Chicago Grill Plus in Lewisham

They have a great vegetarian shawarma option, with lovely cheesy chilie chips. A little pricey, but sometimes you have to pay for quality.

I went into the "Chicago Grill Plus" because it advertised BBQ! It doesn't do bbq it's just a not very good kebab place. We had a chicken shwarma and a lamb shwarma. The chicken was okay if really salty, the lamb tasted like it was off. The chips were greasy and undercooked. The salad was nothing special and the total for the takeaway meal was £19 and it took a really long time waiting. There are much better places to get a kebab within a few doors, the greek place opositte The Marquis of Gransby just before the bus stops is much better

First visit to this restaurant. I got a take away. Chicken Shish, Chips and salad. Owner looked stoned out his head. Chicken salty and tasteless. Salad old and dry and tastes of vinegar. Not nice at all. Had a bit of it but most of my meal ended up in the bin. I should have known not to order... as i was walking in, a party of 4 diners were leaving and i notice that most of their food purchased was still on their plate!!. Would not be going back again. Stick to Aloosh which is not too far. You will never be disappointed. Food there is amazing!!!!

Popped in as a friend is vegan. Great selection including the excellent vegan chicken shawarma wrap, good size portion, was complemented by the garlic vegan mayo & chips. I had the mighty meat burger with chilli & cheese, both of us left very satisfied. The staff were brilliant, very friendly & made excellent suggestions as to what to eat. A gem of a place in New Cross, located between New Cross & New Cross Gate stations. Staff, food & atmosphere 10/10, would highly recommend

Chicago Grill Plus is a must go in New Cross. Unlike some other places on New Cross Road, they take credit/debit cards with no minimum, offer fresh food at a reasonable price, and have integrity in their spirit. The owner Namar S. is very friendly and it gives the location a great neighborhood feel. Whether you will be stopping in on Friday or Saturday night when they're open until 5 AM, or on a Wednesday afternoon, you will leave with a fully satisfied stomach and wallet.
