We needed somewhere welcoming to eat an early dinner prior to going to a show elsewhere in the town, Vasco is excellent. Perhaps more of a bistrot than a restaurant, it is relaxed and welcoming. The food is authentic, freshly prepared and wonderful. We shared a cheese and meat platter to start, followed by the mixed meats skewers. Washed down with a bottle of Portugese white, the bill came to an incredibly reasonable Ā£66. Only problem was that service was slow - long wait for the starter, so we had to rush our food a little. Next time we'll pace that better ... and there will be a next time

Fabulous service! Chef was about to finish for the night but squeezed us in and even accommodated one vegetarian - couldnāt ask for more. Food was hot and delicious. Lovely staff who were really friendly. Was a customer for years with the previous management and will definitely be back!

I ordered a vegetable dansaak because thatās what I felt like (Iām not a veggie)! What I got was a potato curry, the sauce was nice and I accept that potato can be considered a vegetable but to have a veg curry thatās totally composed of new potatoes is a liberty! No cauliflower, no carrots, no aubergine! Come on get your act together and give us some delicious veg and not bland spuds š”

Wow what a bad first impression of Wrexham, walked in to no jne around a bunch of cash left out of the tills so maybe just opening up, however despite the lovely ride in and views I was greeted by a small guy by the name I later found out as Gary, very unwelcoming and hostile attitude not even a greet or hey how are you just stared at me so asked is it ok if I order a pint n he just again just stood staring at me felt very uncomfortable and it was rather a bizarre experience to where I stated I'm just going to leave to which he then started turning lights off and almost pushing me out wouldn't recommend unless it's Halloween... What a weirdo!

We had a lovely family get together at The Kings Mills, pleasant staff and reasonably priced food. We also met someone called Gary, must be different to the guy in the previous review because he wasn't short and was quite jovial, our family were welcomed by all the staff and customers, and will be back soon. We visit the area fairly often.

Brilliant experience at Scaramantica. *Excellent* service, very tasty food, speedy arrival of meals/drinks. Reasonable price points for the quality of the food. Classic but extensive menu, good variety for vegetarian diners. Will be back soon šš»

Nice looking place BUT will not be recommending to friends/family. The absolute fuss of the staff and the silly rules with the bell and rope across the door to enter and exit the tea room are ridiculous. My brother had a toastie which was such a disappointment. Ā£4.10 for paper thin bread with not much filling and no garnish on the plate. It literally looked like plain toast when they put the plate down on the table, not appealing to the eye at all. Then we got up to pay and the staff can see you through the kitchen door window but again you have to ring a bell for them to come out even though you can see them just standing one meter away just looking at you.
