Harbwr Brewery Tap & Kitchen in Pembrokeshire

First time going here today. Really lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was one of the best experiences we have had as a family. The portions were huge and very well presented. I had scampi and my husband had gammon. The garlic bread and onion ring sides were really good. The children's meals were really good as well. Homemade chicken nuggets and sausages. All with lovely chips. Would definitely come again. You deffo get what you pay for❤️

Terrible service from the older man at the bar we did not feel welcome like other places around the area . The sausage was under cooked the Nutella had funny bits on top and my scrambled egg was cold . We were too polite to complain as they were not approachable in there .

Great pub, fantastic beer, friendly staff and delicious food - a must!

Simply forgot about the order, made us wait for an hour. Served it in one hour, after multiple reminders. And even this way, served incomplete dishes. It's a particularly bad touristy place

Lovely soup of the day. Dogs welcome. Lovely place to sit especially outside.

Fantastic food, especially the Mac n cheese with buttery roasted vegetables. The mulled wine was delicious.

Can't get Caldey Lollipop on draft do spent 30 quid on a cask. It was cloudy lacked body and very disappointing.

The decoration of the place and the mullet wine are very nice. You have to order things at the bar and they bring them to your table.

Just a great welcoming place for young and not so young with great food, a great range of cracking beer. Dog friendly - absolutely and the staff and other customers totally get the lovely atmosphere. The staff are excellent making themselves available and friendly and just doing their job well. Love the Harbwr gin too! Definitely go again as Tenby is such a lovely town.

We didn't have food this time but I did look delicious can't fault the harbwr beer it's only brewed around the corner staff make you feel welcome plenty of choice for everyone

Lovely pub connected to the Harbwr Brewery. Cracking Fish & Chips, Buttered Veg, and top notch Real Ale brewed on the premesis, on tap and to take away. Happily accommodated our 2 year old and dogs were also welcome. Recommend. Would go again.

Exceeded expectation. Very good chicken burger, and my Sons burger was huge! The owner gave me a rundown on their ale selection , he explained their selection well, and the ale was decent. Was very busy, but the staff were friendly and polite, and didn't have to wait too long. Definitely recommend.

Ticked most of the boxes.. Booked in advance. Food was ok. Service was ok. Drank2 barrels dry. Staff great!

Good home cooked food with friendly, helpful staff.

Hard to knock this place. The beer is excellent, I worked left to right and wasn't disappointed with any of any of the brews. Food was surprisingly good, loved the monkfish Atmosphere is great, although it finishes quite early, not a late night establishment Even the music is good Will eat and drink here again

Hard to fault this brewery / taproom / restaurant / cafe! The staff were uniformly lovely while we were there, the beers, gin and food were excellent, and the place itself is huge, but with lots of different areas offering quite different vibes.

Great choice of gins, especially liked their own. Great variety of hand pulled beer, for my husband, again their own brewed beer. Had delicious meals there. Whilst a bit pricier than we usually pay back home ( in Yorkshire), it was top quality and worth the money. All the nights we went in the staff were always friendly and helpful.

I went there with my daughters, we all had a really tasty meal, lovely friendly staff, I highly recommend a visit...they have a lovely outside seating area a micro brewery on site, you can purchase from a lovely selection of there Beer's...enjoy!!

Had such a fantastic experience having a Sunday roast here yesterday; I had my two sleeping babies in a double pushchair. The staff escorted us to the back where there was more space for the pushchair and it was nice and warm (no draft from doors etc). I really appreciated how considerate they were of my family. The food came out really quickly and was one of the best Sunday roasts I've had; huge portion packed with flavour. So much so I ordered another child's portion to take home and feed my two toddlers when we got home. To them it may not have seemed much, but they were so thoughtful and I would go back there in a flash as a result, as a regular visitor to Tenby. Thank you to the lovely staff.

Amazing fresh fish and chips, very helpful and attentive staff and great service too. Lovely the local produce and beers made in the brewery downstairs. Easily the best place to eat and drink in Tenby. Highly recommend!

Waffles were very nice and the toilets were good, however the cooked breakfast was undercooked and the coffee tasted like dish water. Not what you expect for coffee at £3.50 per cup, and we ordered 3 between us.

During our lovely walk around Tenby, we decided to stop for a Sunday lunch roast at Harbwr Brewery Tap & Kitchen, and it was one of the best decisions we’ve made! They served us the most amazing Sunday roast I’ve tasted in a long time, cooked to perfection. If you’re looking for a fantastic place for a Sunday roast , look no further - this place won’t disappoint! The staff were incredible helpful and very polite, adding to the overall experience. Highly recommend!

We called here for a family meal. The food is excellent. Our grand daughter loved her meal. So we called again on the following night. Excellent meal again. And lovely friendly staff. This is what makes a trully family friendly pub. Highly recommend to all. Thanks for your wonderful service.

Went for the burger 🍔 omg was it dry bun was burnt not toasted 😫 it had 2 skinny meat burgers. They were apparently 100 grams each. It filled a gap. won't be returning. Few years back food was tasty at the same location not sure if its changed hands. The fish scones then were to die for

Great food and big portions. They have beer garden and tables in the street. Oct 2024. Still good food and friendly staff. The 4 of us had a table in the garden on this visit. A great selection of local beers.

Brilliant place to relax and chat to friends. We popped in on Saturday before the Ironman and there was loads of space, and good arrangement. Also fast service for food and drink

Stopped in for dinner last night whilst visiting tenby, outstanding food, very quick service and friendly staff. so good we visited again! I would recommend the ribs they are delicious. Kids meals also went down a treat!

For the first time in a long time I can say that I had a rare steak and it was rare. Not only that but perfectly seasoned and accompanied by some outstanding chips, salad and coleslaw. Starters (chicken tenders & squid rings) were amazing and the service was second to none. Perfect for that special occasion and will definitely be returning 😁👍

Dog friendly area and good value

We know the food is good but what sets it apart is the different areas in the pub and Seargents Lane. The staff are helpful and the prices aren't too bad.

Been in here many times but let down by a very rude member of staff. Others were very pleasant but they were eclipsed by just this one.

Nice setting. Staff helpful and personable. Food was so tasty. Only downside was unable to complete the rack of ribs meal, but offered to box up to take home. Very very nice

Massive pub with multiple bars and seating areas... Sounds horrible, but it's not... Each area is just the right size, with its own bar and staff. You'd never know you were in a complex rabbit Warren of a pub!! Super food, beers and service👌

Very pleasant relaxed vibe and excellent beer

On a busy day, they accommodated 13 of us. The food was lovely we would recommend the fish and chips as well as the lamb steaks . The service was excellent and quick.

Lovely location for this attractive bar and restaurant with several different rooms and a courtyard. We enjoyed our meal and tried several of their own cask ales. When we got a drink just before looking at the menu we had to pay for them immediately rather than adding them on to our meal bill a few minutes later which was odd.

The food here is amazing, the 'catch of the day' fish burger was wonderful. Great atmosphere and the winding pub layout adds to the charm of this place. Highly recommended.

Superb place to go. Really busy the day we went, staff barely had time to pause and yet were polite, focused and friendly. Food was excellent, good quality and served together and hot. Highly recommend and will be returning any time we're in Tenby.

Chilli is great, but also spicy!

Supper tasty food we can recommend the fish pie and the chicken and ribs combo. Great selection of own brewed beers and guest ales. Awesome place from the bustling alleyway and nooks and crannies filled with character and a lovely main bar and the many restaurant areas are well spaced out. 100% will come back again

HARBWR Brewery and Taproom is a craft beer lover's haven. There was an absolutely huge selection of golden ales, pale ales and IPAs. All of these were available for purchase from the bottle, but only about 8 were being served on draught. The ones that I tried, however, were superb. Nuanced flavours served perfectly with just the right amount of smoothness. The only food we tried was their chicken curry (I think this was one of their specials), and this was tasty and well-spiced (which is high praise coming from someone of Indian origin). It exceeded our expectations. Staff here were generally friendly. One gentleman was very helpful in aiding my drink selection for the evening, and my eventual purchase of bottles to take away. The seating area was sprawled out over two rooms and a central outdoor area. There were some neat curiosities dotted around, and HARBWR bottles completed the decoration. HARBWR had an excellent town-centre location, which was helpful when we felt the urge for a pre- or post-dinner pint. The prices were, I felt, higher than average compared to recent brewery tap room-style places I have been to recently - e.g. £2.50 for a half pint from the draught, and £4.00 per single bottle to take out (which reduces if bought as a multipack). However, I thought that all the drinks I sampled were of high quality, so was willing to pay. This place was a real gem as someone who is a fan of craft beer. The beers were superb, the vibe fun, and the location extremely easy to get to. Highly recommended to all craft beer fans!

Good food , the cod was delicios and large fish but the chips were a bit mean but had good service, well worth a visit.

It's always busy here, but you can see why. Excellent beers, great atmosphere and well located. I visit every time I'm in Tenby.

Good food but the fish and chips were not cooked properly, the batter was soggy and fish slightly under and bland. Scampi was nice, and the starters were good.

Dog friendly outside area. Great service, lovely food. Would highly recommend.

This is a very chill pub with a lush beer garden. All of the staff have been friendly, and the last time i went this Lady who was relatively new was so sweet and helpful when i couldn't decide between all of their own craft ales. Ive only had the fries here which were very good, but i've heard the rest of the food is very good too. Definitely a nice friendly environment. They also have outdoor heaters!!!

Gammon pineapple, egg and chips, amazing. Two large pieces of gammon with a mass of chips. Also had Squid as a side, can honestly say best I’ve ever had. Will definitely come back. Only advice, very busy and full by 6pm so get there early. Oh, and nice choice of real ales.

Very delicious food with a calm atmosphere. loved the booths that played sports on the tv’s thought it was a good touch. fair prices, i would definitely recommend.

Just stopped for coffee and dessert, but tried some starters too. Deep fried brie and fried chicken gougons. Coffee was great and finished with sticky toffee pudding and choc fudge. Wel lysh!

First time visiting this pub, looks small from the outside but there is loads of space to sit and enjoy a pint and food. I was most impressed with the choice available and that's for the food and drink...lots to choose from. The food was fantastic and well priced for a really great venue, had no issues when I visited during peek lunch time rush, the staff where very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again to try some more delicious food and drink 😋

Sat in the rooftop terrace area in a booth. Lovely sunny spot with the Olympic coverage on view. Great choice of beers, can get from the bar or the taproom. Friendly staff and over-friendly seagulls!

The food is REALLY disappointing, honestly, £50 for two burgers and a drink, I would honestly expect something a lot better. Do yourselves a favour and look else where!

Went for an early dinner with kids and the service was good, the staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly. The kids all ate their food, which is always a good sign. I really enjoyed the vegetarian burger, but the real star was the chips. I will definitely come back again for more of their amazing chips!!

My wife and I both went for breakfast, and we both got the harbwr breakfast.. was absolutely lovely, fresh tasty everything you would want in a breakfast. Obviously atmosphere was quiet as early morning but overall brilliant would return. Chef came out and spoke with us his name was Dai, lovely guy and could tell he takes pride in his job. Staff behind the bar attentive and pleasant.

We visited on Monday 24th, it was quiet when we arrived but quickly filled up. The seats were really comfy and we had a bench seat and chair in the window so we could see out on to the street for a good people watch while we had a drink and food. The fish and chips was amazing, the fish was so flavourful and the batter was so light. I have to admit the portion size did beat me but luckily my partner helped with the last bits of fish as we didn't want to waste anything. We ordered rustic bread and butter as a side which was a perfect accompaniment to the fish and chips.

Popped in for breakfast with our dog. Staff friendly and food good. Not too busy on a cool June morning. Been before and will go again. Consistently good service.

Drink yes, you could have saved yourself the food. I'm sure everyone gets a better salad with cheese and a burger. Carelessly done.

Food was good and the staff very pleasant

We spent £16 per meal for 2 of us. Husband had cajun chicken and I had scampi. Both of our meals were served with overcooked chips which were enedible, they were so hard it was like eating cardboard 😡 cajun chicken was a piece of chicken with just a few spices sprinkled over it and my scampi was also overcooked with stale tasting batter. Not a good food experience at all and certainly not worth the price. Shame really as the pub has a nice atmosphere with a good variety of real ales and drinks on offer.

We dropped in on the off chance we could get a table and we could. Really nice place, plenty of room with people not sat on top of each other. The food was amazing, all cooked and tasted nice and fresh. Given the area and quality the prices were reasonable too. One to visit if your in the area and I guess the reviews speak for themselves.

We spent nearly a week in Tenby and this was one of our favourite spots to visit, I couldn't quite believe how big this place is! You start by going through the main pub then it opens up into the beer garden and drops down to a further seating area and the beautiful brewery, bar and beer gardens in the little alleyway! Beer was lovely so I tried a few halves, staff there were very helpful too so if you're unsure they will sort you a sample. We also had food here one day too, also spot on. Don't miss this place!
