What a place! Proper good food if you are vegan or not! The fact that if you are vegan you can be put at ease knowing it's a fully vegan menu so no nightmare mix ups! The food is so tasty that even my non vegan friends love it, not a Buddha bowl in site! Tasty with a capital T!

Pong was a place that was a spontaneous thing one evening, now is a must do anytime me and my friends go out. The activities there are brilliant from a regular game of ping pong to an extremely entertaining game of beer pong, with some variations with other spirits. The atmosphere of the place is always lively and jubilant, never has there been a time of boredom. The staff are the most down to earth and spectacular hosts, with Nes, Greg, Mark and Tadi always ready to greet you with the kindest smiles, no matter the occasion. I can only wish that everyone, whether living in Southend or just visiting, have the opportunity to go to this amazing place as it truly is one of the best places for all to visit. If I were to have one last night out at any establishment, it would unequivocally have to be Pong. Thank you Pong for treating me and my friends as if we had know you all for years. We all thank you.

First time back at Southend in over five years & noticed this burger place opposite the entrance to Adventure island. Very reasonable price for a delicious ‘Five guys style’ burger. Brisket burger was fantastic. Mini Mac and cheese balls were also nice. Definitely visit again and recommend to anybody down Southend for the day!

My boyfriend and I shared a gluten free blonde slice. I have struggled with getting gluten free products from bakeries due to my anxiety around the cross contamination however the display is kept completely separate and sealed when taken away from the shop. My boyfriend is not gluten free and said the blonde was so good that he didn’t believe it was gluten free! We have also had a birthday cake (gluten free) which was also delicious

This is ,without doubt,the best and nicest tasting place to eat in all of Southend. Nothing prepared me for how tasty and fresh the food would be, nor how comfortable and welcoming the restaurant was to eat in. The menu is broad enough to suit most if not all hungers,and from the first bite, the quality was immediately noticed and thoroughly enjoyed. The staff are kindness and smiles, and genuinely engage with and care for their customers. They also offer a delivery service as well as an eat in location,which is always speedy and hot. Do your part people spread the word about this place, I cannot recommend enough. If you find any of this hard to believe, go and try yourselves, but I doubt I'll be proven wrong.

Popped in whilst passing and had possibly the best salt beef beigel of my life. Cute and quirky place with a lot of choice on the menu. Will definitely be back.

i had my 18th party at the loyal toast and i highly recommend as it was the most amazing night and i could not have asked for anything better, the buffet was amazing, the dj was outstanding and as a whole the night was out of this world thankyou so much Loyal toast - Moods at the Loyal🩷

I ordered from here for the first time today. My neighbour recommended them to me, I’d never heard of them before !? So we ordered a roast ( beef ) and the big kahuna burger with fries, wings and macaroni cheese. Very happy, just disappointed that I didn’t know about these guys before! Will definitely be ordering again in the near future. If you’ve not tried these before then you’re missing out big time!

Had a good meal here - went for the burger and it was great. Service was good and staff friendly. Very near the Cliffs Theatre, so good for meal before the show. They do vegan burgers also. Parking nearby which is chargeable.

Got a Groupon deal for myself and 2 kids,booked and was told the deal does not work but offered an alternative so I arrived within the hour for them to tell me the groupon has been used already wen I'd just bought it and travelled down there.shockingly bad service and stood arguing with the man as he said I'd used the Groupon already when obviously I hadn't .waste of time.rude.think the man was called tony

Really enjoyed the nachos - homemade, not horrible powdery packet ones. Loads of them. Our teenagers enjoyed their basket chicken meal too. They shared it and there was plenty!
