What a great find. A lovely welcome greeted us. We chose to sit downstairs in the restaurant. We had a lovely view across the river. We had a Sunday Roast Pork and a Chestnut and Mushroom roast. Beautifully presented and cooked perfectly. The waitresses were attentive and polite. Would highly recommend.
To rate the food we had would be 5*, excellent chef, great food all the way
As to the front of house staff itās a youth club, messing about, stupidness, tall youth elbowing girls that would cause injury, drinking and singing at the bar, well over staffed, when we came 2 years ago there was just 2 mature ladies running the front and they worked their socks off, tonight no customer was looked after
Also donāt go in if your overweight , there was 2 staff taking the pee out of 2 men because they were large and ordered big meals, there seems to be a sign language between staff about customers, all very odd behaviour been now three years running, went to the sister pub the chemist yesterday and had great service, I always make a point of leaving a tip as I work in hospitality myself, and realise how hard the work can, itās great to see people happy in there work but thereās a line I feel shouldnāt be crossed, but unfortunately no tip was left so I feel sorry for the chefs and pot wash, the situation needs gripping by the management, over staffed by at least three.

We only went for drink before dinner. It was cloudy and breezy, we sat on the terrace in the begging because we got the dog with us, then we moved to the bar area on the ground floor, because it was cold and started raining a bit. It seems a nice pub, I think it is the only one in the village.
Really love the feeling people are having a pint by the waterfront outside of the pub.
Not sure about the food, we will try next time.
Park the car in the village car park, just 2 minutes walk away.
Fantastic meal on a Saturday evening. Brilliant service, friendly staff, who couldn't do enough, even though they were really busy!!
The pastry for the pie of the day was the best ever (obvious home-made) Home made faggots and the gravy was to die for.
Well done to have such a fantastic business, and run so well. Definitely will go again.
5th or 6th time stayed. Staff, food, location & room all excellent.
Easy visiting other places we like to go to, Newport, Newquay, Melyn Tre Gwynt, St David's, Solva, Whitesands, Cardigan....
Amazing food. Good choice and large portions.
Well presented and well cooked.
So nice to be able to take desserts home to finish off a lovely meal
Friendly and attentive staff
Would highly recommend
