Have been to TGI’s many times in the past but not for a number of years. Was shocked when I saw the price of the dishes on the menu, very expensive compared to other restaurants. Was even more shocked when the dishes arrived & saw the portion sizes. They certainly do not justify the prices! Service - apart from being shown to our seat & delivered food, there wasn’t any. Food - was in all honesty terrible. Luke warm & lacked any real flavour. To top it all off my son was sick later that evening so I now question if his chicken was actually cooked!! Perhaps someone from TGI’s should take a moment to read the reviews as they are not good. I will never be returning.

I am so unhappy with the service I have just received at this location. I went through the drive thru and was asked to wait in a bay as were the 3 cars in front of me. The man at the window said that he had my food and was just making my drink. 10 mins later, a man was walking around looking at registrations of the parked cars and I called to ask if he had my food. He said no and continued to walk around before eventually taking the bag of food back inside. 25 minutes had gone by and I still had not received my food, the man came back outside and asked me what my order was because they had lost it and had to make it from scratch again. No apology was made at any point for this or for the wait. When my food arrived 10 minutes later, I asked for my receipt to which I was told that they would go inside and get it. 10 more minutes passed and I went inside myself to ask about my receipt, I was told they could not give it to me. At this point I had been here for 45 minutes total. When I FINALLY got to eat my order, I was missing my mini fillet

Was missing half my order, waited 50 minutes for it to be re delivered only for it to be cold and greasy.. ending up in the bin. When I called for a Partial refund, I was constantly fobbed off to eventually be told… if I got them from the bin and took them back I would get a £2 refund that’s all he would offer me along with a lot of abuse with it. No customer skills what so ever. This is not the first problem I’ve encountered. Over priced, poor food, poor customer service. AVOID!! AVOID!!

The food was reasonable, the staff very friendly although not that attentive. Disappointed with vegetarian options very limited and then two of them were unavailable. We were two couples, grandparents and grandchildren, eating before a show. The food no better than ‘pub-grub’, chicken burger very dry, other food passable, drinks ordinary. Would possibly go again, if going to a show, but their are many other eateries within walking distance or short drive, so it would be dependant on the weather. We booked and were surprised how few people were in there, further: trying to book a table is very difficult, so I certainly would not bother going through that drama again.

I normally visit the drive-thru with mixed results but I do like the food when it's right and some of the king saver items are great. Staff often seem uninterested, miserable or just plain rude. And I've had whoppers with mayo or ketchup and missing most of the salad, and just lukewarm or cold burgers. This time, I wanted to use the delivery as there was an offer for two for £12.99, ordered at 5.39PM on a Thursday. Two and a half hours later, the order still wasn't on the way when I finally managed to speak with someone to cancel. I spoke with the 'restaurant' around just under 2 hours into waiting and they let me know they had no order details of mine and there was nothing they could do (despite my order changing to preparing here and there via the app). I then spoke with Uber Eats who said it wasn't on them and told me to contact Burger King instead. I eventually found another Uber Eats line to call or whatever is on the email and they said it'd only be another 5-10 minutes, despite this being the 4th or maybe 5th driving going to 'collect' my order. Barely an apology and no offer of a voucher or anything. Awful experience - it's on me for going back despite the staff and inconsistent food, but a joke, nonetheless. I'll stick to Mcdonald's and other establishments instead.
