Fat Jack's in Stevenage

Was missing half my order, waited 50 minutes for it to be re delivered only for it to be cold and greasy.. ending up in the bin. When I called for a Partial refund, I was constantly fobbed off to eventually be told… if I got them from the bin and took them back I would get a £2 refund that’s all he would offer me along with a lot of abuse with it. No customer skills what so ever. This is not the first problem I’ve encountered. Over priced, poor food, poor customer service. AVOID!! AVOID!!

been heer before however when you used to order a kebab everythng was in the pitta bread now everything ends on top of the pitta bread which makes it soggy so un appertising Also they forgot to add my chilli sauce

bought a too good to go bad which was supposed be with £12!!! instead i paid £4 for this greasy, fatty box of chicken bits which is still stinking out the house even after being thrown in the bin. i didn’t even feed it to my dogs, disgraceful. this place should be shut down!

To be clear, this is for Fat Jacks off The Ridgeway, Welwyn Garden City, AL7 - UK. Some of the reviews point at nearby Stevenage but the description of being near a pub called The Attimore Hall. I say all this as i do not wish to discredit any one unduly. I have used them a few times - kebabs, pizza and burgers - I was always a bit thrown by the fact it is set in a warehouse. Up till about a year ago, the food was good. At that point, they had a change of format serving everything stacked in a box with the food pilled on top of each other and also the staff there became pretty unruly. I saw one guy there drunk or high slumped on a counter in the kitchen on a serving area drinking dregs out of milkshake mixers stored there. Another staff memeber shooed him to the back when they saw I noticed. Locals still praise this place - havimg had a long day recently, I went there for a kebab. Again, all the food was piled on top of each other with a pita bread chucked on top. The salad looked like it was chopped by a shovel. The meat was dry and overly salty. The staff looked like they had just walked in from the street wearing no uniform and looked shabby. There is something wrong with this place at the minute - which is a shame as it was a great find. Avoid in it's current state.

Ordered from fat jack on just eat waited a hour and 20mins called and was told to re order then came 10mins later. Half of the order missing and the food was not fully cooked freezing cold and disgusting. Had to cook it properly myself will never order from here again disgusting place. Fat jacks the place your order food but have to cook it yourself.

My kebab was nice but my partners quarter pounders wasn't at all nice.Unfortunately he said it was full of little grizzly lumps and he didnt enjoy any of it.He said it was awful quality meat and it made him gag.He left the rest and ened up making something else to eat

Delivery driver was so rude. He called me few times and was shouting on me if I'm not gonna come where is he (because he couldn't find my adress), he will leave and I'm gonna be the last to get my order. I'm really dissapointed. Overall food was nice.

Used this restaurant a good few times now and, while the food is great, the service stood out. One order came missing a drink. This would normally be a bad thing but the delivery driver intentionally made the effort to bring an extra drink to replace it the next time I ordered. This was many days later.

Also the man who delivered it asked for "A good review" it would have been if there was anything good about it! Quick delivery though. well peed off food is cold ,congilled lard as been left in car the food had a hair in ,they didnt know were the food was on delivery ,the driver was arrogant at door ,i have refund just aswell as this is not edable and even the bags are all completly greecy absolutly disgracful and what a huge wait on the drivers dissapearence will defo not be buying from here again im so starrving and wish i had just ordered from somewhere else

Quick delivery but the food quality was terrible. Chicken was uncooked, very pink and bloody - all 5 pieces. Pizza was undercooked also and tasted like a mix of cardboard and doh.

Very nice pizza exactly the right level of heat. Hot wings just completely addictive also.

The pizza is definitely in the top 3 in Stevenage. The chicken is pretty decent too. Not greasy and good value.

Ordered from here a while ago and was disappointed with it but thought it was a one off so ordered again around a month later only to find this time it was even worse! Jacket potato with prawns er, where were the prawns? About half a dozen at tops with no butter or sauce and a microwaved potato. Kebab well more meat in a box because of the lack of pitta bread, now it might be a new trend to have kebab without pitta but when u select pitta on the order you expect to receive one. No desserts even though they were ordered and was told 'well we come from stevenage and can't remember everything what do you want me to do about it'? Not pay for it which driver wasn't too impressed about but I didn't receive it so money for air I think not! Never again

Food was pre cooked. Chicken shish wasn't cooked properly, had to phone and complain but they sent a fresh one but the rest of my food was cold by the time the fresh one arrived. My meal was ruined. I had trouble with the shop before about the food not being fresh and they then started to send the food hot fresh and tasty, but again sadly it never lasted.. Not sure if I'll be ordering again after this. They have had two chances now! must be the person on shift that day! They should be sacked!!! They are loosing the business customers..
