i had my 18th party at the loyal toast and i highly recommend as it was the most amazing night and i could not have asked for anything better, the buffet was amazing, the dj was outstanding and as a whole the night was out of this world thankyou so much Loyal toast - Moods at the Loyal🩷

Friendly staff fabulous food at a very good price. Had a great fathers day there it is always a good day when we go there never been disappointed.

Food is absolutely amazing my only problem was one girl serving working hard to serve but it started to get busy and had to wait a while to get drinks new owner has definitely turned it around definitely going back

Don't let the outside appearance put you off. Extremely good food, ive not found something i don't like yet. A decent atmosphere and a free pool table.

Met a friend for a couple of beers at lunchtime it quiet but it was on a week day so probably a better atmosphere at weekends.

Such a lovely local and very family friendly pub. Food is always lovely and good value for money. The manager always goes above for welcoming the children, putting on special events for them.

Eat here regularly on a Sunday. Best roast dinner locally all freshly cooked with several different veg. Always struggle to eat it all and it’s half the price of other local pubs. Don’t let the look of the pub put you off, the food is top notch and very good VFM as are the drinks !!

We held our Son’s 18th Birthday at The Loyal Toast. Absolutely amazing night. The bar team were incredible from the get go and catered to our every need. We didn’t want a typical buffet so they provided a variety of dishes from the starters menu. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was. The atmosphere was great and we were made to feel very welcome despite them also hosting a Halloween karaoke night at the same time which we all ended up getting involved in. 10/10 and highly recommend. A massive thank you to Martin and his team!!

Menus are hard to read green and white on a black background in a small font. Fairly stylish but no good if you are partially sighted. Food is good and well priced. Some real ale well looked after.

I've never been in a pub before where my jaw was aching with laughter when I left Top job Martin! Great food, atmosphere & banter This place is well worth a visit!

Lovely food, polite staff and great pub quiz on a Thursday!

I have been visiting this pub for many years now, and it has always been a friendly experience. The staff are happy to chat, which makes a change these days. I would say this is a great little pub family-friendly and well worth a visit should you want a quiet pint. They do have band nights too, which on every occasion i have been has always been a great night.

Had a brilliant night here last night for my 70th birthday. Everyone had a really great time, thanks to all staff

Well what a bloody surprise. Popped in tonight for a drink but then realised they did good food. I had the best fish and chips I have had in years. The staff were friendly, kind to my boy with special needs and bent over backwards to make us feel welcome even though they were run off their feet on quiz night. I would absolutely recommend this home cooking and old fashioned pub. Another lesson in don’t judge a book by its cover.

Debbie and I took her Mum and Aunt to the Loyal Toast for a Sunday lunch. We all had the roast and all I can say it is fantastic, massive portions and very flavoursome. I would recommend this to anyone.

Had an amazing roast dinner at the Loyal toast, the menu is fantastic and great value for money. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend. Will be bringing all the family along again soon.

First time there my mum is a regular and must say had there Sunday roast today and was top notch beef brisket was sublime nice atmosphere and staff were lovely will be back again

Had a lovely meal here tonight. A massive portion of fish and chips with salad etc and a peppercorn sauce sirloin steak with all the trimmings. Excellent cooking and great value. 2 meals and two drinks £31.00

We have shopped regularly at morrisons, and the loyal toast, is just a few doors up, we have never tried this place! I am so happy we did! I had the fish and chips...WOW! the chips were amazing! The fish was delicious. Hubby had sausage and mash with fresh veg and onion gravy, he devoured it! Food was fantastic, priced very reasonably, service amazing, atmosphere very friendly, I would strongly recommend the loyal toast, we will not hesitate to return, thank you so much

It's the local, the food is nice, the staff are great, the landlord is a top guy, the beer is good and the locals are cool. It's no gastro pub but for a local is spot on.

We made a reservation for 15 people for a family lunch Easter Monday and couldn't have been happier with the food and service. The food was freshly made to order, generous portions and good value for money. The staff were friendly and accommodating too. Would highly recommend

Ordered a Sunday roast for collection and was certainly not disappointed. Huge portions of delicious, well cooked quality food at a great price. Friendly staff, and a great service compliment the excellent choices available on the menu and on tap. It’s quality that you wouldn’t expect from a pub next to a supermarket.

Stay away from this restaurant, I ordered pork got chicken my friend asked for beef it was not cooked, both meals were cold we ended up being given our money back it was truly awful i am still wating from a call from the owner of this bar???

Just eaten here, had some chicken wings and a haloumi and chorizo burger. All I can say is WOW!! The food was amazing. I’ve lived in the area for over 10 years and eaten in here a few times but the new landlords by far have hit the nail on the head with the food! AMAZING. Staff are so friendly. Martin is absolutely great and so is Josh! Would highly recommend!

One sad waitress serving whole of outside areas, everyone waiting at least 25 minutes to order drinks and get a menu. To be told I can't serve you I have 2 others at the front serve first. After 50 minutes the food arrived burnt and overcooked. Won't be returning, smoking everywhere not in specific areas so unless you like passive smoking don't take kids there, or anyone with lung problems. Also witnesses the local female dealer dropping off goods to a customer.

Was there last night with friends for drinks. Lovely little seating area out the back. Staff really friendly. Lovely cocktails at an excellent price.

Ordered Roast dinner and puddings for the family for delivery today. Lovely food and will order again. The hiccup we had was dealt with really well and was much appreciated. Many thanks 👍

I would like to leave a one star review but it keeps on being deleted so i will try to leave a two star review. The most hostile, unfriendly landlord i have ever seen in nearly 20 years of visiting pubs. A combination of basil fawlty and the guy from league of gentlemen 'this is a local pub for local people' New customers are most unwelcome and beware this means you if you have been away for a while. It seems i am unable to post the full and honest account of my visit as the review keeps on getting deleted so this is the abridged version but my treatment was far worse than this
