Extremely Disappointed and Outraged by the Disrespect I Witnessed – DO BETTER, FIVE GUYS PICCADILLY CIRCUS. I usually don’t take the time to write long reviews, but what I witnessed at this Five Guys location on 23rd April 2025, around 5 PM in the evening, was so disgraceful and disturbing that I feel compelled to speak up. While I was visiting the store, a delivery driver came in to pick up an order. The driver politely asked the staff for the complimentary peanuts — something the customer had specifically requested. It was a simple and respectful request made on behalf of someone who had placed a paid order. The driver was not rude or confrontational in any way. He was just doing his job and trying to satisfy the customer. What happened next was absolutely unacceptable. One of the staff members — an Asian male — responded in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner. He belittled the driver, spoke down to him, and made him feel unwelcome in front of customers. Instead of addressing the situation with professionalism, he chose to insult someone who was just trying to do their job. To make matters worse, a black male security guard physically pushed the driver out of the store. The driver didn’t raise his voice or cause any disruption, yet he was forcibly removed like he was a threat. It was completely uncalled for, aggressive, and deeply humiliating. I watched this unfold in disbelief. This is not how anyone should be treated — especially someone who is working hard in a demanding job like food delivery. What I saw on 23rd April wasn’t just poor customer service — it was bullying, disrespect, and a total lack of human compassion. I’ve never seen a delivery driver — or any worker — treated with such open contempt. It left a really bad taste in my mouth and ruined the entire experience for me. Five Guys, you need to take a hard look at your staff and how they’re trained. There needs to be accountability for this kind of behavior. That delivery driver deserved respect, not humiliation. Your staff should know how to treat people with basic decency, especially those helping to keep your business running. This was not just rude — it was shameful. To anyone thinking of visiting this branch — be aware. If this is how they treat working-class individuals trying to earn a living, it’s a reflection of a toxic culture that shouldn’t be tolerated anywhere. I hope this review reaches management and something is done about it — because what I saw was simply disgusting.

On 23rd April 2025, around 5 PM, I arrived at Five Guys Piccadilly Circus to collect an order for a customer. The customer had specifically requested the complimentary peanuts that are usually available in-store, so I simply asked the staff if I could include them with the delivery. I was calm, polite, and respectful — just trying to do my job the right way. To my shock, one of the staff members — an Asian men — responded with open hostility. Instead of replying professionally, he started insulting me, treating me like I was asking for something outrageous. His tone was condescending and disrespectful, as if I didn’t deserve to be in the store at all. I was just representing the customer — and for that, I was spoken to like I was worthless. What made things even worse was what happened next. A black male security guard came over and physically pushed me out of the store. I wasn’t aggressive. I wasn’t causing any disturbance. I was just standing there trying to do my job. But I was shoved out in front of everyone, humiliated and treated like I was a threat for no reason whatsoever. I’ve been doing deliveries for a long time, and I’ve never experienced something this degrading. I work hard. I treat everyone with respect. And in return, I was treated like garbage by people who clearly have no understanding of decency or professionalism. Five Guys — this is unacceptable. If this is how you treat people who support your business by delivering your food to customers, then it says everything about the values you promote. This wasn’t just about a bag of peanuts — it was about respect, or the complete lack of it. The staff involved should be held accountable. No worker deserves to be treated the way I was treated. To anyone reading this — if you care about human dignity and basic fairness, please think twice before supporting this location. What happened to me shouldn’t happen to anyone.

I think it is a really nice place. A little expensive but you get what you pay for. The hamburger is large and has a lot of vegetables and two pieces of meat. I would definitely go there again.

Fast food restaurant chain in London, UK The biggest feature here is that you can customize your burgers You can mix and match your favorite flavors for free with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, mushrooms, green peppers, grilled onions, jalapenos, hot sauce, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and more Coca-Cola drink machines also offer free refills No wonder there are still so many young people gathering even though the price is a little higher. A small reminder is that the toilet is on the second floor It will be a little hard if you have limited mobility.

A little expensive, but better quality than McDonald's and Burger King

Very busy but good fast food a bit expensive.

We went at noon to eat and everything was delicious 🥰 There is a baby changing table in the disabled bathroom, but you have to ask for the key at the bar. There was a girl who spoke Spanish and she helped us a lot.

Service was great was fast ! Had plenty of seating ! Cleaning staff were helpful especially cause I was struggling to carry everything and dropping my sauce everywhere he helped get me new ones :) place looked clean even though it was super busy!! Food and drink lovely.we love a five guys

A place that never fails to make a “quick” meal and continue the Day. I say quick in quotes because the truth is we have waited a long time for two hotdogs. There are several functioning boxes but the food delivery time leaves something to be desired. The tables are emptying quickly, luckily we were able to wait seated. The quality is the same as always, the prices are similar but comparable to London. If you are not in a hurry, recommended.

Dry hamburgers, which is the main food.

Paying almost £16 for a burger and a bottle of water feels like a bit of a rip-off. The burger is undoubtedly great and spot on, but that still doesn’t justify the price

Super hamburger, chips different from classic fast food but still of excellent quality. Free refill of drinks with a lot of choice including different flavors of coca cola and fanta. Sauces and condiments always available.

Five Guys very busy, a little messy, but great for food which is what matters. Two cheeseburgers with the best fries ever. They have self-service peanuts available and the drinks are all refilled.

Security guys really don’t need to be as rude as they are.. is not a prison, is a food place

Excellent for a quick affordable pre theatre meal! I always order the ‘littles’ at 5 Guys - and still so much food. Remember to add lots of sauce to your burger though as they do come up a bit dry if you don’t. And Don’t miss out on the Oreo milkshake!!!!!!

Usual yumminess but have to give a BIG shout out to Diana who served me behind the counter at 1225 on 24.3.25 (order 91). One of the happiest, warmest and friendliest staff in the whole of London. The volume and pace of such fast food places usually means service is efficient but not usually friendly. But Diana was exemplary in her service. What a lovely staff member!

Situated at one of the busiest areas in London. There are many theatres nearby. A good choice when you want to have a quick dinner before a musical.

Far too many fries to eat ( a regular between 2 , but still too many). Excellent burgers and a playlist I know ( so far Rush, Goldfinger, Fall out boy) and they sell Brooklyn Lager which is my favourite. And of course the free nuts.

It’s getting a friend to visit five guys every time we are in a big city and we love smash burgers and french fries. We also love the soda where we can select freely from what taste and we make it a soda party every time we are at the five guys.

Worst Five Guys I have ever been to. You can really feel the difference when it's run by people who clearly don't care. Kitchen was a mess, slow compared to other chains.

His problem is modifying and repairing the streets and inconvenience

Very disappointed on our side. We went there in view of the very good reviews shared but it was a (big) disappointment. The person who served us was very friendly and the room was clean but the burgers were ordinary... we may have missed something but there is no menu, everything is separate. There are 4 of us and we each took 4 burgers + fries + drinks and we got it for 75 pounds sterling!!! It is clear that the price/quality ratio is really not good. Oh yes, if you take fries you have 3 quantities (small, medium and large), we took medium and we ended up with a huge bag of fries!!! I advise you to take small ones ^^

Today's experience at Piccadilly Circus Five Guys was not the best. Service and atmosphere was exactly as expected. However, the burger was uncharacteristically dry as were the fries.

Unfortunately, my experience at this location was terrible. I ordered a burger and, although it seemed well prepared at the time, I ended up having a terrible night. I had to vomit everything I ate, which makes me think that the meat or some ingredient was spoiled. It is unacceptable that something like this happens in a place where hygiene and quality should be a priority. I do not recommend this place and I definitely will not return.

I ordered for 2 people and it was over £40. And there’s a sign that said “inexpensive but tasty” which is not accurate. The worker just threw our chips in the bag without even trying to be presentable when we started eating the burger had no taste as-well as the chips. Some of the chips didn’t even taste cooked. After we ate my tummy started hurting a lot and made me feel sick. I don’t recommend eating here. And I will never be coming back

First of all the staff looked like walking zombies, still half asleep. The guy that was preparing the bags to serve just threw the chips in the bag mixed with the napkins and the burgers. The burgers were greasy and tasteless. I know times are hard but common add some seasoning in them burgers. The only thing that had taste was the water and even that was almost £3 a bottle. Spent £40 for 2 people to eat and definitely not worth it.

I haven't eaten any of these Hamburgers, which are located in the central and very lively Piccadilly Circus, but it is said everywhere that this place is a popular place.

I write this comment to warn those new to Five Guys like me that time. The system is not like at McDonalds or Burger 👑, but you choose a basic burger, with cheese or bacon and you add ingredients called "toppings" which name confused me when ordering. I don't give it a 0 because it was my fault but it gets a 4/10 because the atmosphere was terrible, everything was quite dirty and the price was not reasonable for the quality of the burger.

Five Guys offers tasty and customizable burgers with fresh ingredients, accompanied by generous homemade fries. However, everything is sold separately (burger, fries, drink), which makes the bill quite expensive for fast food. A good option for quality lovers.

Very fast service although usually crowded. Lots of seating inside. Peanuts are always awesome. Don’t make the same mistake as us and order so many fries. The large portion is prolly enough for a 2-3 people. All in all a very good experience for such a tourist spot.

The classic five guys burgers, fries and milkshakes, nothing very relevant. Regarding the service and place I have no complaints, we went at closing time and 20 minutes before it approaches I think it is the manager to inform you that they are going to close, without running away or being rude which I consider very important for a fast food restaurant closing time.

Five guys definitely raises the bar for burgers and although here in CDMX we have excellent options, honestly none of them equal five guys.

Fast delicious and always the same as you imagined

Las deliciosas hamburguesas de siempre con una cordial atención en un local muy concurrido pero amplio, con mesas en 2 pisos y constante limpieza de los empleados. Dice guys no es barato como otras hamburgueserías, pero vale la pena. Gastamos unas 40 libras en 2 hamburguesas, unas papas y 2 gaseosas con refill gratis.

The experience in a Five Guys is always a happy one. I love the freedom you can have with condiments for the burgers and personalizing your milkshakes! Our attendant Mujaahig especially was super helpful and efficient with his exceptional service!

Five guys - i must have been multiple branches… Piccadilly branch has something unique about it. Food: the burgers are uhhhmaazingg! Milkshakes: next level f-uhhmazinggggg!!!! Fries: they are tasty too - super crunchy each time… PS: never had a chance to click anything as I was always eagerly waiting for my order 😅 - this time clicked photos of the restaurant and the milkshake but again forgot about the burger as i just hogged mine. 🙈

The burger Pattie was just falling apart. Asked for onions, I hardly found any in the burger. The chips were absolutely awful. I was given the oil soaked crumbly bits of chips. It might be the chips (were not warm)were not fresh. It’s supposed to be hand cut chips fresh but not on this occasion absolutely awful experience over £16, And McDonald’s chips is much better. I will never ever be going back.

I tend not to visit Five Guys due to the cost, but it was worthy of a visit while I was on a holiday and budget was out of scope. The location was perfect, the food was made quickly, and had adequate seating. Best part, the toilets we're accessible at the time visited (peak time in evening). I'll say this, if you want a good quality burger and plentiful serving of fries, I'd encourage visiting on your trip in London (or if you're out of ideas for food)

Everything was great but I have One comment, the staff took away the peanuts early. Around one hour before closing time. But to be honest when we asked for it they brought us some.

Honestly one of the most enjoyable experiences with fast-food I've ever had. The guy at the register was very patient and understanding, we got served very quickly and the price/quality ratio was amazing. Very pleasantly surprised, keep it up!

Bad service. I am waiting for my order from last 10 min and when I ask a employee of five guys about my order he told me that I already give that order. I said I am standing here how it is possible that I got my order. He is very rude a person working in giving order with glasses.

I was expecting something much better, especially for the price. Decent food but nothing to be proud of trying. Its only worth it if you want a fully customized burger. While the fries were a very generous portion, the "spicy fries" were just springled with chilli sauce. I would not really call them great, but were fried well. Burger is pretty good compared to alternatives like Mcdonalds, but much pricier.

Don’t advertise close time if you send people away before that time.

Absolutely tasteless food for a normal European. The only plus is that you can refill your drink for free.

5 Guys is great if you are starving or find your self rather drunk..... They're better than average burgers and fillings of your choice are, greasy enough to soak up any excess of alchhol and, they are better than that other place with a Scottish name. The decor is without doubt the worst I have ever witnessed ever, anywhere, unless you like the colour Red and think white compliments it quite nicely. Better to wear shades to block the view out and so no one you know sees you there. Very loud Rock music, not of your own choice, ensures you don't stick around too long.

A place to grab a quick bite to eat and then take advantage of the time to visit London
