The Chapel in Conwy

Beautiful restaurant with an incredible ambience, food and staff are lovely. Quality but not pretentious and reasonable prices.

This is certainly a hidden gem. The food was amazing, service fantastic, lovely live music and the setting was amazing. We had a wonderful meal and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Sadly we did not receive a very warm welcome!! After deciding to take our son and his girlfriend to this beautiful little place that we always visit a few times in the year when we are in the area. This time I was very disappointed with the gentleman that was serving us, we sat outside as we have a dog and needed to be away from other people.. my husband went to the bar to.order drinks, the waiter came out with our order to say 'oh we don't usually have passer by's in just for drinks' making us feel unwanted and uncomfortable.. after leaving he seemed to he hovering behind us ! We do have a reactive dog and his comments were ' nice dog, not' again very rude indeed. So overall a very negative experience which has made me feel the gentleman in question would benefit from a customer service course for not only his benefit as rather ignorant but for the benefit of the business. The gentleman was quite tall and was serving Saturday lunchtime. May give this place a wide berth in future.

What a fantastic evening. It was very quiet as it was a Thursday and out of season in early March for Conwy, but nevertheless we felt we were looked after like royalty. Ryan the duty manager was super attentive, polite and helpful, the restaurant is a stunning chapel conversion that has been so tastefully done. The quality and presentation of the food was amazing. I had been keen to eat here for a long time, since a most enjoyable afternoon in the sunshine on the beautiful terrace a while ago. It was well and truly worth the wait. My friend and I had the small plates lunch deal with a bottle of wine. We were absolutely blown away by the warm welcome, stunning interior, beautiful menu, gorgeous looking and tasting food and excellent service. I can't wait to book again and am even tempted to stay over, even though I live locally,as the rooms look amazing.
