Burger & Lobster Leicester Square in City of London, Westminster

It’s pretty obvious what you’re getting here…I booked here as we were in Leicester Square for another event and we fancied some lobster! I was sceptical with this being a chain, however we had a great experience. Food was amazing, especially the scallop starter. Restaurant had a really nice atmosphere and the staff were all so attentive. I would highly recommend going here, yes it’s a little on the expensive side, but sort of expected for London.

Had a wonderful catch up with a friend where we enjoyed the set menu for 1/2 lobster and a starter for our lunch . The lobster croquettes and lobster meal with fries came out nicely cooked and we enjoyed each bite . I enjoyed a unique drink - watermelon ice tea - which I will definitely order again . Great and attentive service from the lovely waiter Hugo.

Este es un gran restaurante para comer y disfrutar. Tiene un gran ambiente y la comida es muy agradable. Lo único es que no hay muchas opciones para los niños, pero aún así es un gran lugar para ir y comer.

Although the restaurant was a beautiful place, unfortunately that was the highlight. Service was quite slow, with it taking 15 minutes before we were offered drinks. The booking had noted a guest with Coeliac disease but as nothing gluten free was mentioned to us by the server and nothing was marked on menu either, we explained to the server about the need for GF. She had minimal allergy knowledge and although she did refer to the manager who did have good knowledge around contamination and did her best to get some suitable food, basic items like bread and chips weren't gluten free (shared fryer) had no alternative offered - eg fries in fresh oil or a GF bun. In London you would expect there to be demand for gluten free and honestly it is not difficult to have a few gluten free buns in the freezer. The manager did manage to negotiate some GF broccoli with oil as an 'alternative' for fries and a lettuce wrap for a bun - people who need to eat gluten free don't need carbs in this restaurant's view. Add in that all of the burgers were overcooked it was not the meal you would return for.

No he estado en una Hamburguesa y Langosta por un tiempo. Tenía mi habitual de la langosta a la parrilla, pero ya no viene con patatas fritas. Caro para lo que teníamos y nos fuimos todavía con hambre. El servicio no era particularmente bueno, pero se habían dado un cargo del 13 %. No pedí uno, pero los cócteles sin alcohol eran más del doble del precio de uno alcohólico!

Locale molto carino, ambiente piacevole e personale molto gentile e disponibile, cibo davvero ottimo, siamo stati anche all'altro loro ristorante di Soho, ma preferisco questo. Lo consiglio.

We wanted to eat somewhere close to Shaftesbury Avenue and decided on Burger and Lobster after reading positive reviews. Be warned, it’s not easy to find at night and in the rain, and Google maps had us going round in circles. It’s essential to book if going at the weekend as we saw people having to leave their phone numbers and wait. The place is huge and was super busy on the Saturday we went. The tables are very close to each other but then it’s fast-ish food not a romantic venue. We skipped starters and had just mains. We head the burger with bacon and cheese and one of us had truffle chips. There was a bit of a wait for the food to arrive but it was worth the wait. The burger was tasty and had a good texture and came with gherkins, tomato, lettuce and a coleslaw type relish on the bun. The upgraded truffle chips at £3 were definitely worth it. We would definitely visit again if we were in the area.

He estado en Burger and Lobster muchas veces, siempre bueno hasta este momento. El excelente almuerzo especial ya no se ofrece. Tenía el menú de 25 € - selección de entrante y principal. Compartí las Croquetas de Langosta (muy bueno) y la Bruschetta de Setas de Ostra (fue quemado). La media langosta principal era muy pequeña, patatas fritas excelente. Debería haber seleccionado el rollo de langosta en su lugar. Coste total con bebidas y servicio £ 65.

Tuvimos una cena pre-teatro en Burger and Lobster Leicester Square y fuimos bien atendidos por Sara, ella era muy atento e incluso nos ayudó a sacar la carne de langosta de la garra cuando se dio cuenta de que estábamos luchando! Comimos croquetas de ternera wagyu para empezar que estaban deliciosas, seguido de macarrones de langosta y queso y una hamburguesa de ternera. Toda la comida estaba cocinada y presentada muy bien, nuestros ojos eran demasiado grandes para nuestras barrigas, así que no pudimos terminar todo, pero todo estaba muy sabroso. Sin duda recomendaría.

Reservamos este restaurante solo por curiosidad. . Como su nombre indicaba, son hamburguesas y platos principales con temática de carne de langosta... tuvimos un par de entrantes para compartir con nuestra familia de tres. Luego todos eligieron hamburguesas y uno con carne de langosta también .. todo estaba delicioso. El servicio fue genial y amable. . Como te digo ven esperando como se llama el restaurante y no te equivocarás. . equipo bien hecho y la sucursal de la cadena

Impresionante selección de hamburguesas con ingredientes de primera calidad de arriba a abajo. Gran ambiente de bar, asientos cómodos y un servicio excepcional de Florian & Norbert, que sugiere que son de primera categoría y lugar - en una comida perfecta. ¡Debo probar los postres sin importar cuán lleno estés! La selección de ostras también es muy recomendable. Disfrutarás mucho en este acogedor y agradable lugar, ya sea que estés con parejas, familia o solo en el bar. El personal es maravilloso y muy agudo sobre su variedad de elementos del menú. Gran hospitalidad.

Sobreprecio con langostas muy pequeñas como estándar. Pedí media langosta y solo había dos tenedores muy pequeños de carne en la cola y la garra era pequeña. Las hamburguesas no son nada especial. Comer con la reseña de Tod fue una mentira en mi opinión.

My daughter and I both had the whole lobster and fries and it was delicious, just wish the sauce was enough. As it was lunchtime, the staff behind the bar was chatting and playing on their phone, thought it was unprofessional.

Went for the £1 oyster option after 3.00pm. Great deal. Wine and cocktails cheaper too. Tuscan salad very good, prawns too BUT the lobster and prawn roll was all brioche and little filling. Avoid. Service good. Atmosphere ok.

The Lobster Roll was absolutely delicious with lots of lobster. The serving team were lovely, especially Erina, who was a delight and so helpful. The Kids menu is great too. I look forward to my next visit.

Food was fine but service was slow but my issue is the women’s toilets! They’re absolutely disgusting, sanitary products coming out the of sanitary bins stains inside the toilets and all sorts, complete unhygienic. I will not be coming back.

Me and my friend came specifically to Burger to take advantage of the £1 oysters and then also took advantage of the 2 for £12 on cocktails. We had 24 oysters and 4 cocktails each for a bargain price - but yet the bill gets high if you don't be slightly careful. Oysters were delicious and the waiting staff were lovely. The oysters are big and tasty and I would definitely return.

I went there with my friend on Valentine’s Day we were served by Gabi She was absolutely amazing the service the attention to detail the smile. I will definitely be coming back because she made the experience extra special.

Massively over-hyped and over-priced. Service was friendly and efficient but the food was well below average. All three of us in my party had the burger and 1lb lobster combo. The lobster was tough and tasteless and whilst served with a pick, there were no crackers with which to crush shells meaning much wasted meat. The burgers were small, tasteless and soggy. Two beers, a bottle of wine and 3 B&L combos came to over £200. We’d have been better eating at one of the delicious smelling Chinese restaurants nearby. Avoid.

We went to B&L just before seeing a show in Leicester Square. I love lobster- so this was a great place for us. We both ordered the whole lobster with fries and salad for £38. The lobster was a decent size, good portion of fries, and okay salad but neither of us ate that haha. The lobster was good! The only annoying thing was that it had already been cracked for us which was supposed to make things easier but there were some bits we struggled to then break fully open because the joints on the lobster claws have so many little sharp bits! The chips were just basic French fries- but they were nice! We ordered desserts- crème brûlée and apple crumble. It was the BEST crème brûlée I’ve ever had. And my partner said the crumble was delicious. The food is pricey, but it’s lobster.. but then £4 for a bottle of Coke is a little bit soul destroying.. eek! The only thing I wasn’t majorly impressed with was the service. When we arrived we had booked but they took in walk-ins in before seating us and there seemed to be miscommunications between the waiting staff. They were prompt on taking our order, but when bringing out our food they didn’t ask if we needed any sauces or anything- and I could have done with some salt and mayo for my fries! When they came to check on us it was so quick I didn’t get a chance to ask for anything, and it was too busy to get anyone’s attention. They were however, prompt when taking our places, waited til we had both finished. We did have to ask for the dessert menu when the waitress was bringing us some more water after taking our plates which I thought a bit odd? Normally you’re being asked as the plates are being cleared if you want to see dessert menus.. it wasn’t terrible service- it just wasn’t the best? Id still absolutely go back- the food was great, it was a lovely atmosphere- loved the restaurant decor! Really good location to theatres and Leicester Square shopping. And yes it was pricey, but it’s a treat we’d have once in a blue moon.

My 40th birthday treat. My first time trying lobster 🦞 it was bloody beautiful I was stuffed and still couldn't stop eating. Washed it down with a lobster 🦞 martini. Our waiter was very young but was very good at his job. Lobster roll was amazing with the holy f#*k butter. My only grip is I hate being charged a service charge £15....I prefure to leave a tip.

We booked a table for 2 to eat a quick meal before going to see a show. We ordered 2 burgers and a side of lobster Mac N Cheese. Burgers were gorgeous and cooked to perfection and the blue sauce was yummy. The chunky chips tasted refried and full of oil. We never received the lobster Mac n cheese as the waitress missed it off our very small order. While still eating the waitress also took my partners plate! Very bizarre service. Overall, not the best experience and still charged for service. Such a shame as we were really looking forward to it. Won’t be going back unfortunately. Nearly £100 for a burger each with inedible chips and poor service?

The lobster roll is surprisingly delicious! It is cold meat but it was very yum. Our waiter Mathieu was a lovely Italian man and he made our night so amazing! He made our night - thank you Mathieu for your excellent service!

Always enjoy our visit here. On this occasion I had to note an allergy, the staff could not have been any more helpful. Our waiter Stephen was so attentive. Definitely recommend here.

Very excited about our date night at Burger and Lobster after attending a show. I’ve been to the Knightsbridge restaurant some years ago. Reservation is a must as we noticed people being turned away. Not the most welcoming front of house. The two ladies looked like they were working on a factory line. Fed up and lacked the necessary hospitality skills needed for the job. In particular the red hair lady. I watched her stomp about and rush people to their tables without even making eye contact. One customer tried to engage with her without success. Thankfully, we were shown to the table by a third lady. Our waitress Evelyn was ever so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The service from the seat was top class. Food perfectly cooked, and plentiful. Sort your front desk!

You really can't go wrong with this place. I hadn't been here in years and by chance walked into the Leicester Square location whilst out doing the Xmas thing with my partner. The staff were very nice and welcoming and managed to squeeze us in for a meal despite being incredibly busy. The food was exactly what I needed and expected. We went with the Best burger [lobster and burger]. We also had croquettes and lobster mac n cheese. Honestly, this was exactly what I expected and we left with smiles on our faces. Our server was "Alex", he was welcoming and did a good job.

Very poor. The lobster was tiny I’ve had bigger prawns! It was tasteless. I think if you don’t pick the bigger fresher ones the normal ones are farmed and come in frozen. Service was bad had to ask for everything minimum of twice, drinks,condiments etc

I never went to Burger and Lobster in its heyday - but my first visit has confirmed that the party is over. The Leicester Square venue was grubby and unloved - the staff were going thru the motions. It had an Aberdeen Angus Steakhouse feel about it - had a reputation once but now just serves tourists who don’t come again. Avoid.

Good service…. Quiet but busy for a Sunday late-afternoon…. Good food… The wagyu croquettes were excellent… As was the lobster roll… Will definitely return…
