Ok food for a great price, I got a lot more than expected amount wise, but the other dish was somewhat meagre and didn't come with everything on the menu as they omitted a few things, but they did find a tiny bit of coleslaw and we felt bad about asking for the missing cheese so didn't bother. I think it was the chefs day off because my burger and bun appeared to be deep fried but it was tasty.

Little gem of a place with plenty of portions of good food

This is a delightful live events venue tucked under the streets of Cardigan. There's a full-time stage for events and comfortable seats. The walls are lined with vinyl and memorabilia and the staff are very friendly. It's a gem.

Dog friendly Café. We stopped for a bite to eat while walking browsing the town centre and sat on the benches/tables outside as the sun was shining. Very friendly lady took our order . Coffee was brought to table as was a sausage for the dog.(every dog visiting gets a free sausage apparently) I ordered a burger and chips . The food was acceptable but was obviously cheaper shop bought burgers etc but that was ok we did not expect the Ritz. Our impression was good and the staff were helpful and attentive. overall if you are not looking for a culinary masterpiece and just want a quick bite somewhere that your dog is welcome near to the river and castle then this could be it. Thanks to the friendly lady waiting the tables.

A true institution. Thoughtful, kind, determined employees. The food is quite spectacular. Love the record shop underneath. Big love people ❤.

A really friendly and warm welcome is assured to all. Here you find one of the most relaxed atmospheres and easy going venue around. With dynamic, entertaining and vibrant performers from all over the UK and globe, to the many local stars of this treasured area. To name but one of the regular nights they have in a month, the open Mic night. It makes a truly special and free night. Pop along to just chill with a drink and relax on the plentiful leather sofas. Make new friends and enjoy the music and even take part when you feel called to. So as Janice says, (who runs the Cellar Bar Fan Club group on Facebook) "arrive a stranger and leave as a friend".

Owners Steve and April are the best !! Constantly changing electric programme and open mike nights. You can't visit Cardigan without calling in.

If anyone one is looking for some great food at a reasonable price then you should try the Cellar Bar if you want to look for an evening out with live music see all the brochures and leaflets and posters throughout the cafe have a great day

I love this place for music, poetry, general fun and good people 😀 Bar, stage, dance floor and comfy seating. The peeps in the cafe above loaned their room so we could have a disabled access open mic. We saw music aplenty, poetry and an eye popping magic show. Awesome times with the cellar crew 😀 Nice: ticks all the right boxes 😀

Had a breakfast there. Very friendly staff if I was marking on staff I would give a five 5⃣ sadly we had a nightmare with the order. (it was a Sunday mind) will try again next time in the area

Unpretentious cafe serving generous portions.

Great little café. We just had some coffee (hooray for mugs!) but lots of people enjoying breakfast around us. The setting is "different" but in the best possible way. Dog friendly. Obviously popular with locals which is the best possible recommendation!
