The best restaurants serving American food in London

Rara vez dejo comentarios negativos, pero nuestra experiencia de cena en este restaurante fue nada menos que espantoso. De principio a fin, fue un catálogo de errores, negligencia y decepción lo que nos dejó arrepentidos de nuestra decisión de cenar aquí. En primer lugar, al llegar, nos hicieron esperar 30 minutos antes de que un camarero se acercara a nosotros. Durante este tiempo, no recibimos absolutamente ningún acuse de recibo o servicio al cliente. Para empeorar las cosas, inicialmente estábamos sentados en una mesa justo al lado de la puerta, donde hacía frío e incómodo. Después de solicitar el traslado, tuvimos que esperar 20 minutos adicionales para volver a sentarnos en otro lugar, mientras seguíamos esperando menús. La falta de atención del personal fue asombrosa. Cuando finalmente nos sentamos correctamente, el pan de cortesía tardó más de media hora en llegar. Para añadir insulto a la lesión, nuestros entrantes fueron sacados antes de nuestras bebidas, un error flagrante que mostró una completa falta de coordinación. Me quejé con la camarera, que se disculpó repetidamente, pero incluso entonces, nuestras bebidas tardaron demasiado en llegar. Cuando finalmente llegaron los entrantes, estaban fríos y mal preparados. Esto marcó la pauta para el resto de la comida, que continuó deteriorándose. El servicio era dolorosamente lento, y marcar a un camarero para cualquier ayuda era una prueba en sí misma. Luego vino el filete de ternera, que se suponía que era un punto culminante del menú. En cambio, era duro, seco e increíblemente difícil de cortar o masticar. No hubo acompañamientos, por lo que es una de las comidas más decepcionantes y deslucidas que he tenido en un restaurante. El postre, que debería haber sido el punto de redención, fue otro fiasco. Mi compañero pidió el postre “Chocolate Delice”, solo para servirse sorbete sin explicación. Cuando interrogamos al camarero, casualmente nos informaron que el postre ya no estaba disponible, algo que no se molestaron en mencionar al tomar el pedido. Fue completamente poco profesional y se sumó a las crecientes frustraciones de la noche. Para colmo, el restaurante era frío e incómodo, incluso después de mover asientos. Tuve que mantener mi chaqueta puesta durante toda la comida, lo que dice mucho sobre la falta de pensamiento puesto en la comodidad de los clientes. También notamos que otros comensales se iban en masa — muchas parejas estaban sentadas, solo para salir después de 30 - 45 minutos, claramente hartos del servicio atroz. Lo que empeoró aún más esta experiencia fue la falta de rendición de cuentas o de esfuerzo del personal y la administración. No hubo disculpas sinceras ni intentos de rectificar la situación. Sentía como si a nadie le importaran los clientes en absoluto (¡el día de San Valentín! ) En general, esta fue fácilmente una de las peores experiencias gastronómicas que he tenido. Desde el pésimo servicio hasta la mala calidad de la comida, fue un completo desastre. Aconsejo encarecidamente a cualquiera que considere este lugar que lo piense dos veces, simplemente no vale la pena su tiempo, dinero o paciencia. ¡Lo único que vino rápido fue el billete de 200 libras! Si los propietarios leen esta opinión, espero que reflexione seriamente sobre el estado de su restaurante y el trato de sus clientes. Los cambios son desesperadamente necesarios, o este establecimiento está condenado al fracaso.

La mejor comida que he tenido en años y el servicio es amable y eficiente. Hay toda la opción que pueda desear de un lugar de hamburguesas y las porciones son generosas sin pasarse de la raya. La comida se presenta muy bien. El lugar es cómodo, elegante y perfecto por su ubicación y naturaleza como restaurante de esquina en un entorno urbano.

The wasn’t made by the routine. I ask for extra shots but still taste so watery. Worst in Liverpool Street.

Supongo que obtienes lo que pagas por barato y terrible, no soy un fanático y ningún esfuerzo en el servicio o la comida debería haber sido de Tesco

Um bom restaurante de carnes.... ambiente amplo e agradável... serviço atencioso. Recomendo a "hot stone experience" .....o Filet da minha esposa estava excelente... o meu Ribeye deixou um pouco a desejar....Mas de qq forma vale a pena conhecer....

Wow such a fantastic restaurant! Highly recommend, from entering the restaurant we were given a very warm welcome and explained the menu. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated, modern with a warm vibe! The drink selection was great and wow the food was super tasty! We had the All-In and it was amazing! The staff are very attentive, thank you!

My first time here and really enjoyed both the food and the service. They guided me through the burrito building choices very nicely, and made very clear the parts which cost extra and the parts which are included, so all in all very happy. Can't believe I haven't been coming here all this time. (I plan to add a photo soon.) And the aesthetic on top is pretty dang cool, so extra points.

This was a great family meal. The service was exceptional and the food definitely didn't disappoint. The smashed burgers were amazing and I highly recommend along with the milk shakes with were a must buy. The service was particularly good despite a small complication it was dealt with exceptionally as I got offered a free beer (didn't accept though because I was driving) if you're looking for a family meal in Kingston this is my No1 burger restaurant. I also had a chat to the owner and he said they were going to add a texan barbecue theme to the restaurant, can't wait!

For nearly a decade we as a family have been dinning at Bodean's. Today we discovered that Bodean's have succumbed to the trend of shrinkflating their menu. Unfortunately the menu has changed for the worst and there is a lack of variety and the focus seems to be cheeping out by serving second rate chicken. We all ordered smoked & grilled chicken from the mains menu, it was tedious work teasing what little chicken there was on the bone. The salt and vinegar fries were fried to oblivion and the portion was very small. There was a weird slice of soggy bread under the chicken which I am told was supposed to be Texas toast, it was unpalatable and we all declined to eat it. The pickles served with the chicken were laced with cloves which gave off a perfume scent mismatched with the whole smokehouse BBQ theme. To me it's obvious they are trying to cut costs by slashing the menu and have completely lost their own identity as a smokehouse BBQ restaurant. If I wanted a burger I'd go to a burger restaurant, we dinned at at Bodean's for their own individuality, not because they are trying to emulate an American style Kansas beef hillbilly Wizard of Oz barbecue.

We sat at a shared table for the first time but we were not disturbed, it was a nice experience, the tables are very big. The waiters were very attentive and helpful. The food was very delicious, I had the best cocktail I've ever had in London here, it was very successful. We tried a local flavor for the taste but it didn't suit our taste :)

They got us a table really quickly + barely any wait on food and drinks, the staff were lovely! A bit on the pricey side for the level it’s at but a good breakfast
