Had an early dinner at Busaba. It was nice, but the standout was definitely the Pad Thai—easily the best part of the meal.

I had a lovely dinner here with work colleagues when visiting London in a business trip. I'm not an expert with Asian dishes and have some food allergies, but the friendly and helpful staff in this place was absolutely phenomenal! They helped me to identify a couple of suitable options from the menu, and the dish I ordered was delicious! Definitely five stars from me as helping and accommodating customers with food allergies is not an easy task.

Delicious food and great service!

We have been here several times before going to ROH. In fact, the restaurant is vis-a-vis the ROH Stage Door. Anyway, excellent food, good service and a nice atmosphere. We are used to pre-ordering, but drop-in is also possible.

I’ve been visiting this place for the better part of 15 years. The consistency in the food quality is fantastic! Love the Calamari. A very uniques take on a traditional dish. I brought the family and we started with the calamari, then had the Pepper Steak, and the shrimp pad Thai. For dessert, the mango sticky rice was also outstanding! Don’t be in a hurry here. Take your time and enjoy the atmosphere and the food. You’ll be happy you did! 🤙🏻

I've been here 3 times now and each time it's been a busy restaurant but food is delivered quickly. Twice I've booked a table, which I would recommend. Good food, quick service, not a restaurant you'd spend all evening in, which is great when you want to eat and then go onto somewhere, which we did.

Grub was really nice and service was good as well as fast. However, my friends and got crammed into a table in the front corner where the incense was too intense.

The food was good, but I expected something better. I won't go back because there are better places.

I wouldn’t even call the food average - busaba has really gone downhill. Minuscule portions, takes ages getting the attention of staff. Won’t be back and certainly won’t bring visitors from out of town here! Huge let down.

I got a pre-theatre menu, som-tam salad and chilli beef jasmine rice, the food is really good! Want to say a huge thank you to the hound lady who is responsible for the mezzanine area tonight. I never mentioned that I’m a student, but she just added the student discount for me directly. Plus she is one of the sweetest human beings I’ve ever met, asked about people’s allergies immediately when she started to get orders, very kind and always keep an eye on all of her customers. Thanks!

We got the chicken satay & pad Thai, both were great but not the best I’ve had. The service ruined the experience, hostess was very rude & made sure i knew that she didn’t want to be there.

EIn Covent Garden, dining before the ballet is usually a terrific experience. But the meal experience this evening could have been better. I had two bookings at six o'clock. When I got there at 5:40 p.m., six of the tables were unoccupied, but we still had to wait. It's not a problem that this occurred. We chose to purchase drinks from the bar, and the employees charged for their services. We were billed for the service even though the bottle and glasses were left at the bar. After being shown to our table at 6:10 p.m., the service was satisfactory; however, the meal was not served until 7:00 p.m. We explained that we had tickets to the ballet at 7:30 p.m., but they never informed us about the length of time we would have to wait for the food. I've visited this restaurant several times in the past, and every time I got the chance, I told friends, coworkers, and even tourists about it. It was a rather disappointing experience, and because my remarks are usually good, I hope they take them seriously.

I stumbled into this restaurant looking for a place that's not a long line in Covert Garden during Christmas. didnt know this is a chain. we didnt have reservation so they sat us in the communal table upstairs , but in the end the table was just for ourselves. i had their crab curry, it was really delicious. you can see a lot of crab meat inside and a good kick of spice, perfect to eat it with rice. our group ordered different things, heard the green curry and the butternut squash curry are not as good, but the pad Thai seems legit. they also have kids menu. The service is pretty slow. it took a long time to get the order and took very long for the food to arrive as well. overall it's a great Thai place but you just need to know what to order.

Came here 03 Jan at 1800hrs before going to a show. Hadnt planned it, just needed somewhere to eat. Very glad we did. We got a table for 2 immediately. Our server came with menus and we ordered cocktails and pad thai. We also had Sticky Mango Rice and Chocolate Fondue with Coconut Ice cream for dessert. Not the biggest portions but tasted lovely. Cocktails were fab. We had Bangkok Mojito and Patpong Martini. Will definitely be back next time we are in Covent Garden.

We were able to be seated after arriving late due to going to the wrong Busaba! Pre theatre dinner meant we were slightly pushed for time due to this. However, we were seated in a great position, looked after by staff and served quickly with drinks and dinner. The duck noodles were lovely. The sauce a tad spicy for my taste but ......... The katsu chicken was delicious. As were the Thai crackers. Would definitely recommend. Bill was very reasonably priced with drinks and dinner for two under £50. Great service. Thank you. 🙏🏼😊

May be it's just me! But I didn't like the food here except a few items. As my expectation from a Thai restaurant is high. Pad Thai and Prawn Red curry were a biggest let down for my taste. Chicken satay was good and so was the aubergine curry. Desserts were just alright. It's pricy though for a Thai restaurant.

Over priced Thai food. Lousy service attitude - I came in with my family for lunch, and the restaurant was fully packed. We were offered seats near the doorway , cause that’s what the lady mentioned she could offer at the moment , not an issue at all. Food came and all dishes were disappointing - the pad Thai was like warm at most. The Tom yum soup was bland, and did not taste like Tom yum at all. We ask the lady manager and she said this is how we do it, the soup is tomato base and is not authentic kind of Tim yum soup. The green curry was bland, luke warm, and don’t even taste anything near the worst green curry I’ve ever had. On the service side - through the whole time, no one offered to help keep our coats, every other British or Caucasian customer that came through , they offered to do that. Staff were all more friendly to non Asian customers. It is just so apparent.. my daughter asked for chopsticks and was given a cold curd reply of “we don’t do chopsticks here”. Well, never coming back to any of your chains ever, and will surely spread the word to all my friends. You can surely keep the change.

Thai green curry for 1 to takeaway, well overpriced at a few pence short of a £20,maybe that’s a London standard 😳 very minimal veg and flavour, won’t be back.

Busaba is my favourite Thai Fusion restaurant in London. The staff is very friendly and the food super yummy. The chefs must be very knowledgeable about Asian cuisine. Pop in if you are around. Love, A fan

Not authentic at all. Terrible food. Bad portion sizes. Do not go here if you want good Thai food.

Booking a table is easily done. Food arrives in good time and the staff serve well. Big drawback is the quality of taste for the amount charged per dish. Spring rolls were ok. The soyamari was great! But eat it quick as it gets chewy quickly if cold. Had the green veg curry and the sriracha noodles, and both were very bland in taste. But you're paying close to £20 with rice. Restaurant itself is nice and clean and welcoming.

I ordered the jungle curry which was hot and spicy but let down by the undercooked sticky rice.

Extremely disappointing! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I had booked this place for a birthday dinner, party of 6. The first table we were given was ridiculous as it was all squashy, no proper chairs to put coats/scarves on. Only 5 of us would fit round it comfortably. We asked to be moved and was told no as everywhere else was reserved. We said well how can 6 of us comfortably eat when there’s physically no space for us and our coats. We saw an empty table with 6 chairs and asked to be sat there however we were told “no that’s a reserved table only for 8ppl” (there were only 6 chairs). After waiting further 10 mins, we finally were moved to a table for….4! So 6 of us all had to squash round this table. All the waiters could see we were sat uncomfortably but didn’t bother to cater. A small table for 2 next to us was empty so we asked if we could merge both tables. RELUCTANTLY the waiter allowed and finally after 30 mins from arriving we were sat comfortably (& that was us only who made that happen, no staff helped)!! Birthday dinner didn’t start off well clearly, then only got worse as we then saw a group of 6 ppl fill up the table we initially asked for to which we were told it was for a table of 8!! So all waiters lied to us basically. We also never got asked if we had any allergies so when ordering we had 3 waiters re-take our orders due to the lack of communication plus lack of business policy to ask first and foremost about allergies!!! That is life threatening, imagine if that happened to someone else who was an anonymous assessor OR even worse if I had an allergic reaction!! Then it got worse by the portion sizes. The taste was nice however for the price you pay the portions were despicable!! Mid food we asked for another pad Thai because it was literally fit for only 2 ppl. The 2nd pad thai we ordered came to our table when our plates were taken away due to us being finished!!!! How ridiculous is that. They obviously forgot about it. The service was atrocious. As a birthday girl or any excuse to come for dinner, it was THE worst experience ever, I would never come back to that restaurant. There was no customer service at all not even a slight discount to apologise for all the bad service we got throughout our time there.

Calmari, black pepper beef, ginger beef, lamb shank dishes were all extremely tasty, with bold and fresh flavours. They were served at their ideal temperature, and were all the perfect portion size. Our server, Suzanna, demonstrated outstanding service and hospitality, as she looked after us with the most genuinely friendly, warm and attentive customer service. Our dining experience was exceptional due to Suzannas service.

Les spécialités sont thaïlandaise. Les plats sont très bons, bien préparés et bien présentés, l'accueil est charmant, les prix raisonnables et la décoration au top. Allez-y les yeux fermés !

We just happened to discover this sweet Thai place and loved each and every dish we ordered here. It has amazing Thai variety of food options as well as equally matched taste. The servers were very efficient and helpful and knowledgeable about the menu.

I used to love this restaurant but my visit this weekend was really bad. The waiter was racist, didn't give us water as they used to do before. Took 20 mins to come and take our order. As soon as we finished, they quickly asked if we wanted to pay. It was not full and we wanted to enjoy the vibe. I am sorry to say, but I don't love this restaurant anymore. I hope you don't treat future customers like this!

Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed when I attended this restaurant. the service was slow and waited a long time just for a simple drink such a rum and coke which I then received the wrong amount of rum that I had requested. The calamari was thick ,oily and chewy. The main was complete waste of money as it was few pieces of old dried out duck served with "noodles" - which in fact was indomine, which cost around 30p a packet. The meal was supposedly meant to have sauce on it on but it was dry . The food is completely overpriced for what is served as the food is just dry and tasteless. The staff don't have a clue on what they are doing and just asking other colleagues any time we asked a question about the food. The restaurant was very loud as well so difficult to even hear myself think while I am trying to eat. The other parties at my table were not impressed with their food either.

Most delicious thai food in London!! Love the chilli beef rice and the good atmosphere. Will definitely revisit. There are also student discount in weekdays.

Photo doesn’t do it justice. Best Thai place around. I been coming here often and I get songkhla beef with rice or pad Thai both are great. Today I tried grilled half chicken and it didn’t disappoint. The vibe atmosphere, value for money and portions are great.

Average standard Thai food. Portions are smaller than expected but tasted okay. Quite popular though.

Food was delicious! Very well spiced and cooked. Lots of choices if you’re vegan. There was no wait for a table. Nice chill decor inside. Service could have been better as we did wait about 10 minutes to pay. But I’d definitely still eat here again.

Food was quite ok as usual but the service here is terrible. Although we had dinner on Friday evening and it was busy but we waited for the cracker for almost half an hour. Really unbelievable! Few tables had completed their meal and we were still waiting for the starter( we got rest dishes though) Some waiters showed really bad attitudes and wanted us to finish ASAP right after serving the cracker. 👎👎👎 Pick other busaba but try your best to avoid this one!!!

The appetizers didn't arrive until we finished eating for 20 minutes, and dessert was the first to arrive. When we arrived we were told we had to eat and leave by 20:30, but we waited nearly an hour for the food to arrive. We have been pushing for a long time to provide dishes and bowls to us. The taste of the dishes is OK, but the Tom Yum Gong soup is too light and not authentic.

Horrible taste, £20 for a tiny green curry with no taste whatsover.... rip off. This is not authentic.

The service was good for the most of it. The food was very very basic. The price are absolutely unjustifiable. The biggest miss was that they brought my starter and my main at the same time. Both soups. I had to leave one behind or eat it cold which makes no sense. Would not recommend at all and if you like Thai food pretty much every other thai restaurant I’ve tried in London has so much more to offer for more appropriate prices.

I had a great time at Busaba! the bangkok mojitos and classic pad thai tasted amazing. The staff were really attentive especially the waitress Yasmin, with a lovely smile who was always making sure we are okay from the start to end. Definitely recommend coming here!

The food is incredible, the best crispy tofu I have ever tasted. Lots of interesting dishes to choose from.

Was expecting great things from Busaba but it was such a let down. Food was average at best. The red curry was too watery and everything lacked flavour in general. The worst part was that there were rats in the restaurant which was uncalled for and quite a scary experience as they were under the table next to us. The staff said that the best they could do was give a discount on our bill which was a bit rubbish because I’m sure they could have done more for the terrible experience we had. Definitely do not recommend and definitely not going back.

havent been here in years use to love it but remmber my last exprerince wanst great and coming back after a long time food was not great had a half chicken and it was not cooked on the grill it was pouched and then finshed on the grill for a few secounds it was flavourless so was the pad thai the quality of the food was ok just the flavours lacked nothing tasted like thai food it was watered down version of it. service was good

Had a dinner here on a Monday evening in August. We booked but am sure we could have got a table (for 3) if we hadn’t. We were seated and handed the food and drinks menu. 3 Singha beers later and we went to order. The server explained really well that all food would come together/as soon as ready so if we wanted starters (“small plates”) we should order those and then order main course later. We did that and were glad we did as the small plates were not small. We had spring rolls and calamari. All delicious. Then we ordered main course and had ginger beef and Thai red curry and a selection of rices. All delicious. The best Thai beef I have had for a long time. Really juicy, fresh and tasty. Would fully recommend you try this place.

Waiter took a bit too long to take our order. Took even longer to give us the bill. The food was quite bland to say the least even for a thai curry classic dish. The table was wobbling and cramped. The wine was good but that was about it

I did not pick the dish my group did, something with chicken. The chicken was tough and chewy, but had good flavor, I did not eat any of it though. The noodles were probably ment to taste like this, but they were sour and did not have that great of flavor.

The food was cold when it arrived and really lacked flavour. Took them about 25 mins to take our order and the portions were tiny. Honestly try and find an authentic place because it is just overpriced.

What a find! Come out of Convent Garden Station and this is tucked around the corner, away from the busy main street, but still with the atmosphere of being in the heart of London. We were met with really friendly staff, espeaclly Mary-Grace, who seated us anywhere we chose ( we did arrive just before the lunch rush, so this was possible). The service was timed just right through the whole of our visit, not too slow and not too fast, you do not feel rushed to finish and leave. We were a booking of 4 adults but is a family friendly restaurant and whilst we were there, there were lots of families with young children. They supply paper and caryons as well for the kids. The beers as you can see are large, and the cocktails were made well and tasted great. Prawn crackers were brought to our table with sweet chilli sauce to nibble on whilst we viewed the menu. We decided to order 7 items from the menu and then we all shared, like a tapas style meal. The food was cooked to a very high standard and good size portions. We finsihed off with a coffee. I have been to many Thai restaurants and this has to be top of my list. I will be telling everyone about it and will be back. Thank you for a great visit Busaba 😊

Lovely Thai restaurant in an elegant neighborhood. The food was well prepared and served. The taste was a Wow. The prices are really fair ! Really enjoyed dinning there.

I went to Busaba in Covent Garden on Sunday evening just for a snack and drinks 🍷. The place is very nice inside and the staff is friendly. Shout out to the manager as after I spilled a glass of wine was ready to help and didn't make me feel bad for the mess. Loved the satay cabbage💓

Had a lovely meal for the four of us. Starters were squid and matchstick chicken. Mains were phas thai and chilli chicken...really nice food and i think very reasonably priced. Definitely going again!
