After walking past Sim's several times, we finally 'took the plunge' and went in - we are so happy we did. Amazing steaks, great value - even if the decor is a little dated, it's still a great meal and saves you having to go intro central London and pay double

Fantastic attendants, they're the owners! Great portions, great tasty battered Cod and chunky Chips, Juicy Kebabs too! Just 2 minutes from the train station, the last shop on the shops parade terrace.

First time trying MotherFlipper!! Burger was Juicy and flavoursome with fresh ingredients. Just Delicious!! Staff are super friendly and welcoming. Our waitress Kettie gave amazing service!! My only criticism isn’t a criticism at all, but a lapse in my judgement based on the photos. The Brockley resturant is quite small, seating maybe 10-12 people max I would say. I will definitely return.

Great coffee, atmosphere, choice of menu, decor and owner. What more can I say. Visited many times with my sister and have never been disappointed.

Always a friendly welcome. The food is good and especially the chips which are the best in the area. Good prices and hearty portions. Definitely recommend, we go at least once a week.

The bucket was split at the bottom so bad that the chicken was nearly falling out. My order was missing sides and a 1.5L drink. Very poor packing/operation at the restaurant. Will avoid ordering from the Catford branch in the future.

Relaxed and welcoming is how I’d describe The New Cross House - lovely atmosphere, nice decor, good food, and great customer service. The food isn’t spectacular, but it is decent pub grub - which we thoroughly enjoyed. My only (minor) complaint is that we would have preferred our Boozy Hot Chocolate to be hot rather than tepid. The thing I enjoyed most about The New Cross House is the fact you can actually have a conversation with your friends (and hear them) rather than having to shout at each other over unbearably loud music. I really enjoyed my visit here and will definitely be returning.

Esperamos 40 minutos para una hamburguesa simple y papas fritas, apenas una disculpa del personal. Y solo había un pequeño puñado de clientes, absolutamente ninguna razón para demorar tanto. Solo esperé a que llegara ya que estábamos hambrientos. La comida en sí estaba bien, definitivamente no vale la pena el precio o la espera. No hay música, no hay ambiente, asientos incómodos. Do not waste your time ordering food from these people. They blame everything o uber eats. The food is over priced I waited two hours for food which never arrived. They don't have a working contact number on uber eats as the customer service team was unable to get through. Horrible and should be closed permanently.

I’ve just eaten my Tr Spice food - it’s the second time I’ve ordered from them & both times I’ve been disappointed with the portion size. Each Friday I get a takeaway & normally spend £30 for x2 adults & x1 child.I’ve just spent £30 & I’m still hungry. Yes the food is tasty but I can’t afford to spend £30 & not be full. I am right now VERY upset. I’m looking at the lamb chops & x2 sides for when my husband comes in from work & I know that’s not going to full him. We’re not big people but the portions need to fill hard working people! Am I really moaning? That’s how I feel right now - upset.
