Very friendly, telephone orders are welcome and the food is delicious

It was a warm evening and we noticed this restaurant had outside seating ( we had our dog with us ) We weren’t necessarily planning on having Vietnamese food but we are glad we did . The staff were young , very friendly and brought our little dog some treats . They took our orders fairly quickly and the food was delivered to the table , hot fresh and very tasty . I particularly liked my crispy tofu noodle dish . Husband had Pho and said it was very good , daughter had katsu ( so was mixed Asian food ) and a bubble tea . Couldn’t fault it at all

My local, Gemma makes us feel at home and her food is lovely with decent portions and great value.

Visited after a lovely post-Christmas walk along the canal. I ordered a bowl of soup and my husband only wanted a coffee. This cafe is in a beautiful setting and the menu looked good. However, I waited ages for the soup to arrive and in fact thought they had forgotten about me so I went to ask. I was told there were two other orders in front of me. My husband had long finished his coffee when it did eventually arrive. Great potential here but the service needs to be sorted. Hopefully this was just a blip on the day we visited.

Best Chinese /fish bar around the area go every year good food great price fish is lovely fresh and really tasty staff are really friendly

Sunday lunch for a roast dinner, everything was just as we liked it. Plenty of gravy, roast and potatoes etc. Service was quick, choice of 5 puddings was equally good. All round just about spot on.

Absolutely bang on! A delicous cooked breakfast and some flat chips. The lady serving us was lovely and made a cracking cup of tea, defo better than stopping at a services and having rubbish fast food!

Nice beer and friendly owner/staff. Dog friendly. Stopped doing food earlier this year due to the drop in business over covid. A shame. May start again but unsure.

Great place to stay. A friend and I cycled to the area and stayed here overnight. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. The room is a generous size with all the facilities you would want, and you have access to an outside deck area with lounge chairs and table which is ideal on a sunny day. The breakfast was also lovely. The location was great as it’s a 5 min walk from 2 good pubs and a post office/shop

Nice little coffee-housw with excellent service, great coffee & breakfast on walking distance from station and city-centre. Nice place!

A long wait but nice food ** There did not appear to be many visitors to Talgarth that day, but even these limited numbers seemed to overwhelm the catering establishments. The first place warned us of a lengthy wait before we would be served, so we went to the Strand. A bit quirky with traditional style tables and lace cloths. Shelves of books a bit like the cafes in nearby (and more interesting) Hay on Wye. Quite hard to attract any attention to place an order and over an hour before we got any food. Off-hand (actually downright rude) and very unapologetic for these delays. I myself am apologetic for being such an inconvenience and will ensure I don't bother them again. Having written this while impatiently waiting, I have now been fed and this was tasty and decent size portions, not massively overpriced.

Treetops is only about two miles from where I live, have to say I have only gone there for funerals and weddings, but it's a nice place and very popular as I said.. it's just myself and my wife like to keep trying different venue's … it's always fresh and clean and the staff have always been really pleasant...

Staying locally and came by today for some lunch with my 2 boys after finding info about the cafe in the information pack. food was very tasty; best bacon, brie and cranberry panini I have had. staff were very friendly and the atmosphere in the cafe was great. cat wait to come back on our next visit.

Enjoyed an exceptional afternoon tea yesterday with friends for an 18th birthday. Food was delicious. Plenty of everything including a proper, home made trifle like my mum used to make. Lovely little personal touches for the birthday girl. They made her feel special. The staff were so welcoming and friendly so thank you to them all.
