We haven't had Chinese takeaway from her for about 6 years and boy was it good Tonight! Just as good as the last time if not better. Prompt and polite service from Simon as always and the food was delicious and piping hot. Very sad to hear they are closing down soon as they have been open for over 40 years but I wish them well for the future

Really nice coffee shop. When we walked in we were greeted by the smell of freshly roasted coffee... mmm! Interesting decor and comfy places to sit. There were six of us but we managed to find an eclectic group of chairs for a chat over their lovely coffee and drinks. Our friends decided to say for some food.

We’ve lived in Colwyn Bay for 23 years and just recently got a cheeseburger and chips at this kiosk. They were absolutely gorgeous, and their hot chocolate was amazing. The owner and staff are fantastic too, they will even come out to your car in this freezing weather with your food, can’t praise them enough.

First time use this chip shop. Greeted by going mamer of staff took order and payment asked do want salt and vinger? Records on sip, other staff then due to more customers coming in asked me number of times can I help you reply been served, as order was been done I asked staff member is that my order? As she had not put any Salt or vinger on she then said yes I reminded her of this, why does staff not look at order as young staff member clearly identified s&v but no, when s&v was applied it was a waist of time. Portion arenpoor for the prices better elsewhere. Staff training i feel on customer service as no thankyou etc jolts takes nothing to be polite especially when people are spending hard earned money.

Went as a couple on valentines day, and when we arrived we were the only people in the restaurant (and had a booking) however the waitress directed us to sit on a sofa before we could go to our table, this was just an indicator of how the night was going to go... I'll start with the positives, the food was hot and tasty, and there was a good selection of vegetarian options, I definitely suggest the paneer chilli masala! My vegetable vindaloo was not spicy at all however, which was disappointing. Not the best indian food I have ever eaten, but not the worst... Unfortunately the negatives far outweighed the positives. The service was slow and odd, to say the least. The waitress took our drinks order then proceeded to go and wrap cutlery instead of fetching the drinks, eventually they arrived, followed by our popadoms. Our dirty plates from the popadoms were left with us whilst we ate our starters. A long wait later our main courses arrived. Once we had nearly finished the main courses, the smoke alarm went off. No apologies from any of the staff, and no indication that it was going to be turned off. We asked for the bill, and the only other table asked for their food to takeaway, as there was no indication the deafening noise was going to end. We were then informed there was no card machine, so I had to sit listening to the smoke alarm for ten minutes whilst my partner found a cash point. A little advance warning if this would go a long way! As we walked round to the taxi rank we could still hear the alarm sounding. Overall a weird experience, made worse by the constant alarms and chirping from the bar area, and the deafening smoke alarm at the end! A lack of music in a completely empty restaurant makes for a very uncomfortable experience. If this hadnt been chosen and booked as a valentines treat by my partner I doubt I would have visited, and I cant say that I will visit again, as the food quality did not outweigh the issues listed above.

Having been here a few times for the small plates which have always been amazing, the Sunday dinner was recommended to me, so we thought we'd give it a try. Absolutely gorgeous so tasty we had the beef which was cooked to perfection the Yorkshire pudding was massive. All the veg was delicious The waiting on team were attentive and polite. The decor I this restaurant is stunning modern and stylish. We will definitely be returning for sunday roast again in the near future.

This was our first time trying Kirin Palace as our usual Chinese is closed for a few weeks. Food took 90 minutes to arrive, and when it’s arrive it was luke warm and definitely not worth the wait. I asked for fried rice with no egg which they did for me but it was so bland. The salt and chilli chips were stale and tasted strange, neither salted or chilli, and the curry sauce had a strong clove and 5 space flavour. Only had a few forkfuls of each thing and threw the rest. Would not recommend and we’ll wait for Royal Dragon to reopen as we’ve never had a problem with them.

Stayed for one night due to the stormy weather. Room was spacious, modern and clean. Great bathroom with shower. Lovely warm and friendly welcome from Kelly and was super friendly. Enjoyed the pool night. Customers were very friendly and good beer and prices. Kelly arranged for a breakfast bab to go at 07:00 and lady (sorry do not know her name) that was sorting out breakfast was warm and friendly. So overall 5* and would highly recommend it.
