PONG in Southend-on-Sea

Pong was a place that was a spontaneous thing one evening, now is a must do anytime me and my friends go out. The activities there are brilliant from a regular game of ping pong to an extremely entertaining game of beer pong, with some variations with other spirits. The atmosphere of the place is always lively and jubilant, never has there been a time of boredom. The staff are the most down to earth and spectacular hosts, with Nes, Greg, Mark and Tadi always ready to greet you with the kindest smiles, no matter the occasion. I can only wish that everyone, whether living in Southend or just visiting, have the opportunity to go to this amazing place as it truly is one of the best places for all to visit. If I were to have one last night out at any establishment, it would unequivocally have to be Pong. Thank you Pong for treating me and my friends as if we had know you all for years. We all thank you.

Ness and Banks are very welcoming. My friends and I come every Tuesday, it is the highlight of our evening. Couldn’t recommend it enough for group get togethers or just somewhere enjoyable to spend some time with family/friends.

Excellent customer service and great tasting drinks! Great decor and activities like ping pong and beer pong. Have had lots of great experiences with friends here and never a let down. Ness and Banks always make us feel welcome.

Cannot fault this place. Have catered amazingly for my friends and I over the last couple weeks. It is our lady’s unmet before university and this place has allowed us to create amazing memories that will last a lifetime. Will always be coming back here :)

Great place with friendly staff. Went here as part of a stag do, Gregg, Mark, Ruthy and Nessa were all great and got involved played games with us. Good drinks selection and has been done up really nicely. Thanks for a brilliant time

Went here for my little brothers birthday, These guys smashed it , Drinks was 10/10, the staff friendly and absolutely brilliant, the atmosphere was wicked! Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to throw a suprise for a birthday or occasion, thankyou guys! Be back soon!! X

Excellent venue, a bar with something to do. Southend needed a little booster and this is the perfect place to go. You can play Ping Pong or Beer Pong depending on how spicy you want your night to be. Or have a go on the little claw or space invaders machine. And it gets better you don’t even have to play you can just enjoy the BEST cocktails in town, super reasonable, excellent staff and atmosphere. Would highly reccomend anyone to this effortlessly trendy and fun cocktail bar. 🥳🥳

Visited here with some friends and this is exactly what Southend was missing!! Started with some pingpong and worked our way through an awesome list of cocktails from classics to pong creations!! The backseat player is a house favourite!! Perfect for summer refreshment!! Then we moved to beer pong and for only paying for the table we just brought a pitcher of Neckoil (beavertown). What an awesome day this was!! Many thanks to the Pong team for being so welcoming and accommodating!! We will be returning again and again!!!

Southend has been begging for a venue like this, expertly crafted cocktails that taste like they should, an awesome selection of beer (this means beer pong too!) , the decor is really cool too! Definitely recommend for nights out with friends! Watch out, the ping pong can get competitive!

Thank you SO much to Greg and all the team at PONG for making my husband’s birthday celebration such a success! We reserved the main area with 2 ping pong tables for our group of friends. We had prosecco as welcome drinks, an amazing buffet of chicken wings / chicken strips / chips, and so much fun playing ping pong and beer pong. We had the area for 2 hours and then moved into the bar area. Cocktails were all excellent - a great selection! Great value, great atmosphere, and excellent service - we really couldn’t have asked for more! So good to do something different - highly recommend checking out PONG! 🏓🙌🏼
