We went to this place twice because we liked it. Welcoming fast but not rushed service all very good and simple normal cost for a brunch. The first time we arrived very early in the morning and didn't have to wait. The second time we had to wait about 40 minutes but they let you do a virtual thing from your phone and you can go and take your turns. There is a food market in front of it and we practically had a double breakfast by going there before having brunch. I absolutely recommend it because the people who work there are very nice and kind.

We actually wanted to get breakfast at the borough market, but we were actually a bit early. Everyone was still busy setting up their booths. There were not many visitors yet so we saw it quickly and wanted to sit somewhere. The Breakfast Club was quite around the corner and looked nice on maps. The service was excellent and the breakfast also tasted great. We had forgotten that English tea is so strong, so we should have asked for a loose tea bag. You really get a big mug of tea. It was doable with milk in it. In retrospect, after having had the entire holiday, this was not the most special breakfast restaurant we had, but it was very good. Legend: 1) Terrible! I don't recommend it, I will never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't come again. 3) Ok, nothing wrong with that, but nothing special, nice for once. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! I recommend, I will definitely come back!

This place is busy!!! and for good reason! The service was great, the food was too. It was a little on the pricier end for me but I think it was worth it. The only suggestion is to make a booking. We failed to get in on Saturday but just about managed on Tuesday!!

What a fun spot to stumble into to escape the rain! It was super busy, but they were super accommodating with seating us at the bar. Very friendly staff, incredible food and super great energy overall. We had the Benny and the TBC sandwich and both were amazing. 10/10 recommend

Great American restaurant close to London Bridge. Food was very good. I had some avocado on toast with eggs; and it was very tasty. Other members of my party were very pleased as well. The coffee could’ve been better; didn’t really have much flavour. Prices were a little bit on the expensive side. Customer service was amazing! Props to our waitress that catered for all of our questions and requests with a great and positive attitude as well as super quickly. Would definitely come again.

Had the best scrambled eggs here ever with yum sourdough and mushrooms and best chorizo ever oh and a proper cup of tea. Very decently priced for lunch. Our waiter was also exceptional!

The staff were kind and helpful. The place was not that busy and the wait for the food wasn't long. The portions were a good size, not as hot as we expected and we got extra syrup. The pancakes were soft and sweet with the strawberries and vanilla cream. The waffles were a bit hard but nice with the egg, bacon, gravy and syrup. A nice cosy place for a decent bite to eat.

We really enjoyed our breakfast! On the other hand there was a lot of waiting so we had to eat outside even though it was cold and the service was very long. I also found that it was quite expensive (more than €50 for 2 juices, pancakes and eggs) On the other hand, the pancakes were really delicious!

Wow! Amazing food and service! I asked for all the usual condiments and didn’t need to add a single one! Each and every component to my very large breakfast was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Lovely and clean with a fab atmosphere. A real homely , trendy ( but not too trendy for a family visit) . I only wish they had a place in cornwall so I could go back. We visited the one in rufus street and honestly can’t fault a single thing! Hope I get to return . Thanks guys 🥰

Borough Mkt closed, so found this place. Very good choice for the 3 of us. Good service and we were very happy with our food. Would be good to have a gluten free option, somewhere on the menu rather than always focusing on 'vegans' all the time.

Fine spot for an American breakfast. We got a variety of things, listed below, but we likely wouldn’t get any of them again - Huevos Rancheros with Fried Chicken - Pancakes, Cream & Berries - French Toast Dip - Americano coffee

Not worth the wait. Food is mediocre, was served luke warm as if it was premade and sat there for half an hour waiting to be ordered. Not that great tasting anyway. Service was not personable at all like robots. Ambiance inside is nonexistent. Pictures make it look way better than it really is.

Nice atmosphere, it was a shame we had to wait for a while to be seated and the SMS service for spaces didn’t work. However once we were set the service was friendly and fast. All the breakfasts we had tasted great and the drinks were also good. Not on the cheap side, but would recommend for people in the area.

Brilliant breakfast here this morning. Super friendly and super fast. Food was delicious and the coffee excellent. Staff were 99% all on point and the only 1% lacking was the waitress who chose not to greet me or say “someone will be with you” and instead stared blankly at me before walking off. I sat at the bar and the 2 staff there were super busy but not too busy to smile and say hi and make sure I felt welcome. The guy running the seating also excellent. My over easy eggs were over but not easy but that’s a small point and not worth losing a star over. Highly recommend ❤️

I came in on a busy Saturday morning while it was raining and only had to wait ten minutes. I had such a lovely time at the place, the staff were so nice, and the food was delicious. I wish I could go back soon! I felt right at home, and I unfortunately can't remember my server's name but I wish to offer him many compliments for being so kind while I was the counter having breakfast.

The potatoes and chorizo was a lot more filling than anticipated. The pancakes were good, but they kinda have a muffin drier texture to them. There are also £5 palomas which definitely added to the vibe. All in a solid breakfast at a good price.

We arrived just before the queues, so were seated and served quickly. Staff are attentive and friendly. Hubby had pancakes, potatoes, sausage, egg and bacon. I had the pancakes with strawberries and vanilla cream. The pancakes are American style so are really thick, so I couldn’t get through 3 of them. There is a lot of cream and not many strawberries. I had about 3 strawberries made to look more as chopped in to 9 pieces. Enough for one pancake at best. Although tasty, the pancakes are light and fluffy, they are so heavy and dense and, with the fruit eaten and so much of the pancakes left, I wasted one and a half pancakes. Hubby enjoyed his breakfast. Although he did say the pancakes were very dry and not enough maple syrup, but you may be able to request more? We wasn’t told this and didn’t ask. At around £40 for breakfast with 2 small coffees, It’s pricier than your average breakfast place but the breakfast isn’t better than your average breakfast place so we wouldn’t really return here.

ordered the avo, eggs, and cheese (or whatever it was) with a side of hash browns and a mimosa. everything was great. they gave me a second mimosa on the house because my food “took so long,” but i honestly didn’t think it took long at all. everything was very fast and they clearly value providing great service.

Fantastic full English breakfast for vegans and non vegans alike! I believe they forgot the vegan bacon on mine but nonetheless it was so tasty and the scrambled "eggs" were wonderful! There is a bit of a long wait but totally worth it and they are quite attentive, the only thing I would have liked would be a vegan black pudding to match the full monty

I'm writing this review a bit late, but as people say "better later than never". I visited "The Breakfast Club" on the 22nd of July, went there for breakfast, and I definitely wasn't disappointed with my choice. Everything was excellent. The food was delicious (I had coffee and sourdough bread with salmon, eggs). The speed of service was great, despite the busy morning I was served very quickly. The atmosphere was vivid and vibrant, but relaxing and satisfying at the same time. The wonderful team, especially, I want to say "thank you " to Nick, who is brilliant at his job. I highly recommend this place for visiting! The next time I'm in London, I will definitely go there!

We went here after reading other reviews for how good the breakfast club was for Gluten free options. We are both coeliac so finding somewhere friendly to eat is a big thing. When we got there there was a queue and wait on tables, however, the kind staff managed to get us in and out with only a short wait on the table so that we could make our afternoon theatre showing. As it was so busy when we placed our order we were told there were high chances of cross contamination but they could ask the chefs if they cook the gluten free pancakes in a pan instead if we didn't mind waiting a little longer than normal on our food. We went with this option and we were not disappointed. The food was fabulous & customer service was very good. I definitely recommend this branch of the breakfast club!

It's your British version of an American diner. I had the Phillycheese steak with sourdough The bread was too much for the small amount of meat on that sandwich. It was over flown with cheese but not enough meat. Ate it with only half the bread

I arrived around 9:40 on Sunday morning and waited for about 30 minutes. It's not a good place to eat while waiting. I really wanted to eat it after seeing the photos and reviews, so I waited, but the pancakes weren't as tasty as they looked in the photos. I had the most leftover. The taste is very comparable to the delicious pancakes I had in Vancouver, Canada a few days ago. Aside from the Vancouver pancakes, they were less tasty than regular pancakes. I added vanilla syrup to the iced latte, but they forgot to add it, so I asked for it again. The taste of the flat white is average, and the egg banana is also average. But The Full Monty was okay.

This is a fantastic restaurant, but getting a table without a reservation can be challenging as it's always very busy! The menu offers a wide variety of delicious options. We tried the avocado toast with salmon and a traditional English breakfast—both were stunning. The sweet selection is also irresistible!

Came here twice on our trip, only for coffees so cannot review the food. However first day coffees were great, caramel iced latte but the waitress was not very friendly. Second day waitress was friendly but coffee was not very good. So a little inconsistent with coffees but would be interested to try the food.

We used to be a regular visit to various Breakfast Clubs, including this one. Sadly, the quality ha deteriorated. Firstly, the menu has massively reduced. Before you’d get a range of pancakes, shakshuka, Benedict’s etc. The menu now is comparitively small and everything is largely the same. They have a Mr Big sandwich and a Parm sandwich, for example. Which is a variation of two fried chicken sandwiches. But the worst thing is the service. We arrived around 7.45pm on a Wednesday. At 8pm, before we’d ordered, they asked if we would want a coffee as the coffee machine was being turned off. Then at 8.30pm, midway through our meal, they told us it was last orders. Why are they not serving any more drinks after 8.30pm?! The one waitress spent the whole time on her phone and just wanted to go home. Of course, we had no incentive to order dessert having been told drinks were done. Unfortunately this place won’t last much longer. It’s a real shame, as it’s a nice space and the food is fine. But they don’t seem to care about making it a nice experience and staff just want to get home.

I came here for the first time, I am coeliac and the manager was very friendly and helpful when I was unsure about what gluten free things I could have. He even took the time to explain everything and when I couldn’t have a item on the menu that came with my meal, he subbed the item for a gluten free item so I wasn’t having less than what originally was included in my meal. :) !!!!! - From J, the coeliac :)

I recently visited The Breakfast Club in London. The food was alright, and the waiters were friendly, but the manager was extremely rude.

I recently visited for brunch and was disappointed by the behavior of the restaurant manager. When we politely asked about our food, which was running late, the manager responded in a condescending and rude manner. Instead of offering an explanation or apology, we were met with impatience and a dismissive attitude. This interaction, along with the overall lack of professionalism, turned what should have been a pleasant brunch into an uncomfortable experience. Simple requests felt like a burden, and we were left feeling unwelcome. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving customer service, as courteous and respectful treatment is essential. Unfortunately, this experience has made me hesitant to return for future brunches.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Breakfast Club. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was fantastic. We also enjoyed the cocktails, which were just as impressive. Overall, a great place for a delicious breakfast meal and a good time!

We enjoyed the food and they were really kind. I will definitely visit this here again but I won't order the cheese burger again. It was very juicy and nice I loved it. But middle of the meat was pink. It was fine. Maybe they tried medium rare or something but I found a piece of meat that not cooked. I found this when I almost finished the burger. So didn't complain anything. they should be careful when cook raw meat.

The food was good but I would choose something else next time. The decor could do with a little refresh, my sofa seat was torn in multiple section. The servers were super friendly, but then they forgot to bring one of the items I ordered, and once they rectified that, they returned with an additional item that didn’t order. Super recommended to have a “strong” breakfast, both the classic English one and other types of breakfast, such as eggs Benedict, toast or pancakes. The service guys were very attentive, they asked us at all times if everything was going well. The food was exquisite, and the coffee was one of the best we have had in London.

We ordered on line and portions are reduced so it is all overpriced. The orange juice taste like that you buy in a supermarket, definitely no fresh and no good taste. Seems quality dropped but prices incresed.

It’s Sunday morning and I’m tired from staying up all night photographing a couple of old Route master buses around London and I should probably head home but I fancied breakfast first so I headed to London Bridge from Westminster as I’d always enjoyed the breakfasts at the Breakfast Club before, though it’s been a while since my last visit. I arrive 10 minutes early and despite the tables outside being set ready for service and the window between the reception area and the outside being open and also set for service I go through the open front door and just check with the young lady at the reception desk that it is indeed 07:30 that they open. This being confirmed head back outside to sit and wait at one of the tables. Not really a problem as it’s a lovely warm morning with the sun beating down to keep me well warmed in the slight breeze. 07:30 comes and one of the four cyclists who were also waiting at one of the tables heads inside to order their drinks but comes out again saying that the waitress will bring out menus and to take their order, so I sit tight. However when the young lady I’d spoken to previously, and who had been told the I’d wait outside until they were open, brought out the menus she only brought enough for the cyclists. I left a suitable amount of time to allow her to return with more but after a few minutes headed inside to either get a menu or a seat inside. I was finally brought a menu and once the waitress had taken the cyclists orders was asked if I also wanted to order a drink or was I ready to order my food, having only been given the menu two minutes before! I ordered a small orange juice and asked for a few more minutes to make up my mind about my breakfast choice. My juice was duly delivered and I ordered the Eggs Benedict, served here with crispy bacon rather than the traditional ham, and a Bloody Mary to further slake my morning thirst. I lifted my glass of orange juice and proceeded to remove four of what turned out to be 8 ice cubes from the small glass of orange juice! Really?! Was that volume of ice totally necessary?! Next came the Bloody Mary. Modestly garnished with a sprig of Basil leaves, a couple of gherkins, a pickled onion and a long green chilli on a bamboo skewer. Drinking this was aided by the inclusion of a much welcome paper straw. Shortly after the Bloody Mary came the Eggs Benedict and I should really have realised something wasn’t quite right when the young lady selected a steak knife from the container and told me I’d need it to cut the muffin! Sure enough the muffin was so hard that sawing it with a knife was the only way to get through it! The bacon wasn’t so much crispy as it was slightly soggy cardboard! The eggs though were beautifully poached, if not quite as runny as I’d have liked, and the hollandaise was well made. Overall, not greatly impressed by either the food nor the service, for which a seemingly mandatory 12.5% service charge had been added to the bill, although I don’t recall this being noted on the menu. Time to find a new breakfast venue methinks, or maybe I should have gone for the Huevos rancheros.

The food was served cold. The music was very loud. Bathroom was out of hand soap. Patron sitting behind me was extremely sick and coughed and blew her nose the entire time (can’t blame the restaurant for that). Overall it was an okay experience but definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to go back or to recommend it to anyone.

I have not been here for 4 years but had a bad experience today. I came here for my son's birthday and we were very disappointed. He had the chicken and waffles but found the chicken inedible. He said it tasted like a supermarket ready meal! Although the service was fast and he was offered a replacement, which he declined, I did not feel that there was a genuine attempt to rectify or please the customer. I also marked the atmosphere down since the bright pink paint and general decor was outdated. The toilets were mixed with two cubicles and one sink with only cold water working. There was limited space so proper had to wait outside. We asked for water for the table but the glasses were cloudy with limescale build up so did not want to use them. Surely it is time to replace glasses when they get that old?! I had the American breakfast which was okay but once the small portion of maple syrup was used up, the pancakes were quite dry. Overall, since we came here for a birthday celebration, we felt let down by the experience we encountered. I suppose if you just want to grab a quick bite, but don't mind paying usual restaurant prices, perhaps you would not be as disappointed as I was. However, I will not be returning.

Really disappointed, two of us arrived and asked for a table, we were prepared to have to wait but there were no queues which I expected there would be and there were tables free and not marked as reserved. Despite this we were told by the young lady at front of house that there would be a long wait. She wasn't very friendly or helpful, andbcouldn't care less really. She was more interested in chatting to a group of people who came in behind us, Obviously their spend would have been more than ours. It felt like poor customer service and I wouldn't consider recommending or ever thinking of going there again.

Walked up around 10:30am on a Sunday. A little busy, was told a 40 min wait but then two bar spots opened and hostess sat us right away. Atmosphere was great, baristas and bar staff were all friendly, good music playing. Coffee was excellent! I got the chicken and waffles and they did not disappoint.

Visited at a very busy time but the staff took my name and number and I received a text to come back. When we came back we had a booth immediately. The menu had so many incredible options it was hard to choose at first but I decided to go for the Huevos Rancheros with chorizo sausage. The staff were so attentive even with how busy they were. Lovely recommendations from staff and the food was absolutely gorgeous.

It should be illegal for them to sell waffles. It was rock hard, cold and practically stale, don’t ask me how. No one told them they had to sell waffles when they have pancakes but somehow they made chicken and waffles and missed the point entirely. Egg wasn’t great. My friend didn’t even finish her breakfast it was very disappointing. Especially for the prices they charge?!? It’s just a gimmick. Not the first time I’ve eaten here and been super disappointed, not sure why I thought anything would change years later.

Had the greasy spoon (full-ish English) and it was pretty basic; sausages were anemic, beans straight out of a can and the tiny eggs were fried rather than poached. £3 extra for a couple small slices of sour dough - ouch! I'd say a smidge above Wetherspoons quality which if you've ever had a 'spoons breakfast you'll know that's pretty poor. The chap serving at the bar had great banter which was the best part. Sitting at the bar was really cramped and awkward to sit down and get up - they really cram people in! It was heaving at 10am. £16 for a bland fry up with no mushrooms or tomato or any extras was expensive, then add the 10% service charge.

Met a friend for breakfast here. We were crammed in like sardines on one of the hottest days of the year with hardly room for someone to squeeze to the next table without knocking your food off, and people seated at the bar so you could hardly move your seat back from the table. The menu offers a lot, and we both had the greasy spoon. We were asked if we wanted toast and in truth we assumed it was included in the £13:25 cost of breakfast but nope that was an extra £2.25. Oh, and if you wanted a cup of tea, that was £3.00. When food and drink arrived portions were very measly and I am not sure anything particularly stood out as very tasty. Once we had finished, we were asked if we wanted anything else, which we declined before being thrust the bill and the waitress stood with card machine in hand keen to rush us away from the table!! Oh and of course the service charge added on (Don't recall seeing that on the menu or advised when given the bill) otherwise we surely would have declined that. When I think about cafes around London, where you can get a superb fry up for less than a tenner each, £43 for a breakfast for two was nothing short of daylight robbery. Strongly recommend avoiding this as there are far better places for you to get a better breakfast/brunch.

We went on a Sunday just after 1, and it was quite busy but nothing crazy. We were greeted by the most lovely woman, she had black hair, was wearing shorts, striped blue and white shirt who helped us secure a table when one would become available, and although she was having trouble with her tablet she handed the situation very well. Once we decided what to have, a lovely tall, curly haired blonde guy took our order and was really helpful. I had the Nashville chichen Benedict with 2 hashbrowns and it was really nice. The chicken cooked to perfection, the eggs too and the presentation of the plate was amazing. The English muffin was a little dry but nothing horrible. I recommend this place, for food but specially because you will get the best service and experience ever. Thank you team!

The English muffins and French toast was little bit dry and no cream was served with the French toast. The salmon eggs Benedict was good and the café too. But for me it's a little overrated.

Food pretty tasty, not as good as some of the other locations. Waitress was clearly keen to get rid of us - she took my plate whilst my friend still eating, and then brought our bill and hovered for payment before we had asked for bill, or even finished drinks. Rest of staff were nice, but that spoilt our brunch.

Definitely lives up to the hype. Excellent service, casual atmosphere and the food's just marvelous. Good size portions, you'll want to clear the plate, and well done to you if you do!
