Another late night place that thinks it’s a “gem” but in reality is a badly run dump. 15 minutes waiting to be served to be told no food. Avoid. Dreadful.

Lovely place! I visited my friends from Belgium this past week and decided to enjoy the Thames at Richmond. One of my best decision in London, what a place that was! Alexis was really helpful even with the rain, the wine and the food recommandations. I’d really love coming back. Thank you and especially Alexis for this brilliant brunch!

Visited for some brunch and were seated at the bar as it was very busy. This was fine apart from the fact the door catches on the carpet and so is prevented from closing. As we were sat directly opposite the door it meant we were frequently met with blasts of cold wind and had to keep getting up to shut the door - avoid sitting at the bar if the cold affects you.Food was ok. We had avocado royale, which was nothing special. The hollandaise sauce is tasteless. Wouldn't go back.

Great friendly and efficient staff. This place is great for food and drinks all at reasonable prices.Although the food menu is limited there is sufficient choices for all tastes.,and the drinks menu is vast.We had burgers which were great.

Quickly seated and served by pleasant staff. Extensive choice of food and drink without being overkill. Food arrived quickly and tasted fantastic. Lovely find!

I came with my friends last Friday. Honestly that was my first Time in Soho. I dont regret that since I sat down. The waitress who was serving as was amazing. She made this evening very special. Her knowledge about drinks and coctails was impressive. I ordered oldfashion and for my main steak. I was in shock how good quality of food I got for this price. Nice atmosfere and very friendly staff. I wanted to say special thank you to Alicja. She couldnt make our evening better. Definitely we will return soon

Fuimos a J + R en Wardour Street para celebrar un cumpleaños familiar. Le sugerí que había disfrutado el uno al otro lado de la ciudad en la ciudad. Sin embargo, esta ofreció una experiencia completamente diferente y muy decepcionante. This is a a busy place but, despite the lack of a reservation, they were able to fit us in at the bar for a late brunch. Friendly service, excellent food and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Nice staff and very good bar Chairs. We wanted to have drinks and be able to talk without too much noise, and this Place was suitable for this purpose.. The restrooms are Down in the basement and difficult to find.

Visited this place for brunch on a Saturday. It was busy but we were greeted with a warm welcome and asked if we could wait two minutes while the table was refreshed. Service was very attentive. Water was served promptly as were the coffees. One of us had a hamburger with fries and the other butter milk pancakes with bacon, berries and maple syrup. Both went down a treat. Reasonable price for the area and the decor itself was more upmarket industrial. Try this out if you are in the area.

I’ve been here for lunch before and thought it was ok. Went for a work breakfast this week and it was brilliant. There isn’t much veggie food on the menu but they were very accompdating

Was walking about soho when we stopped at this restaurant. The menu is very generic Morden European. We had a steak mash potatoes and chocolate Sunday but everything was very average. Service was very forgetful. What would you like ? That was about just how much our waiter spoke to us

Visited on a Wednesday evening. Well located in Soho. Friendly attentive staff. Nice range on the menu and had the salmon fillet. Nicely presented and tasty.

i've been to jackson + rye a couple of times now and i have to say they deliver in all fronts! first off, the menu is super diverse and yet every dish you try is at least good (even if you're talking about completely different cuisines at times). the ambiance is amazing, cosy but at the same time vibrant and the service is second to none!! and i'm still forgetting to mention the great drinks they prepare, the amazing price/quality ratio and their banana split (don't forget to order it!! it's AMAZING). it's a place that's definitely worth a visit!

Locale molto frequentato e di tendenza, curato nei minimi dettagli e dall'atmosfera molto giovane e londinese, un posto veramente piacevole dove mangiare. Per il mio brunch ho ordinato pancake con sciroppo d'acero, bacon e mirtilli: un abbinamento che detto così potrebbe far storcere il naso, ma che in realtà si è dimostrato vincente. Unica pecca: il pancake era piuttosto secco.

Walked into here and waited 25 minutes for a table with a beer and a wine at the bar. We tried flat iron first but they had 1hr waiting time. This was 100% better than what any others would’ve been, tried Goodmans Mayfair for steak and spent £400, tried this and spent £140 for a feast!!! Steak was 10x better and service was great, and this place doesn’t even specialise in steak!!! Was just somewhere for us to eat after walking all day but turned out lovely. 5 stars 100 percent. PS, if you’re feeling adventurous try the Ferrero Roche shot, wow!

Arrived without booking and really happy to accommodate, service was top notch with excellent choice and quality of food.All the waiters/waitress were polite and friendly to our needs.we were a party of three and all came away happy and full.Will definitely eat here again

Food and drinks were simply delicious - I recommend the duck salad and raspberry & white chocolate crème brûlée as well as the Ferrero liquor shot On top of this, the staff there is absolutely incredible and made our night truly enjoyable. I would also like to make a special recommendation for Pedro who attended our table that evening and did an honestly outstanding job. He managed to squeeze our party of 7 at the last minute and was incredibly helpful and serviable the entire night. He made the greatest recommendations for wine and cocktails depending on everyone preferences and menu picks (I particularly want to thank him for making me try the Breakfast Hour cocktail, my views on whisky-based drinks have been completely change since then), and kept the service quick and efficient despite how tumultuous our group was when it came to ordering.So everyone, go there, ask for Pedro, and get ready for an absolutely delightful dinner in the middle of Soho!

Stumbled upon here after wanting to go the breakfast club but the queue being too long! I asked them if they had any vegan options on the menu and they said no but we’re very willing to make something for me! I found the breakfast most suited then swapped the halloumi and egg for another mushroom and extra avocado. The food was lovely, real good quality and a very reasonable price (average of £8 for a full meal from the breakfast menu), would recommend!

Many cocktail choice not the very creative one but basic one suitable for travellers and cocktail beginners to experience some traditional ones. Most cocktails prices below 9 pounds so considered as quite reasonable.

Jackson & Rye were able to accommodate a group of 19 for breakfast - they did suggest we order in advance if we were time-restricted. Food was great and very well presented, service very good and it was good value for money. Would go there again.

We went based on recommendations - however were disappointed by the quality of both service and food. The poached eggs and bacon were cold, the avocado hard and only cut in half with eggs on top - hence the presentation was boring. The buttermilk pancakes were good. One of the servers was interrupting conversation in a clipped manner and seemed to stressed to provide good service - she didn’t make us feel wanted or welcome as costumers. We shipped the extra cup of coffee and left. So sadly an less then average experience.

Vi spiste brunch i Jackson & Rye, og vi var meget skuffede. Vi fik kolde pourcherede æg, bacon var kold og kedelig og så ud til at blive lavet dagen før. Betjeningen var heller ikke i top. Generelt var det en skuffende oplevelse, dårlig kvalitet, særligt når man tager prisen i betragtning.

Since organising a brunch party for over 10 people in London at the last minute is a bit of a nightmare, this place was great in that we managed to book a large table in their basement, and they didn't make a fuss when we sneakily added two or three more people to the table. My order of poached eggs on avocado was tasty, but a little small portion-wise and could have done with a side salad or something. The banana pancakes were out of this world and I ate them up in two seconds. It was a shame they didn't offer Mimosas by the jug as we were all in a festive mood, and service was a little slow and confused (the table next door was seated after us but got their food first), and we would have preferred being seated upstairs where there was more of an atmosphere and natural light. but all in all, it did its bit in helping us all get together for a quality brunch.

Stumbled on this place after refusing to wait 45 months mins to 1 hour at Randall & Aubin. Had pate and lamb, husband had jumbo prawns and sea bass . Nice bottle of wine, good atmosphere and reasonably priced.

We went to this restaurant with a large family group (19 of us plus a toddler!) on Saturday lunchtime. We had prebooked and preordered and we all agreed that this was the perfect venue for a mixed age group offering lots of choice and very good value. We were seated in a downstairs room with just a few other diners so it felt quite private. What was brilliant was the service! Charming, unobtrusive and very efficient, we were all very impressed. Thank you Jackson & Rye for making this a great occasion!

Had an amazing Bavette steak in London. Was very good. Peppercorn sauce made it. Service was awesome! Try to sit downstairs.

I started with bread to start with. It was soft, warm and doughy. If my wife had been there, she would have skipped the main course and had more bread !I had the cheap cut of steak, because it was a work expense. It was still well presented in slices and tasted great. The Bordeux was an excellent complement.

This place serves brunch to 4pm on a Saturday, we fancied brunch not lunch & it grabbed our attention as we walked by. Great vibe & lovely menu serving a wide variety of brunch, very reasonably priced. We were seated really quickly despite no reservation & service was fast & attentive. Enjoyed Bellini's and smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, endless tea, coffee etc etc. Just lovely. Very cool American bar type atmos. Give it a go...

I have visited Jackson & Rye a number of times for breakfast/brunch and have always been very satisfied. There is a good selection of standard dishes, as well as some more interesting options for those wanting something different. I usually go for the “avocado royale” and would recommend it. Another draw of this venue is its drinks. There are a number of fresh juices and a variety of coffee options, including “hand drip” (pour your own filter). I usually opt for a flat white, which is at the standard of a standard London artisan coffee shop and hence very enjoyable.If you are looking for a new brunch venue to try and/or don’t want to queue at The Breakfast Club round the corner, look no further.

I have been twice with my friends to this restaurant for breakfast. A nice menu cart and great food. Friendly staff and nice environment. The only thing was that the payment took bit long otherwise it was 5 stars.

Had a late saturday morning brunch here before a theatre matinee. It is very popular, you need to book.Prices are good for brunch in a central London location.Staff attentive and food very good - recommend the Forester brunch for vegetarians!Noise levels out the back are high - if there are only two of you, try and sit at the front, it looked nicer.

Steak was amazing, we did not want our meal to end it was that tasty. We did not have a reservation but were given a table for 2 on a busy Saturday night quickly. Staff very attentive and nice. Highly recommend

We had just been at the theater and wanted to go out and have dinner. Just around the corner is Jackson + Rye and they serve great sir tenderloins. Meat was great and so were all our side orders. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Music was a bit high and it was quite dark in the room, but that was not a problem

Lovely Soho restaurant / bar with a good selection of food and great choice of whiskeys. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Perfect for a relaxed evening out.

Visited here with a friend a few weeks ago and was very happy with our experience. The food was really tasty. We shared a couple of starters, the crunchy chorizo prawns and the hush puppies - both really tasty. For the main, I had the shrimp burger with sweet potato fries which I really enjoyed. We had a nice bottle of wine to go with it and all in a all it was a very tasty meal and at a good price considering the location. I'll be back for sure.

I’d recommend the place for breakfast. Especially the Huevos Rancheros was quite tasty. Staff is welcoming.

After walking around Soho shops we spotted this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The menu was appealing and whilst we did not have plans to visit a show we took advantage of the pre dinner menu. The waiter was pleasant and informative and a little tip is to go for the tap water not bottled. I ordered the hamburger and my good lady ordered the sea bass plus a nice glass of red for £12.95 each. As you would expect the food was excellent but perhaps a little less than required if your only taking a main course. They do add an optional service charge of 12.5% which is not unusual in this area. All in all the meal was good value for money, service was super and food lovely.

I mean you can’t really complain about the price. Average main course was about £12 but the service was terrible. Food was really late arriving. It was cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen. Shame because the setting is good and it hasn’t always been like this. It’s not like it was busy - It’s a Wednesday night.

What a great find this was! We were in the area to go to the palace theatre and with what can only be described as a stonking hangover, a bit of googling lead us to this place. The staff we're very welcoming, the food hit the spot and the brunch cocktails were a welcome hair of the dog. My friend and I both had the huevos rancheros and she said it was the best breakfast she had ever had! Would definitely recommend.

Had breakfast in Soho before starting on our shopping trip in central london. This place is great for a wonderful breakfast. Service was excellent and fast. Food was top notch as always. The `farmers breakfast was excellent and my partner really enjoyed it - she isn’t normally one for a full English type breakfast but the ingredients and quality were superb and she loved it. I had the advocacy benedict with salmon- absolutely yummy! The fresh healthy juices are good value. You must visit here when in London.

We found Jackson and Rye by just walking around. It was my nephew’s birthday and our first night in London, so we wanted something good and special. Jackson and Rye delivered. The food was excellent.

Stopped here for brunch ,service second to none. Very professional . Really good choice on menu . Very quick service. When food arrived it was very tasty and very resonably priced. Would definitely recommend and will definitely visit again.

I have been eating here for years - usually I eat alone at the counter - and the staff and food are always very, very good (I have the vegetarian Forager breakfast). Menu is varied, staff polite, atmosphere is busy but enjoyable. It's right in he heart of Soho so easily reached. The restaurant section in the back can be a little noisy when busy (I have eaten there with friends on occasions), but then, this is Soho, so it will always be busy. You can book, it's usually very busy at weekends for breakfast and brunch, but booking is easy, and I almost always get a table when just walking in off the street.

Popped in around 4 and the Brunch menu was available. The restaurant itself had a very nice homely decor, felt like a traditional pub restaurant. The wait staff were pleasant and efficient. The drinks and food were well priced. My husband had the chicken burger and fries which he enjoyed , plenty of chicken and I had the warm chicken and advocaco salad, again plenty of chicken, it would have benefited from slightly more dressing other than that it was pleasant enough. Overall well placed, priced place to go.

We booked a late night dinner for after the Theatre and were pleasantly surprised with the delightful food, but more importantly by the magnificent service we received from the whole staff. Despite being entitled to 2 courses and a glass of Prosecco, we were offered an extra glass of wine each and a delicious dessert to share as well. All delivered with a smile by a very efficient and courteous staff. Many thanks for making our night so special!

We booked a pre theatre dinner at Jackson +Rye, arrived on time and warmly greeted and shown to a reserved table the window, great for people watching. The wine included in the set menu was excellent , which matched the food served in a timely manner. The service was polite and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely visit this restaurant again, as it was a enjoyable experience.

I love this location and have visited twice this month. Once for breakfast and once for drinks after a meeting. The atmosphere is great and surprisingly good value food and drink considering the great location. I would certainly recommend booking even for breakfast

The restaurant was quiet and service swift. We were a group of 4 wanting a walk-in dinner at a reasonable price. I had prawn Linguini with a total of 6 prawns, it was tasty but a bit mean on the prawns. Every one else was satisfied. One had steak and another had chicken burger. Total was £74, including wine. A bit pricey but the food was tasty.

I had a barbecue platter with ribs. Brisket and wings which was very good. Another of our party had fillet steak also very good. A bit noisy but it’s a bar aswell so you expect that. We were all pleasantly surprised. Would go again

I've visited Jackson + Rye for brunch yesterday and I have been positively impressed by the GREAT customer service! From the very first eye contact of the host to the lovely service of our lovely waitress. The food was good but not as great as I hoped but it didn't really matter cause the outstanding service made it up! The place looks great and it very stylish, also the table are good size and it is not loud, although it was a Sunday. I would also note that their menu for a brunch is huge, and there are many options to choose from. Thank you very much for the great experience!

My mum and I did the 2 course pre set menu for 12.95 which is great value for soho. I had the salt and pepper squid to start which was delicious, but my Mums brisket croquettes weren't so good. She ordered the pasta primavera for her main, and myself the steak, but we ended up being given two steaks (one well done and one rare) but didn't have enough time to wait for the pasta to be made in order to make our show. Good value, but no real ambience and it seems to be understaffed as we had to ask for a glass of wine about 4 times.

Decidí ir por la opción de menú que ofrecía tremenda relación calidad-precio.Tuve la comida de tres platos "opción teatro" - la sopa estaba deliciosa de guisantes y Espárragos, patatas fritas bistec que de nuevo principal era perfecta y para terminar un buen viejo clásico Banana Split. Todo esto por la suma de 15 libras. 95En general, el servicio era rápido y eficiente con la comunicación suficiente para no ser molesto.Un hallazgo fantástico y una de las mejores comidas que he disfrutado en mucho tiempo.Yo volveremos pronto. My wife won a competition for a meal at Jackson & Rye. We were running late so phoned to delay for an hour which was no problem. The meal itself was superb, the ambience was brilliant and the service was excellent.

We went for brunch on a Sunday in a large group of 16 , service was amazing and the food quality was good too. Everyone enjoyed the brunch and coffee.

Had an early supper here before seeing Strictly Ballroom. Wonderful attentive staff, excellent food and very reasonably priced. Very much enjoyed the rye whiskey shot I had as a digestife !! The sal and pepper squid were to die for.

Después de dejar otros dos restaurantes debido a niveles de ruido tan alto que podía oír cada otras o ni el personal, nos quedamos aquí. Nos sentamos en la parte de atrás, donde más tranquilas, y menús rápidamente dada y el agua. Entonces esperamos lo que parece más que necesaria dado el lugar no estaba para nada cerca de capacidad. Came here for brunch and had pancakes with crispy bacon which were really nice. Nice decor and good service too and would recommend it to anyone. Would definitely come here again but next time would get something else.

We went to this place for brunch and it was great! We booked in advance online which was easy and glad we did as it was very busy! The atmosphere was great along with the food! I had the forager breakfast, my husband had the pulled pork patty and poached eggs and we got some chicken wings for the table! Everything we had was great, I would definitely go back

I ordered the burger.The food took along time to arrive and my wife’s dish had hardly any salmon so we needed to order a side plate of more. More disappointed with my burger that was raw inside. It was returned and exchanged, but by the time it arrived my wife had finished. We waited 30 minutes for our mains to arrive and when they did there was no cutlery. It took over 10 minutes for drinks to arrive on two occasions. Have been before, but will not return after this experience.

My husband and I had a celebration dinner here after a theatre trip. We had an issue with our meals and spoke with the staff privately.The staff were fantastic and very generous with a solution so I would just like to praise the customer service.

Food was fine but service charge of 12.5% was included in the final cost. I suggested to our waiter that I would put the basic cost on my card then pay a tip in cash. Waiter replied that the boss would be unhappy and would question why the customer had refused to pay the service charge in full. Didn't want to cause problems for them so paid, but very unhappy with what seems to be a rip off which benefits the management only. Do the staff receive these credit card tips?

Went there with friends for lunch. The quality of the food was good. The service was great. We have thier 2 courses set menu for lunch. Good price. I love the pumpkin soup and fish for my main. It was nice for me. My friends had the squids as her starter, she didn't like it very much as the squids did not deep fried well. As well as her fries has a funny taste. They chef must look into his cooking oils for deep frying. It seems that the oils has not been changed frequently. The rest of her meals was okay.

Met daughter for a quick lunch as her office is very nearby. Very friendly greeting and we went for the their one course meal plus a drink @£12.45 each. She chose the pumpkin soup and fresh bread and home made lemonade. I chose a chicken burger and a glass of white wine. All very good without being outstanding , no complaints mind but I have had better. The setting is a little worn but obviously popular venue. So would I go back again? Yes sure, even if for that friendly greeting and good service.

We booked this in advance thinking we were getting an offer but it was just their normal pre theatre - to be fair that wasn't J&R fault. The food was nice (steak and chips) but we were disappointed with the cramped tables and lack of space.

I came for dinner and left with such a smile!!The wait staff are attentive and the manager is very warm. The food is as you would expect from an American restaurant - delicious!!I would recommend the ribs and the banana split... Thank you for a lovely evening.
