The Kings Mills in Wrexham

We had a lovely family get together at The Kings Mills, pleasant staff and reasonably priced food. We also met someone called Gary,must be different to the guy in the previous review because he wasn't short and was quite jovial, our family were welcomed by all the staff and customers, and will be back soon. We visit the area fairly often.

Wow what a bad first impression of Wrexham, walked in to no jne around a bunch of cash left out of the tills so maybe just opening up, however despite the lovely ride in and views I was greeted by a small guy by the name I later found out as Gary, very unwelcoming and hostile attitude not even a greet or hey how are you just stared at me so asked is it ok if I order a pint n he just again just stood staring at me felt very uncomfortable and it was rather a bizarre experience to where I stated I'm just going to leave to which he then started turning lights off and almost pushing me out wouldn't recommend unless it's Halloween... What a weirdo!

Went to the Kings Mills for a family meal on a Saturday evening. Sound pub grub (curry, fish and chips, ice cream, chocolate fudge cake), served with minimal delay and excellent and attentive staff (Kia).

We came for my parents anniversary and it was great! Food was delicious, and the staff were wonderful. We were served by Kia and she was lovely and super quick :)

Great lunchtime menu - great value and big portions. Kia was a fab server- very friendly and welcoming. Also dog friendly. Our pooch was made a fuss of and welcomed too!

Excellent service by danielle she was very helpful and even offering to go outside and get my daughter from the pub park when her food arrived, the food was excellent, all the family cleaned there plates even my daughter who can be quite fussy but she really enjoyed it, will definitely be going back, brilliant staff and cosy environment.

Another big shoutout for Kia once again see looked after us in her usual friendly manner,the yet again was amazing handling kebabs to die for this is an all round lovely pub friendly customers can’t wait to call in again

The Kingsmill is a lovely pub, clean and welcoming for us and our two little dogs. My husband and I had their burger and chips……..wow, absolutely fabulous! Burgers were juicy and bacon was crispy, everything was piping hot. Yummy onion rings too. Service was brilliant by the lovely Kia. They even had a jar of dog biscuits you could help yourself on the bar and Kia gave us a bowl of water for the dogs. Thank you Kingsmill Pub for a lovely eating out experience. Welcoming our pooches too meant we could visit you in the first place. Then you topped it off with amazing food and service! 10 out of 10! Highly recommended!

Visited here today and very surprised at the place, well decorated, lovely clean tables, menus on the table and cutlery. Had not seen they did a 2 or 3 course lunch on a special. We all opted for the 3 as as £12.50 thought it would be small portions, Ladies had a bottle of Pinot Grigio wine at £15.50 and 2 pints of beer. When the starters came we could not believe the size, we had all opted for pate there were 2 pieces quite big band 4 pieces of toast more than enough.The mains followed shortly and there was 2 fish and chips good portions and 2 ham egg and chips again good size. We then opted for a trifle, and banana splits for dessert again lovely and well presented. What great value, staff were great. First time here for a long time but certainly will be returning shortly. Well done to all.

One of the best toastie I’ve ever tasted came with chips but couldn’t eat it all as the toastie was so big! Really good value for money, staff so lovely especially Kia x

Lovely roast dinner and reasonably priced. Really friendly staff, so much so, that we have booked another table for tomorrow evening to avoid disappointment of not getting a table.

Returned for another visit and was not disappointed the food and service were just as amazing as the first visit.

We had a lovely time here. It was clean and tidy. The staff were polite, friendly and welcoming. The bar lady had excellent knowledge of the menu. Their menu has lots of choice. There is an outdoor play area which my friends child loved. Once she came in colouring was offered to keep her entertained. The toilets smelt fresh and were clean. It had a nice atmosphere. There were some locals in who chatted with us. Made us feel welcomed and relaxed. We will definitely be back here again for the amazing, hot, fresh and delicious food.

Lovely and well presented pub. Food was brilliant. The only down side was the staff member who served us. She was not very polite and seemed not really interested or engaged. Would love to eat again at the pub if the customer service improves.
