We were back from a long walk in the local area and were served very quickly for a late lunch on a Sunday. Delicious milkshake and toasted sandwiches, nothing fancy just inexpensive well cooked food. Great tea and cakes also. We will be back again when next on holiday. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Your afternoon tea was bought for us as a gift. We booked a table one month ago for 3pm on the 6th February 2020. Having made a special journey into Cardiff, we arrived at 2.45pm only to be told that there was no evidence of our booking on your system. After much deliberation with the chef, the lady on reception was able to squeeze us in. After our table was prepared, we were shown to a dark and cold dining room. We were the only diners. The lady was very helpful and we were able to choose sandwiches from a small selection. They were freshly prepared albeit only three fingers each. The tea was fine, but the small scones were not home-made (disappointingly) and the cream was squirty and not as advertised in one of your previous review replies as being clotted cream. We asked about this and were told that clotted is not an option. So we made do with butter. The three small (and we mean small) pieces of cake were dry and bore no resemblance to those advertised on your website. We left most of them. All in all, the worst afternoon tea experience that we have ever encountered. Atmosphere was poor and would have preferred sitting in the warm lounge area.

I recently booked here for our group and the hotel is without doubt the best hotel in North Wales! From the beautiful bedrooms, to the incredible local food, Ty'n Rhos cannot be faulted. The staff are all exceptionally well trained, professional and know how to excel when it comes to providing first class hospitality. All the staff are super friendly and accommodating (especially for groups). The hotel is exceptionally well presented and kept extremely clean. I have already booked again for next year without any hesitation. This hotel is only going to continue going from strength to strength so I would book your holiday to North Wales soon!

Cozy welcoming pub, Great atmosphere. Great menu and tastes amazing, chicken wings, pork belly, chicken burger and gammon steaks were all very tasty, great quality of food and great portion size. Log fire is a lovely touch, owner, staff was very welcoming friendly. Would definitely recommend and will return. Thank you.

Stumbled upon this restaurant on Halloween and wow the best tapas I have ever had. The flavours were amazing and it was the perfect ending to our holiday in Tenby.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. We had ham salad and smoked salmon salad at £7.25 each which was very reasonable. Very generous portions of ham and salmon and nice mixed salad leaves with tomato and cucumber, and balsamic glaze. Then toasted tea cake and coffee, again very nice and delivered with a smile. Will definitely go here again.

Fantastic 2 night stay in the B&B rooms above the family run gastro pub. A warm welcome (even to an Englishman 😂) from everyone both sides of the bar! Dog friendly and very much a countryside theme in the decor throughout. Close to many scenic attractions including Carly ruins, long empty beaches and shopping. Several cask ales on draught and a full compliment of wines and spirits. Full menu from breakfasts, lunches, and evening meals using local produce. Real fires and cosy rooms to have your meal. Clean and stylish rooms to relax in afterwards, with a good night’s sleep.

We visited from Bristol suburbs. I didn't pre book and arrived at the Gurkha Inn wanting to have a couple of drinks before our meal. They had a lot of tables booked but agreed they could fit us in later. They got a table free half an hour later. We ordered 2 main courses and 2 rice's. The portions were large and delicious. Excellent food, quick and friendly service. The prices were also very low. Anna

We came here for a light Sunday lunch without having booked but that was not a problem even though it became very busy. We were warmly welcomed and invited to sit where we wanted. We chose the pork baps with roast potatoes, stuffing balls and gravy. Hardly a light bite but absolutely delicious - all perfectly cooked and piping hot. The bottle of wine also went down very nicely indeed! And all of this with friendly service and at a very reasonable price. A shame we live so far away but we will definitely return.
