Fantastic evening at Maxwell's, great atmosphere, lovely food (plenty of choice on the menu) and very reasonably priced. Fab tasting cocktails, service was exceptional......a huge thank you to Luis our waiter who went over and above, we had an amazing experience and cannot wait to return.

Loved it except that we found out American bacon is tough, the shop replaced our burger though !

I love a steak!!!! This was really really good, we went before our Theatre trip. The food was really nice, and the service was quick as we only had a certain amount of time to eat before we needed to go. Will 100% come again

We visited Joe Allen’s as a post theatre treat. The staff were very friendly and polite. The service was excellent and the meal choices were varied.

The burgeeeeeeers are amaaaaazing, the prices are expensive but the burgers are sooooo gooooood I would love to come back to London just to taste the food here again

Booked here on our weekend away had a nice table by the window which was great sitting watching the bustling atmosphere in leicester square outside whilst relaxing in nice surroundings having a drink and a meal . Manager and waitress very attentive with service throughout asking how long we were visiting London for and what we did careers wise, to which she replied that they do blue ight discount at this restaurant and said she would ensure bill would reflect this. Would have given 5 star but 13.95 for a small glass of pinot grigio is a bit steep in my opinion in fact that is exactly the same as a small glass of wine in the Savoy. Although it is nice Angus Steak house is not the same league as the Savoy . Fillet steak and rack of ribs were cooked to perfection, would visit again

Over priced with very small lobsters as standard. I ordered a half lobster and there was only two very small forks of meat in the tail and the claw was tiny. Burgers are nothing special. Eating with Tod’s review was a lie in my opinion.

Went for lunch with wife and 2 teenagers. Three of us had the pit boss platter, one a buffalo chicken burger. The “thick cut slices of brisket” were so thin they might have been through a bacon slicer. Burnt ends, spare ribs and chicken thighs were dry - there were only 2 spare ribs in a platter for 3. The pulled pork wasn’t bad. The truffled mac n cheese had no flavour whatsoever, let alone truffle. The portion of fries was minuscule. The beans were good. The buffalo burger was also dry. Nothing had and smoke flavour or smoke ring. Really disappointed, as I’ve had many good meals at Bodeans over the years. Felt like £142 for reheated leftovers.

Standard Temper chips were lovely. I get that steak is pricey but a lot of gristle when paying by weight however on the positive side steak tasted great and cooked just right. Salad is expensive and not that special, had I thought about it I could have smuggled in a mixed bag from a local supermarket. Service was average, lady was bubbly enough but waiter was maybe lacking confidence and experience. Nice location but overall imo expensive for what you get.
