We’ve lived in Colwyn Bay for 23 years and just recently got a cheeseburger and chips at this kiosk. They were absolutely gorgeous, and their hot chocolate was amazing. The owner and staff are fantastic too, they will even come out to your car in this freezing weather with your food, can’t praise them enough.

We arrived on Colwyn Bay sea front at circa 10am ready to pop around the corner for the 2nd days play in the Glamorgan v Lancs county Championship game and as tradition has it we always stop here for a large currant teacake and mug of coffee before completing the 5 mins drive to park outside the ground (Colwyn Bay CC) for the short stroll to the day's play. A pretty spot which is easy on the eye whether having a look up and down the Prom or out to sea. Always a bit fresh at this time of morning mind ! Lots of nearby parking which is free but which attracts a small charge the further up the Prom. you travel - most peculiar !!

Used to call here most days on our walk on the prom. Unfortunately it changed hands this time last year and now it is awful. It was very popular with locals and was usually so busy you couldn't get a seat but now as we pass there are very few locals and not many visitors. The type of place you go once and never again. The plastic tablecloths have not just got today's tomato sauce on them but a few days. The "chef" who brought out my husband's burger had the most disgusting fingernails we have ever seen. A little goldmine that has certainly seen better days.

Used to love stopping here for a coffee and tea cake when out with the dog. It's awful. I asked for a strong tea for my husband got milky dishwater. The coffee was okay but the staff were awful. Had to wait for the tea cakes, you used to get them delivered to your table, whilst waiting the staff were effing to each other, seats have got signs stuck on them do not sit here, tacky plastic flowers on the table. It's horrible stay away.

Have been going for a bacon barn and a coffee a couple of times a month for a while, coffee was good as was the bacon barm but it changed hands and not for the better, coffee was dishwater and the bacon barm was cold and greasy, needless to say I won't be going back!

Whilst the vege-burger tasted better than it looked, many of the little things that made this place such a pleasant stop seem to have gone - the new staff are not as nice, no soya milk and no dog treats. As someone else says - a shame.

Visited here regularly for years but no more!!! Had breakfast today absolutely awful - burnt toast on toastie hidden on the inside, the cheapest of cheap sausages and completely overlooked bacon. My tip go somewhere else.

My wife and I occasionally stop here for breakfast when out walking and have done so for many years. Although the food has always been good we both commented on how much tastier the bacon and sausage was on the breakfast baps on our most recent visit. A couple of slices of Bara Brith and a mug of tea and you are set up for the day. Keep up the good work. See you again soon.

The service on our visit last week was disappointing, the food took quite a while even though it wasn't very busy - several orders delivered to other tables were wrong. Hopefully the new owners will 'iron out' the problems quickly as this is such a great 'pitstop'. Still we'll try it again soon. Ps. As a regular visitor to this lovely little friendly kiosk, I must say that the staff and the owners work hard and keep the tables and kiosk spotlessly clean and tidy. The range of food offered is varied and all cooked from fresh which some means that at busy times there can be a wait, but it it most definitely worth while. There is always a wide range of friendly people there, and the atmosphere is very inviting and friendly. What a wonderful spot to stop for a cup of tea, ice cream or even one of the tasty burger. I highly recommend visiting if you are ever in the area, you won't be disappointed.

The Coffee Pot kiosk is a great place to grab a cuppa & snack on a nice day, then take a seat and chat with friends or just relax and look out to sea. They sell pretty much everything you'd expect in a little seaside kiosk, and the service is usually very good.It does, however, tend to attract the posers - the kind of folks who are desperate to show off their new Porsche or Mercedes! Next time you visit, look out for expensive German cars parked up as their owners spend two hours sipping a ninety pence brew whilst talking loudly for all to hear about how their inherited businesses are doing so well...!

Tried to charge for a squeeze of Costco ketchup on my son’s chips after I spent £15 on drinks and chips. It’s easy to spend my hard earned money ANYWHERE else. Usually really like going out of my way to support local independent business that go the extra mile to attract more tourists to the area…. Won’t be coming back here unfortunately. Shame as the location is great. Perhaps this is a little petty, but I thought it just plain mean.
