We all had a lovely meal , very enjoyable.

A group of us traveled over from Ireland for a horse competition and we ate here on our last night. Not only the food was fabulous the staff were great too and very pleasant. Thanks so much to Cora & Owen for great service & Chef Vinnie and manager Voral

We were both there for support, and also me as the driver, with the 3rd one (male) being a member of the Port Sunlight Seadogs (Shantie Singers/Musicians), Wirral, as they were booked to perform at the folk club. The venue was lovely, the staff were very friendly, helpful, considerate and obliging. The atmosphere was welcoming. Great selection of drinks, but sadly, with limited free time, we didn't sample the food, although what I saw did look very appetising. I would recommend giving it a visit if you're in the area and, if possible, I suggest you book a table in advance for food. Thursday night, there's a folk club upstairs, and it was also busy downstairs! We had a great time, great venue, lovely staff, and of course, Great Entertainment, as always, from the Port Sunlight Seadogs. Look them up on the Internet, or you could try TicTok!

Meal was ok but forgot to put roast potatoes on my husband plate so had to share mine with him bit to much veg not enough gravy beef was cooked perfect Yorkshire puddings were dry and hard

Evening out with friends and the pub/restaurant was busy. Our food orders were taken promptly by a polite friendly waitress and every meal that each of us ordered was served quickly and piping hot. We all cleared our plates and enjoyed everything. Prices are good value and I would recommend you give The Nags Head a try, I will certainly be booking again soon.

I enjoyed my time at the Nags Head. The bar service was good and I didn't have to wait long to get served. Atmosphere was really good. I would definitely come backvon a later date.

No vegetarian cider as I drink cider I only know of the Thatchers and Recordaling

Nice bar. Just picked the wrong day to go when Wales Rugby team was on live TV. 😢

All in all a great place to take the family for a meal, my kids are pretty fussy but always finish what they have. I also come before Wrexham afc football games as there is a good atmosphere and a good crowd, nice burger before heading to the game but lately it's been a hotdog. Staff are very attentive and friendly always checking up on us. Definitely do recommend this pub to family and friends.

I have been waiting to bring my mum to the nags for years! She lives in derby and visits every 3 months, due to it always being busy we have never had the chance to get in. I attend the nags weekly for food and the quiz. Everytime I come the experience out does itself and the 17th was included in this! Very excited to come back with my mum as she loved it.

Yet again, there are no more superlatives. Lucy, Coral, Amy, Jane and John are just like wow. Food always superb. My wife and I been coming here for 3 years and never found fault.

Cira was a great waitress. Polite, friendly and very professional. Compliments to the chef Vinnie your food was brilliant.

I booked the function room for a baby shower and all the staff were so amazing! Very accommodating and the room was perfect for what we wanted it for! Can’t thank them enough!

Very good service, and food. Clientele were very sweary for a family visit but that is not the venues fault. Availability was a bit poor, drinks and meals not available but still showing on the app to order. However what was available was good and I would return.

We just had a drink here on a visit to Wrexham. It's a really nice pub, nice atmosphere, great staff and will definitely visit again, when I am back. The food menu looks really good and I look forward to trying it next time

Went for Christmas day lunch,couldn't fault it to honest. Good hot food,plenty of it and excellent service.

I personally did not like the turkey as was pressed turkey I felt it had no taste. More stuffing on the plate than Turkey, pigs in blanket spoiled by being Smokey also gravy / turkey had a funny unpleasant taste. Veg ok. Dessert was really lovely . To expensive for the price . Sorry but I had to be honest . Would maybe have enjoyed normal menu better

Went as a party of 4 , 3 beef dinners and 1 turkey . Plates were warm ,which I like , all the food was hot and cooked just right ,couldn't fault anything at all. Well worth the price If you are going for a meal it is best to book as it was really busy today .

Just passing and called in for a pint, found that they had Marstons Pedigree and that made my day. Sat and glanced through their menu which was filled with reasonably priced food. Decided to try the Atlantic Cod with chips and mushy peas. Left feeling very happy and even the cold wind couldn’t keep a smile off my contented face.

Staff were very friendly and helpful myself I wanted my egg cooked hard and it was perfect. Lauren wanted her chicken different than on the menu no problem. You would be surprised how many times I asked for a hard yoke and it come runny.

Went to another Marston pub the night before (The Plas Coch) and ordered the same food which wasn’t good at all so after coming here the week before for a lunchtime special, we thought we’d try the same food here to see if it was any better. We weren’t disappointed. Steak cooked to perfection and, unlike the Plas Coch, I was given a steak knife to eat my steak with. Jane served us and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend the food and the ambiance was perfect too as I’m not too keen on noisy pubs when I’m eating.

Fabulous food, absolutely worth travelling for. Lovely atmosphere. We went late lunch time but service was still swift. Friendly waiting staff. Clean pub. Pleasant bar staff. Cannot tell you how impressed we were with the food!!

Went booked for Sunday lunch and im honestky the worst person to rate of a roast as I'm very fussy but I'm going to say I was really happy. Booking again for next weekend! The apple crumble and custard was top tier too! My mrs and kids loved it there too.

Great experience today. Experience has been lacking since Chris left, but Lucy went out of her way today to make sure that we were not only served quickly, but made to feel really really welcome. Really happy to see this level of service returning and I am already looking forward to going back.

Served by Lucy and Coral on a quiet, rainy Monday night. Had dinner elsewhere but followed up with a few bevs here. Always good vibes. Two cocktails for £11.25 totally helped with #cosylives . The two servers were lovely and even shared their last two sweeties with me and my girlfriend. Give these girls a raise! Tip them well and buy some sweets next time your around to pay forward.

Food over priced for what you get, i had chicken burger and fries which were no better than McDonald's but twice the price. Decor needs to be freshened up and a good clean wouldn't go a miss (tables sticky, floor greasy).

This is a lovely little pub which has been at the heart of Wrexham for as long as I can remember and which my whole family has frequented for years. I go there regularly with my elderly father and we are always met with a warm welcome. Staff are friendly and professional, food is always very good and the environment cosy and relaxed. The Nags caters for all, those just wanting a drink after work or on a night out, to those wanting a meal, I would highly recommend.

Went in for a family meal and wish i never bothered 2.30pm in the afternoon and there was people out of their minds on booze and drugs A party came in and sat in front of us shouting and swearing as loud as possible scaring the kids. Never again

It was lovely, staff were welcoming. Unfortunately the grill had broken just before we arrived but that’s no one fault. Good was of a good standard and would definitely go again.
