La Scaramantica in Cardiff

Brilliant experience at Scaramantica. *Excellent* service, very tasty food, speedy arrival of meals/drinks. Reasonable price points for the quality of the food. Classic but extensive menu, good variety for vegetarian diners. Will be back soon 👌🏻

Great pizza and great service. We had the house pizza and it’s so tasty. Staff are really attentive, can’t ask for more. Cocktails are so good.

We didn't have any dinner reservations when visiting the area so decided to try Scaramantica as we passed. Even though they were fully booked, our host/the owner was so acccomodating and squeezed us in for a quick dinner. Our host and all staff were so friendly, made us feel so welcome and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend and thank you!

Went for an early meal on a Monday night It was quiet and we were welcomed by the manager who seated us by the window. Must admit that the reflection of the lights in the restaurant gave a nice feeling as if there were lights outside where the eating tables were. The washroom was clean and lit up by sensor switches as you walked downstairs. There was pleasant music on and the staff was polite and accommodating. The wine we chose was very good. Downstairs could be suitable for about 15-20 people for a small gathering. Would certainly recommend and go again.

Lovely place to eat, they managed to fit us in for a quick pizza and cocktails and both were wonderful! Service was lovely as well and me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed everything :)

Can't say this was a really authentic Italian experience ...coupled by the fact that they charged us £7.50 for a glass of wine which does not relate to the prices on their menu. I emailed them re this and have yet to have a response after several weeks. Very disappointing on several accounts .

We ordered for delivery and had a terrible takeaway experience. What arrived was cold and tasteless. Pizzas were soggy bottomed. And a bigger problem than that was that half our didn’t arrive. No answer on the phone and had to get in touch electronically receiving a reply days later. No apology or rectification of any kind.

Best starters, best pizza, best dessert, good atmosphere, friendly staff. We will be come back soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Booked table for 6 at 5pm before going to Tom Jones open concert at Cardiff Castle. Amazing staff, Italian family. Very quick service. Abundance of choices in the menu. Super super pizza and starters. Bit expensive £180 total (only 3 beers) but worth it and I will go again and again.

Lovely meal - delicious pizzas. Daughter said it was the nicest pizza ever. Good service. Comfortable venue. Overall really lovely and highly recommended

We had a superb time, celebrating my daughters 30th birthday lunch here. We each had a pizza which came straight out of the huge pizza oven at the back of the restaurant. Each pizza was divine. My daughter had four cheeses, a crisp base with soft crispy doughy edges, cooked to perfection. My son-in-law went for the lasagna pizza, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Very modern take on an ancient recipe. I chose the meat one (can’t remember the name) and it was equally wonderful. A good selection of cheese, tomato and various meats. Again, this was on a very crisp based pizza pie that had come just out of the oven. My daughter had the tiramisu, which was as good as my own – high praise indeed. They made it special by putting a candle on the dessert and singing happy birthday and placing a crown on her head. We all had a wonderful time, and we will definitely be back.

A really wonderful meal, with great decor and brilliant Italian service & hospitality. A truly memorable pizza Romano and amazing whitebait. Highly recommended 👍

I recently visited La Scaramantica Pizzeria with my partner and his family, and it was the best pizza I have ever eaten! All of the staff we interacted with were fantastic, and Alessandro even recommended some cocktails for us to order. The pizzas were cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. We also ordered mozzarella sticks and chicken dunkers for starters, which were lovely too. The restaurant itself was constantly kept clean and tidy, even though it was very busy. The service was very fast and all the waiters and waitresses were very kind and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Excellent every time we go, and we have been plenty of times. They are a lot quieter at lunch but the service is still very prompt and the food excellent. It's true that they get a bit frantic in the evenings, but you get served soon enough and they always have everything on the extensive menu.
