Twelve at the mews in Pembrokeshire

Fantastic little restaurant. Lovely ambience and the food was amazing, full of flavour and you get a sense of the level of preparation that has gone into making it. (Parmesan Hasslebank potatoes). Here in Tenby for 3 nights but will try to squeeze another visit in to try some of the rest of the menu. If you are local or visiting and haven’t been. Get yourself there. 😊👍

We had a great night at Twelve. We had amazing Tapas food and wine. All the food was perfect and so tasty and the chocolate ganache dessert was fantastic. We had wine and then finished the evening with an amazing orange gin. The staff were lovely and the dishes came very quickly. We were also given a free shot each of strawberry tequila which was soooo good. Definitely recommend and will be going back. Thank you 🍽️🍹🥂❤️

One of my favourite restaurants ever! I cannot recommend Twelve enough. The service, the food, atmosphere it’s all great. The food has always been good but they’ve even managed to better it further! Always have a warm welcome from the team, nothing is ever too big of an ask. I’d eat there all week if I could. Perfect for couples and a group of friends. 10/10

We have been to Tenby many times to visit relatives, but this was our first time at Twelve at the Mews. Can't think why, as it was excellent!! Not sure if it was because it was out of season, but certain drinks were half price before 7pm (but you can't line them up for later!!) and the food was excellent. The service was very good, with the waitress explaining the food and sizes, how many small plates we should order etc. The duck tacos were especially delicious but everything we had was very tasty. To be honest, the reason that we haven't been before is probably that that in the summer it's very busy and looked like a trendy place for young people. Out of season it was quiet, and us oldies thought it was great! We'll be elbowing the youngsters out of the way in the summer!!

Lovely decor and good atmosphere but the food and service let it down. A touch expensive, I had the Tiger prawns which when arrived was 5 prawns and some pretty airy toast for £11. The dessert menu was disappointing, very uninspired list such as waffle, chocolate brownie, sorbet . I had the sorbet, which tasted like it was from a cheap supermarket. The staff seemed uninterested in serving the tables, it was very hard to catch their attention and order more drinks or courses. A shame, as with a bit of a more interesting menu, this would be a great little gem.,

Someone recommended Twelve to us and we had to go early as all the tables were booked later. It's tapas style in that the dishes are small and you have about 3 each. All were lovely. I'd definitely go again and would recommend it to others.

First time eating at Twelve and it was a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and polite, the atmosphere was lovely, I like the full glass doors open, given an outdoor feel, but sat inside. The food was great, loved the garlic bread and Katsu curry. Thought the prices were reasonable compared to some other restaurants in town. Definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere here, with a good selection of well thought out small plates. Recommended. I would recommend booking as the place does get busy.

The small plates really are small, so don't expect much to share (two prawns, two scallops for example). Whenever I've had tapas before it's been possible to share plates between a few people. I also agree that the combinations were a bit hit and miss and there wasn't much variety.

We arrived ten minutes early and after being told our table wasn’t ready we were right next to an empty bar so we asked if we could perhaps sit and have a drink while we waited. We were told by a young girl that this was not possible as no seats by the bar were available (despite there being nobody there) so we left and returned 10 minutes later. Following this when at the desk we explained we booked over a week ago to be seated outside so we were very confused when we got pointed to an indoor seat… we were then told “there was no free tables so we were booked indoor” despite there before two free tables. Trying to not let this ruin our night we sat down and ordered from the very limited selection of food. While eating we saw a group arrive early to their booking to then be pointed to the bar to have a drink while they waited (by a different barman who seemed much more eager to help). At the end of our meal we asked the waiter very politely why we were not offered this option as perhaps there was an explanation, he told us he would be back after he checked … he never came back and avoided all eye contact. We decided to pay the bill and leave, which took 20 minutes to arrive. Although this restaurant has potential, the staff seemed to not be bothered at all. As a returning customer, we weren’t exactly ecstatic with the service.

Excellent food and service was faultless. I hit tapas happy hour x3 dishes for £15 absolutely gorgeous! Lush wine too. Will recommend and return, what a little gem x

We ordered 6 dishes in total. The portion size was good however a lot of the food taste wasn’t quite there or a lot of the flavours didn’t work. They had some good happy hour and meal deals but we wouldn’t rush back

If you are looking for a fantastic selection of drinks and the highest quality food in Tenby at a reasonable price, this is your place. The management and staff are extremely courteous, welcoming and professional, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for your fantastic and accommodating service will 100% return. I can’t believe we have found this jewel, a true hidden gem.
