Discreta Cucina Thai, ambiente elegante, luci soffuse, personale cordiale. Abbiamo preso un'ottima zuppa al cocco con crostacei, del pollo panato con salsa al carry e riso al jelsomino un piatto di noodles con verdura e manzo che ci avevano assicurato non fossero piccanti in realtà lo erano molto. Non è un ristorante economico valutando che le porzioni non sono abbondanti, il coperto comprende posate, tovagliolo di carta e che ti fanno accomodare al tavolo con degli estranei, noi abbiamo mangiato con 5 sconosciuti.

This restaurant has delicious food and a great ambiance, and with a £14 pre-theatre menu (for orders before 7.00pm) it can work out at a fair price too. Service was good and we were having such a lovely meal we almost forgot to head to the theatre...

Thai food just as it should be. Straight forward and full of flavour. The pre theatre offer of a small plate and main before 7pm is a bargain.

We had an early dinner before the theatre. Both me and my daughter used to like Busaba, but won't be coming back any time soon. Service was terrible, with clearly not enough people working. It's impossible to get anyone's, including managers, attention in a polite way. They call themselves vegetarian friendly, but the veggie options are very limited. Half of it was unavailable last night and nobody bothered to tell us about it, even though we waited 30 minutes to order. Also, selling broccoli leaves/chalks (side with duck) as "Asian broccoli" does not seem like a good practice. Very very disappointing.

A restaurant with a good vibe and 'nice' food, the waitress was friendly, but service was slow, frustrating and poor. We specifically asked for the 'small plates' to be served as starters, however, all food, starters and main courses were brought to the table at the same time, I suspect this is normal practise for Busaba. Obviously we had to eat our food swiftly, whilst it was warm. We had ordered a bottle of wine and a beer on arrival, the beer arrived within 5 - 10 mins, despite a reminder, the wine, was not brought until we had almost finished our food. This is not a restaurant to use for a relaxed, leisurely meal, but fine if you want a main course and maybe a glass of wine.

We booked table at our favourite restaurant and we was looked after by Nam . She was very welcoming and polite with a big smile on her face . Order was taken and we got food in les than 25 minutes was so quick and portion was really big and tasty . Would recommend this place to anyone who loves Thai food .

Nice Thai food and nothing more. We’ve ordered a Pad Thai and a rice bowl and it was very nice. It is a good place to have a quick bite.

My husband and I visited Busaba at Leicester Square on a Monday evening. The restaurant was very quiet, but we were left standing at the door for over 5 minutes whilst the staff avoided eye contact. We were just about to leave when we were approached and seated. Service was grumpy and slow, it’s a shame as the food is really good. It doesn’t seem like a very happy place to work. Maybe they had the January blues, who knows, but I won’t be rushing back.

I waited 10 minutes to be seated and then 10 minutes for someone to take our order. It was busy but not busy enough to warrant such slow service. I think they under estimated how busy it would be because it’s January. Staff were lovely, though.

I was a bit disappointed from the beginning our lunch but at the end they made my day, foods are awesome and service is okey Thanks to two Italian waiter and waitress

Appealed to the managers better side and asked if we could just come in for drinks and starters only as we didn’t have enough time before our film started over the road. The staff were excellent - we ordered as soon as we were seated; They served us startersx2 along with two/three rounds of drinks. Bent over backwards to get the calamari to us but unfortunately it didn’t get out Kitch in time. They gave us a cash refund as we were leaving as we’d paid in full earlier as the clock was ticking. Hats off to a really well ran restaurant, friendly and attentive staff, oh and ace fresh food!

Disappointing service and inconsistent flavors. Messed up our order from the start and had to ask 2 times for the correct food. When everything arrived still didn’t receive one of the items ordered. Overall the food was good but the curry taste different than before. We come to Busaba quite often and have even eaten here before. Not sure what’s up but we are gonna skip this place next time.

Ci sono diversi Busaba a Londra, simili nell’atmosfera accogliente e moderna. Capita di sedersi con altri si grandi tavoli quadrati il che facilita la convivialità. La cucina è Thai a partire dal classico pad-thai con gamberi, verdure e udon. Molto buono. Il menù spazia da piatti di pesce a pollo o maiale è c’è scelta per ogni gusto. Prezzo medio.

Lovely food and nice atmosphere with big, sharing tables. Service was good, location just off Leicester Square, ideal for post cinema meal.

Wonderful vibe when we walked in and decor just great but eek the service and food was so disappointing. I think the staff are trained to avoid eye contact. One dish we had was a Thai green curry but it’s so dry as on the rice and to much rice. Pad Thai also so dry. Service was also pretty dry. Certainly wouldn’t have paid the discretionary service charge by choice!

food is great but the line is too long. waitress are friendly and the place is clean. All I can think about negative on this restaurant is the serving are too small.

Visited this branch of the very successful Busaba chain for lunch. The food was tasty, as you would expect from Busaba, and the price point was reasonable, with a lunch deal.

The restaurant looks amazing, nice atmosphere and great decor but for food mmmmm not excellent padi thai tasteless the checken in green cury taste wired sorry to say that but I don’t recommend it

Really nicely designed contemporary Thai restaurant with communal tables. We had the shrimp pad thai and the chicken pad thai. My friend and I always say we judge a thai restaurant by the pad thai and this was great! Not too greasy, nice white meat chicken and just the right amount of sweet and spice.

Three of us went last night all choose the Thai Green Chicken Curry - and all found the lack of chicken disappointing. We have been before and had lovely ample food but this time only 3 or 4 little bits of chicken - seemed like one chicken breast share between us. The flavour and taste was lovely, fine friendly service just seem to have lost it on the portion size. Will we go again probably not as there are other Thai restaurant available which are probably cheaper and give you more.

We enjoyed this very much, we had a few little plates, the duck wings were amazing! The texture of the fish cakes weren’t great, hence the 4 out of 5. Book to avoid disappointment.

I had dinner at Busaba in Panton Street this week and I have just one thing to say about it. The Yam Pac Crispy Soya was simply divine.

Simply putting it, it's not thai food! Missing essential ingredients of a thai cuisine i.e. taste, smell and spice.

Where do I start, went to this restaurant last night very nice decor and very friendly people. Coming from a person who works in a hotel and is a chef I found it weird that they don’t have much allergies on there menu, my partner was gluten-free and the waiter had to get a manger to go through the menu which I think a waiter should know the menu. Still the food was fantastic I had the duck breast it was so tender and the sauce was to die for. Big props on that. When we visit London again I shall be calling in again

Busaba was just around the corner from our hotel which made it very convenient for our final night there. The food was amazing! I ordered the pad thai and was no disappointed. My husband had the ginger beef which he loved. The serving sizes were perfect, we left leaving full but not over full. I would happily go again if given the chance to visit London again.

Lack of atmosphere. No warm welcome. Staff seemed busy and uninterested. Just ok. Wouldn’t return. Their Covent Garden restaurant is a million times better when we dined there last week.

Location suggestiva a pochi passi dalla centralissima Piccadilly Circus. Arredato in stile orientale con grande classe. Servizio un po’ spartano per i miei gusti. Menù thai molto vario con qualità medio alta (attenzione alcuni piatti sono molto speziati, chiedete). Conto in linea con i prezzi di Londra, antipasto, piatto principale e contorno 24 pound.

This is an attractive branch of this chain but the quality has gone steadily downhill of late.Our visit tonight will be our last for a while. The new version of the calamari starter is not nearly as good as the previous one. My jungle curry had rather unpleasant soft, soggy chicken and my partner's main was not particularly good either. Service was pretty poor. Upon entering, the waitress made us sit on a bench near the door and then asked the assembled group who had arrived first - surely it was her job to have to have noted this. When we ordered, the food arrived fairly promptly but no drinks arrived. When I went to find the waitress, she explained there was only one barman and he was "behind" with the drinks. The drinks eventually arrived when we were halfway through our meal. Our bill too took a long time to arrive. The restaurant seemed understaffed. Busaba's prices have crept up too, which would be fine if the food and service were comparable to other equivalent Thai restaurants but I'm afraid to say you can find much better Thai food in London for the same price or less. Given the level of service, the 12.5% automatic service seemed a bit of a cheek.

ビジネス仲間で行きました。現地のメンバーに近くに美味しい店ない？と聞くとこちらの店に連れて行ってくれました。各々ビールと料理を注文しましたが、皆美味しいと行っていました。間違いない店だと思います。

It’s always the same at busaba Leicester Square. GREAT food and outstanding friendly service. Thanks to Amel who helped us both to try something new, listened to what we like and made the perfect choices. Looking forward to coming back soon :)

As usual the place was full, however the service was prompt and food was very delicious,we ordered tom tam goong soup, spicy seafood noodles and vegetarian green curry, food was little bed spicy as we ordered and we enjoyed all of them

Anoche fui a Busaba con un par de amigos. Pedí los rollitos de primavera y el curry verde. Toda la comida llegó a la vez en menos de 5 minutos, que no es lo que queríamos como una oportunidad para conversar de antemano y entre los cursos.

When I was looking for a dinner place around the busy and super touristy Leicester Square, just before going to the cinema, I found Thai restaurant Busaba on a blog, listed as not touristy place to go.

This is by far the best place I have eaten anywhere. The food was tasty and the service was impeccable. The calamari is the best thing and all the entrees were also very well seasoned and yummy. Will come back again!!!

Went to the Busaba as we were going to the Harold Pinter Theatre which was a one minute walk down the road. The pre-theatre dinner was only £14 for two courses which was fantastic value right on top of Leicester Square.

Busaba may be a chain but it does really good Thai food at a reasonable price.

We enjoyed a pre-theatre meal here last night. The food and service was excellent with a special thanks to Nam who was so friendly and efficient and she made sure we got our food in time in order to make our show!

Came here for dinner prior to watching a theatre show, and we ordered off the Pre-Theatre menu. We ordered the chilli prawns, spring rolls, chicken wings, and pad thai jay. The atmosphere and ambience in the restaurant is lovely, and we got a lovely table looking outside. The vegetarian pad thai was nice, as were the spring rolls, but was a bit disappointed with the chilli prawns dish. Felt some of the spices were a bit too overpowering. Would be back again to try something different.

Excellent food and service at a reasonable price. Food served quickly which is good when you are looking to grab a meal before a show.

Such a disappointment. I eat at other branches of this usually good Thai restaurant. I was there this weekend and it was a catalogue of poor service and a 'can't be bothered' attitude. AVOID. Examples include:

The service was great! Abel was the server. The food was Great and served in a timely manner if you are going to a show! The Shiraz wine was a good choice and went well with the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Visited mid week for dinner before the theatre. Restaurant was quiet when we arrived. Service varies from the super attentive new start with his scripted Qs to the been here too long & don’t care so much crew. Food is relatively good. There is a pre theatre menu, but went with the main. Recommend the pad Thai & spicy prawn crackers.

The food was very nice and different but there wasnt drinks menu on the table and we ordered a bottle of sauvignon wine which normally everywhere else cost about £15. Noone said how much was it then to surprise in the bill it costed £33.50! and it wasnt the best one was actually not that nice one :(. Also service charge of 12.5% is added to the bill so be prepared. So for a normal lunch for 2 people we paid £96 in total. Hmm I will think next time if I can afford to go there :(

Simply the best Thai calamari and Ben after 4 years since the last time I’ve tried them.. they are still delicious as it used to be. Service was good and prices are good as well

Went for dinner with my friend on Sunday and was very impressed of the service.The last time I went the service quality was very low but thought will give it another go since we like the food.Our waiter(Spanish guy)was very professional,attentive and friendly.Honestly though we are in a 5 stars restaurant.The quality service definitely has increased since I was there last!Gracias

My fav food in busaba is green curry, I knew the paste they make it and ask specially one company in Thailand only for busaba, thts why until this time, the paste curry (green, jungle, masaman) only have in busaba.

A key ingredient of a Thai Green Chicken Curry, you would think, is chicken. My bowl contained two, very small pieces of chicken. The rest of the bowl was vegetables. I spoke to a waiter who said he wasn't able to do anything that I speak to a manger or supervisor. It is a shame that a waiter does not seem to have autonomy to sort this issue out.

We know well busaba. Always great quality of delicious food. Never take the same trying to get to.know all dishes. This particular one was very efficient since we did not have lot of time prior to show I theatre waiting staff made sure we were at time and enjoying our meal. You should definItely try their squid starters. Amazing!

They have changed their menu slightly and now offer a theatre menu at this restaurant between 4 and 7 and it’s great to go to prior to the theatre or nearby cinemas. The food always comes out quickly.

My husband and I love Thai food so we were eager to try this place. Had the Pad Thai, very fresh and not as heavy as some Thai restaurants make it. Service was fast and friendly. The edamame beans were a but soggy but would go back to try other dishes.

Ate here on a whim with my girlfriend and we were over joyed at how good the food was. We ordered the crispy duck noodles and they were amazing!!! The best duck I have ever eaten!!! The noodles were great as well and our side diah of chicken satay skewers was also devine!!! I would highly recommend checking this place out!! I will be returning thats for sure!!!

The food and service were great. We had fried calamari, fish, salads, and the classic nodules with calamari. We enjoyed it a lot. We did not order desserts.

This is a great Thai eatery..It is a busy place but there is always room for YOU..the staff have a sense of humour ..The Food is excellent..But..Don’t forget the c/c..you will need it..all the best things in life are not free..

Sin embargo, el lugar era tan increíblemente ruidoso que estuve en un pub lleno de gente y estaba más tranquilo. . El servicio fue educado y la comida salió bastante rápido. Sin embargo, una vez que la comida estaba fuera, parecía que éramos invisibles. Se sentó con los vasos vacíos por un tiempo bastante largo sin ningún tipo de revisión o posibilidad de volver a hacerlo.

Busaba was so delicious! We were one of the first ones there right when they opened and had great food, fast service and an overall wonderful experience.

I had a £5 discount voucher, when I presented it to the waitress she said that I had to wait a long time because the manager was very busy, I said “fine I wait”.

Very good service, great food, nice atmosphere. This is the second time we have dinner here, we traveled from Mexico City to London and we were absolutely excited about getting there ASAP to enjoy your delicious curry recipes. This was a very disappointing visit to Busaba. For a party of one I didn't expect my order to take 45 minutes to come. The pad thai was embarrassingly poor quality and contained two tasteless prawns. Just a huge pile of watery noodles and beansprouts. The calamari were good. Both had gone up in price and my meal came to £22 for one. Absolutely terrible value for money and I can cook more tasty and authentic pad thai at home for half the money. I will not be eating here again.

Walked past and liked the look of this place! Really nice atmosphere and great how they put people on large tables with other groups of people ! Very reasonable prices for the area and quick service. Would recommend to book table to avoid waiting.

I have been coming to this chain since it’s early days. Thou it’s no longer as good as it was, we decided to visit this branch as it was central for us

The restaurant was not busy when we went, the tables are designed to seat other diners with you. We ordered Chicken Satay, Chicken Wings, Chicken Pad Thai and Thai Green Curry. The starters were ok but the main course was terrible, the Pad Thai had 2 minuscules of chicken and so bland it had no taste at all. The Green Curry did not taste any better bland and char-grilled chicken placed on the top. Not what we expected and definitely expensive for the unenjoyalbe experience.

Had the black pepper beef which was delicious. My friends had the pad Thai and the ho fun noodles which they enjoyed too. Was asked several times by various waiters how the meals were and whether they could do any more for us which I thought was nice. About £20 a head for a main and large bottle of beer. I wouldn’t say it was authentic Thai but still nice all the same

Food wasn't brilliant, at least not up to thai cuisine high standard. Service was unprofessional: the waitress must have been tired or unmotivated to attend to customers. Pity!

Bonita decoración y distribución del restaurante. La comida tardó mucho en llegar, lo cual es un poco molesto antes del teatro. Aunque era una porción aparentemente pequeña, la carne de pimienta negra estaba bien cocida y caliente. El servicio fue un poco lento y se pasó entre un personal diferente en lugar de uno centrado en un área en particular. Menú sucio con manchas de comida. Había que señalar un chip en la cristalería. Selección no sofisticada y restringida de cervezas, que incluye un marcado margen significativo en Chang.

Always been a great fan of Busaba Leicester square where food is excellent and the customer service is exceptional compared to other branches. Waiters greet you with a smile and are very polite including a special mention of manager Nam she is excellent in her interaction and explains you what on the menu is best . Will return again and agian

Had friends visiting from the continent and made a slightly risky choice by picking Busaba as I didn’t know one of them wasn’t a fan of Thai food. Turns out we all had a wonderful time and even managed to make her appreciate Thai.

We have eaten here quite a number of times over the last few years but this time a bit disappointing. Our favourite Busaba calimari was a bit tough and definitely below par. My green curry was excellent but wife's stir fry was a little tasteless. service was good and quick. The badly signed gents loo was smelly and dirty. At 6pm you might expect the loos to have been checked out and if necessary cleaned after the lunchtime peak.

Really good food at a reasonable price, amazing atmosphere and not too busy around 5pm. Cocktail drinks are 2 for 1 at 4-6pm, so had a great deal with drinks. Not to mention, staff were very polite and very helpful when guiding me to choose the right dish for my evening meal, especially the Thai lady manager!

The food was ok. Nothing special, just average thai chain restaurant food.
