We were booked for 10.08.24 and have just received an email informing us that, unfortunately, they have just ceased trading and so have had to cancel our booking.
For years this had been one of our favourite cafes in Tenby. Good service, friendly cheerful staff, lovely food and a welcoming atmosphere. However, this has all changed. We visited in December and were directed to a table. 35 minutes later we decided to leave as we hadn’t been even offered a drink. Maybe a blip, We decided to return in February. Again we were only served after 25 minutes and a quarter of an hour later our food arrived delivered by a dour faced waitress. My order of cauliflower soup sounded really tasty but it was inedible. It was really bitter and little other flavour than watered cumin. We explained the problem to a member of staff who asked if I would like something else to eat. I declined. I would have given a one star rating but my wife enjoyed her meal and although there was no apology, they said they would not charge for mine or my wife’s meal. Needles to say, we will not be returning, which is a shame because this used to be a lovely little cafe.
Found this takeaway tucked away behind our hotel and, based on previous reviews, had high hopes. Staff were very nice with an efficient ticket system to allow for queues. Got our fish and chips and took them to eat on the prom - fish was just OK, nothing more with very greasy batter. The chips were some of the worst we have had, again very greasy and stuck together under the fish. Maybe we just picked a bad night but we expected better - at least the seagulls had a good feed!
This pizza is fantastic - had the pepperoni and it was really good. The dough was really nice and both light and crisp. Great for a lunch pizza and worth every penny. Seating not the best but other than that 🙏👏🏼🤟🏼🤌🏼👌🏼✌🏼🫶🏼

Okay coffee and hot chocolate not the best but the two toasted tea cakes were the poorest quality we have ever tasted. Thin with an odd currant and poorest quality "strawberry jam" - more like red coloured sugary jelly. Two pats of Welsh butter were fine. But this was a rip off at £17.50.
We had a wonderful evening meal chosen from a good selection of options. The service was attentive and friendly. It is quite a small pub so I would strongly recommend booking in advance.
Just to say we loved this place. Now called Manorbier House ( which is a bit confusing as there are signs at the beach directing to the 'Beach break' still. We drove round for a while trying to find it, until a friendly guy pointed it out! Theres a handy small car park next door.
There are lots of tables both inside and out and a small gift shop.
The coffee was good and the food arrived promptly and with friendly service. Our dog was welcomed too.
He had a mariners platter- very hearty and tasty and I had a falafel salad with olives and seeds etc. all very tasty. Definitely recommend

This was our second time visiting while on holiday in Anglesey. The food and plating was amazing but unfortunately the only thing that let it down slightly this time around, was the wait on food. The waitress did inform us that the kitchen was a little backed up upon seating us but it was about an hour wait until we received our first dishes.
Absolutely terrible.service shocking sent the main course back waited 20 mins for it to be returned.rice was cold then . papadums no taste.
Chicken tikka dish terrible.
We had the most fantastic extended family dinner at the Dining Room. The food was exceptional, the service delightful and the wine delicious. Si and his team bent over backwards to make it a truly special evening and we are super grateful. This restaurant is 100% the best on the Llyn and is one of our favourites anywhere.
