Milan Bar & Function Venue in Oldham

Thursday 18th Jan 24. Decided on dinner out 6-15 Not too busy early doors. Offers 2 for 1 on steak/ grill menu, but we decided on sideplates. Meatballs, fishcake, salt pepper chicken, onion rings, chunkier chips. Bottle red wine, 2 pints estrella. Just under £65. Good service and food.Will be back to try the steak. Dave N. Oldham.

A very nice bar and restaurant. My daughter and some friends had been the Sunday before and recommended it so we booked it for my birthday, Sunday 20th. Originally booked for 16/17 people, but changed to 19 last minute, no problem. Staff were very helpful and friendly, meals were good and very reasonably priced. So booked Fri 25th for our daughters leaving party, again 19 people, once again another good meal, reasonably priced.

Quality food at a great price all served together, had a baby in a high chair, no dramas great experience

Beautiful Sunday dinner. Great service and value for money. Lovely staff. Can’t fault any of it. The goat cheese bruschetta was lovely, the lamb shank was amazing and the sticky toffee pudding was tremendous. 3 course for £18. Perfect.

I can never understand why Milan isn't pack out with diners. They do a 3 courses for £18 menu and the food served is a real treat - so tasty! Service is friendly and accommodating. The QR code ordering can be a bit hit and miss as i sometimes cant work out what food is available but there's no issue ordering at the bar as needed. Sometimes the music can be a bit loud for dining amnd i miss the cocktails they used to do (amaretto sours served with the mini bottle as garnish, pornstar martinis rather than passion fruit martinis etc) but it's not the end of the world. The pizzas they do are really nice and been to a couple of functions and there and had a great time. I'd highly recommend Milan for an amazing meal at an unbelievable price 😊

Used to come to this venue and always found it to be nice, superior to the other venues in Lees. So much so previously booked the venue for a private function. Persuaded my family to go to Milan Bar for Sunday lunch. Sat down, table was half set. Noticed the table didn't look clean so wiped it with baby wipes...it was filthy. I appreciate things get missed but this was gross. Menu was as expected for the price. The starter - the prawns were okay. The main was delicious...best roast I have had in a while. The dessert was again average, but to be honest given the price I wouldn't have any gripe about the food. Drinks were a little bizarrely priced...£3.50 for a pint of cordial and soda! However I can only assume it has fallen victim to the COVID curse. The table was filthy, the window behind us was the same - could barely see through it. On the floor next to our table there was a sludge across the floor. It was a warm day and the side room was stuffy and unpleasant with flies buzzing around. There was an air con unit on the wall but it wasn't turned on. The service was average, all ordering through a QR code or drinks at the bar. First two courses came okay but third appeared to have been forgotten. I'll be honest I would have walked out without the dessert but given we had already paid we asked and it then turned up. Real shame as the main course was brilliant, let down by the environment. Appreciate for the price of the menu that the food was as expected but don't expect the environment. Won't return, will go to The Bank and happily pay a lot more money.

THE best Sunday lunch and the steak night is soo good Value for money quality produce and friendly staff.

We went for a 3 course Sunday lunch and the food was exceptional! Can Honestly say it's the best roast dinner we've ever had and it was all such a good price at £13.00 each for 3 courses. Only knocked off a star as service was very slow but we'd definitely return!

Just been for Father's Day and once again, the food was absolutely superb. The staff are always lovely and the atmosphere is so relaxed. Highly recommend, especially the Sunday Lunch.

Gorgeous as always. You cannot fault this place and will not get a better Sunday roast anywhere else local. We come here regularly and for most family special meals. The food is always amazing and the price is unbeatable. Great service as always too.

Booked for a meal today. On entering the bar no one to greet us and show us to our table. Difficult to get to bar as so busy to ask where our table was. Fell over plastic post on way in obstructing doorway. Tables cramped together. Unsure where dining area was, not clear. Very noisy. Attempted to ask for help at bar but shoved out of way by people drinking at the bar. Decided to leave as got no attention and no staff walking around to ask. Very disappointed. Aware it’s a bank holiday weekend but it seemed chaotic and very disorganised. Won’t be going again!!

Saturday afternoon special of 3 courses for £12 - was a bit dubious however when the food was served it was top quality , fresh and piping hot absolute bargain for £12 will be back soon

Had lunch here with a group of friends the other day. The lunch menu is great value for money. The food was delicious and the service was first class.

We decided to pop to Milan for an impromptu meal prior to going to the cinema. We both had the steak and what more can be said other than 2 clean plates, food as always cooked to perfection with great quality produce.

Came to Milan bar for the bottomless brunch with friends. What can I say? The menu was just lovely. Good presentation was outstanding and very tasty. The cocktails kept coming and tried lots of different ones. The staff where very friendly. They couldn't do enough and made us feel very welcome. Lovely place too. Tastefully decorated. £20 bought you a ticket for this fantastic gin tasting night, complete with tapas and entertainment from the fabulous Jake Fletcher. Sampled 3 different types of gin with fever tree mixers, absolutely scrummy, well worth the money and a return visit is a must,

I recently held my Daughters Birthday party at Milan. Everything from start to finish exceeding expectations. From the initial conversations with Andy and Paul i knew i was in good hands.

Visit this venue regularly but I feel that the new menu needs special mention. The burger is phenomenal, grilled to perfection and the salad on it is actually crisp and fresh unlike other places I’ve been recently. My friend had the crispy beef salad to start and the wild mushroom ravioli for mains, she simply beamed when I asked her opinion. The new management team here have really made an effort and though the aesthetics of the venue need work you can see an improvement every time you visit. Lees really has a place to eat and drink at finallly

These guys are really making an effort here after years of neglect they have gotten to grips with the task ahead.

A scruffy looking building from outside but pleasant enough interior , reasonably priced drinks and nice food

Fantastic food and some amazing offers. Superb function room and the staff are brilliant wide selection of gins, cocktails, wines and some nice premium lagers. We’ve had a few functions there and Rick couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful. I simply can’t recommend this place enough. Plus on a nice summers eve the terrace area gets the sun until well in the evening.

The food here is always of a high standard, delicious. The pizzas here are amazing, made in their own Pizza Oven outside. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, great place to go.

We had are wedding reception here 2 years ago and it was the perfect place i would highly recommend it for your venue.

Went here 21/7 for a pizza. The pizza was fairly average but served on a plate with a pizza cutter. No cutlery or napkins were provided. Don't like not having an option of a knife and fork, but worse to have to handle and eat food by hand with nothing to wipe hands on, very uncivilised. It was not possible to ask for these items as once the pizza was served we had no further contact with a staff member. Won't be repeating this experience.

Came to meet friends for food and drinks 22/07. Mega burgers and better cocktails! Service from the bar tender Curt was 10/10. We will be returning!!

Come here semi regularly for drinks but ended up eating this time too. I had a delicious pizza, crisp thin base and my girlfriend had a burrito which she assured me was excellent too. Reasonably priced for both beer and food. Definitely be returning for food in the future

8oz fillet steak, perfectly cooked, radically underpriced, only £18! If your after a steak this is the place to eat. Highly recommended.
