sideplates. Meatballs, fishcake, salt pepper chicken, onion rings, chunkier chips. Bottle red wine, 2 pints estrella. Just under £65. Good service and food.Will be back to try the steak. Dave N. Oldham.

Some confusion with the delivery but rang the restaurant and sorted quickly. Amazing food, very tasty and fresh. All came with a nice fresh salad and presented very well. Will definitely be ordering from here again! Thank you

Arrived on Saturday 1pm, only 2 other people in, entrance door wide open as the place stunk of smoke already, sign at the door CASH only, not a biggie, cash machine 30 seconds walk but after speaking to a friend who had also visited in January looks like the 'broken' card terminal may be an ongoing thing. On a photo the selection looks quite nice however don't be fooled, in real life what you really get is a selection of pre packaged food items advertised as home made, namely; 1. scones, they looked like morrisons value range with almost no clotted cream, and someone else had already prepared them... 2. Chocolate looking cake - 100% shop bought and there were empy packets on shelf round the back 3. Cheesecake OK but I doubt it was home made.. 4. Cut up shop bought waffle with a bit of choc sauce 5. No berries despite being advertised on menu 6. Burger tasted AWFUL and was luke warm (questionable quality of meat, tasted like cheap frozen patty and charcoal) 7. Chicken sandwich ok but not enough chicken in both (we were party of 2), 8. Fries arrived luke warm and were not great, cheap frozen chips covered in Chinese five spice, hardly salt n pepper chips.. 9. Onion rings - nothing to rate Drinks wise - you either get a glass of basic lemonade with some red food colouring or 1 hot drink. We were very shocked as there are places where you get unlimited hot drinks w afternoon tea. Service - young girl who was pleasant enough, but forgot to bring us plates and mid way through our experience rocked up with two teaspoons saying she forgot (again bearing in mind there were only 2 other guests in). Atmosphere - dingey, freezing (door open with 3 degrees C outside no heating throughout), cloud of smoke and smell of must, sticky floors, tired carpets, no warm water in bathroom, music volume kept going up and down. We did not complain in person, however I did write an email with my views on the whole experience, pointing out their website shows very different information. I was advised they do not have access to their website and they the 'New' menu has been out on their socials for a while - you're not thinking of people that do not use social media and really should make more effort to remove a website that is misleading. Bottom line - Anyone debating going I STRONGLY RECOMMEND, THAT YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS NOT IT AND IT WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY! There are far far better places to eat around Oldham especially, afternoon tea especially. One plus - you can take away what you've not eaten in a paper box.

I’m a regular at BBQ’D, and it’s hands down one of the best spots in Oldham. The food is always top-notch great flavors, big portions, and perfectly cooked every time. What makes it even better is the service, especially from Sameer. He’s friendly, attentive, and always makes sure everything’s just right. If you’re after great food and excellent service, BBQ’D is the place to go!

Lovely friendly place. Gluten-free meals are labelled clearly on the menu. It's worth a visit. A little cold. Toilets are very clean.

Great Restaurant! Attentive Staff! Convenient Location! Awesome Food! Been with my wife numerous times and Fusion 21 has never disappointed. Food Quality and Service is always excellent. They never fail to make the costumers feel welcomed and valued!

We visited the pub last night after going to Manchester. The pub was very busy however it was filthy dirty, glasses and empty plates everywhere on tables on the bar. The ladies toilets were disgusting, very dirty I wouldn’t use them. Staff were very miserable and some doing more than others. One male member of staff kept going into the kitchen and coming out eating pizza and other things, standing at the end of the bar. Very unprofessional. Litter on the floor, tables not cleaned, empty glasses all over. Very unpleasant visit and I will not be going again. Let’s JD Wetherspoon’s down.

Absolutely disgusting how they didn’t contact about my order being replaced and orders missing won’t be print here again
