Wanderlust Eatery in Lewisham

Great coffee, atmosphere, choice of menu, decor and owner. What more can I say. Visited many times with my sister and have never been disappointed.

Called in for brunch with family. The staff were very good but the food - particularly the waffle, avocado, crispy chicken and egg was sensational. Lovely place with travel books everywhere that are reigniting the travel bug in me.

We went to visit the guys at wanderlust for the very first time yesterday to celebrate my life birthday, and let me just say it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable family meals I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable, the menu was extremely diverse and there was something for everyone. Super dog friendly, LGBTQ+ friendly and just a wonderful atmosphere inside and out (also very Instagramable! definitely pay them a visit.

Although this is a welcome addition to Catford's cafe scene I always find the service really slow, no matter how quiet. Drinks can be expensive though. The waffles are good and the paninis but the whole crew member, pilot monikers are a bit offputting really as are the owner's very specific style of employee. It seems that dark straight hair, false eyeshes and red lipstick are the name of the game and not very inclusive. I can see why other people like it. It's great to take kids for a treat but can be full of mums with babies and buggies if you time it wrong so not very conducive to a quiet drink. I'd recommend you give it a try and see what you think.

Such a great find, friendly staff and great décor. loved sitting in the sunny garden at the back. tasted an delicious cronut and coffee made by the friendly owner Alexander. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

This is an amazing and exciting eatery with a fabulous menu! We went for breakfast and ended up going for lunch the following day as it was so great! The staff and owner, Alexander were so warm and welcoming and made it a truly personal and fun experience. I had food envy for every dish that came out the kitchen and will defo be going back to try more dishes! Even the drinks menu was exciting and I had a mango bubbles tea which was absolutely tremendous! I cannot rate this place enough! Honestly don’t miss out on this culinary treat!!! Everyone in our party of 4 had a meal that they loved and vowed they would all be going back independently.

What a great find! Such a fun menu, large portions, really tasty food. I love the whole travel concept, and the decor is lovely and welcoming. I had a waffle sandwich...fantastic ! The owner was there and was really friendly and Interacted with the customers. Kids would love this place. I also noticed they do quiz and music evenings.

Staff were rude and unfriendly when asked questions. The coffee drinks are also overpriced starting at £3+ . Ordered the vanilla chai and it just tasted like milk. Wouldn’t recommend, wouldn’t revisit. It’s a shame because the aesthetic has a lot of potential.

We visited for the first time and were so pleasantly surprised at how welcoming everyone was. The food was delicious and unlike anything we’d had before (I had a Dublin which was nothing short of genius!) and the drinks are so delicious. We came all the way from Hendon to try it and it was worth the trip! We will be back!

What a fantastic eaterie.The food is divine , the staff are friendly and helpful and the service is super quick. I recommend and will be returning to sample more authentic food . Value for money too...

LOVED everything about this place. Food...delicious. Drinks...creative,yummy. Atmosphere...welcoming,fun,unique, with great outdoor area in good weather. Staff/service...friendly,helpful. Just a top notch kind of experience that really makes your glad dining in restaurants is allowed again. Will be back soon!

We had the honour of being invited to wanderlust, eatery Verdant Lane and what an amazing place. We had been asked as the 3 Mayoresses to ribbon cut. They serve coffee on another level, I had the Biscoff coffee and thoroughly recommend it I also had the Melbourne open face waffle and something I will be having next time I’m in. It’s got such a lovely atmosphere and an outside area. The best bit is after 11:00 it’s adult drinks time. Well done guys it was truly our pleasure. Thank you 😊 do pop in...... you won’t regret x

A beautiful place to eat, friendly welcoming knowledgable staff, amazing drinks, scrumptious food and such an amazingly mouth watering array of pastries and sweet treats to choose from!
