Chicken Cottage in Lewisham

The Peri Peri and Fried Chicken were both really tasty. And the price was very reasonable considering how good the quality of food was. The restaurant itself was very clean. I would highly recommend this place.

Chicken nuggets aren't hard to do. You buy them from the cash and carry and deep fry them. How you wind up with near-liquid filling of tasteless filth in batter is beyond me but that's what they cooked up for me. Piping hot inside so it wasn't undercooked, just the cheapest nastiest piece of processed food in Lewisham. On a day when the outside temperature was around 5 degrees they kept the air conditioning on full blast, possibly to keep patrons awake but not a great idea in winter. It did little to stimulate the appetite which collapsed at the first and only bite of the soft solid. It's under new management but it tastes as bad as it did under the old management. Vegans rejoice, this place will boost your numbers substantially

I asked for the half peri peri chicken and wings to be medium, the half a chicken came with absolutely no seasoning at all on it and the wings were the smallest wings in the world. The corn on cob had no butter on it. The only good things I can say is the salad was fresh and the can if Pepsi was cold. Very disappointing meal. I called to complain and there was no offer to send a replacement meal, just an offer to make up for it next time which prob means I'd still have to pay anyway. Will not be ordering from here again.

waited more than 1.5 hours for the food, to only call them up myself to know they can't deliver. fair enough they kept apologising but they could of gave me a call or text. wasted so much time and i'm starving.

Driver lost ! I was waiting for 2 hours! I called restaurant they side they will send the driver agin with new food but they didn't ! No more order for this shop it's like funny

This place is a joke!! First couple of times they were late gave them one last chance and 2 hours after I order stilll no food! That's not how to run business fools.

So quick delivery, food was nice. I love the peri peri grilled chicken. It's so cheap...

It took an hour and half to get my food by then it was stone cold and they didn't even get the order right I was a meal short but when you ring the dont answer never again

I placed my order and pre-paid ... Obviously! The delivery was quick but it was not MY order. I tried to call the restaurant 15 times on the number provided on the page and there was no answer. I now have paid £13 for a meal that I have not received and cannot get in touch with the restaurant to rectify the situation. Shocking customer service !!! How do I get my money back!!!

Sorry really disappointed this time ordered your family meal 8 pieces of chicken 8 wings, fries and a side. How on earth are you supposed to share one reg fries between 4-6 people? ???? For the price I paid I would expect 4 reg fries with that meal. Tried to call but couldn't get through. Sort it out that is redick! !!

I was nothing short of impressed when 10 minutes after my order my door was knocked on! I had just received the 'your order is in the bag' email when the knock came. The food was perfect. And the delivery man was very polite. Thank you for dinner Cottage Chicken

First time order and was very impressed ordered a burger thinking it was just plain but it was soo spicy I couldn't eat it, but rang them and the manager very kindly replaced it with a plain non spicy burger and explained the burger I ordered is always spicy but apologised it didn't say on the meal I ordered. Resorted my first impression. Good was great think I found a new online chicken shop!

Food was very good however the chicken salad was kind of dry and needs more flavour marinated into it or a kind of saucevto marry the chicken and salad together for greater taste. The chicken salad needs to have more chicken it seemed like there was less chicken. Apart from that I enjoyed my meal very much.

Delivery was before expected time. Hope they maintain this service

Quick delivery and hot crunchy burger was worth trying

The service I received was CRAP!! I ordered my meal at 9pm by half 10 I haden't got my order. I phoned the takeaway numerous times but got no answer. So I had 2 walk 2 the shop and when I got there it was closed. I phoned 4 more times but got no answer even tho there was 4 members of staff in the shop.

Fresh cooked food. Delivery in time and the delivery boy is friendly.

Food was delicious! I never had a takeaway like this before! Also fresh and hot! I got my food in 20 minutes it's made me so happy and the delivery driver was friendly ! I will order again
