What a great fish & chip shop we have lived in kilgetty for the lady 2 half years & this lovely place was recommended by quite a few people . It is spotless inside , staff are really friendly & the food amazing will keep returning thank you x

Just had the best fish and chips ever more than I could eat so bought it home in a takeaway Carton staff were amazing allowed to eat in the restaurant even though they had just closed couldn’t fault them this is my second time at mr chips but it definitely won’t be our last visit we’ll worth the trip Since this review went live we’ve been another three times love this place

I am a local and fish & chips is only an occasional treat for my wife and I, but Mr Chips is always our first choice. Good quality, friendly staff, huge portions and if you like curry sauce, I highly recommend a pot of the Irish….. delicious.

Food is usually good but sometimes can be a little hit and miss at busy times.

family love the mini cod specials and the battered burgers, they had for Saturday tea, youngest has to have her pot of gravy whilst the others love the fruity curry. The large portions mean I can make one portion feed two of use as a rule so always order extras that reheat perfectly in the air fryer and I’ve even been know to freeze them for later use. Great value for money and the staff have always made my ALN child feel special with the little gestures of forks and serving hers in a flip tray. Great establishment that we as a family have used for years Thanks mr chips 👍

Avoid this place at all costs . Had a funny stomach as soon as I finished eating my chippy then being sick so I’ve had food poisoning!!!!!!!

First time to visit Mr Chips. Great place to eat. Warm welcome by the staff nothing too much trouble. Menu on table order at counter which works well. We ordered 2 Mini Cod & Chips. The Mini Cod was a good size freshly cooked to order with just a thin covering of batter which was wonderful. The chips were piping hot as was the fish. We had tea with our meal and the tea was not one of those horrible machine jobs but a good quality British tea. Staff came to check that the meal was satisfactory and asked if we wanted anything else. We both enjoyed our meal the best fish & chips we have had for ages. Will be back again at Mr Chips next time in Pembroke Dock. Thank You all at Mr Chips for a wonderful meal

Had my fish and chips during the lunch hour. Can't believe how affordable and delicious the place is. I had the Burger 🍔 and it just melts into my mouth! Will come back and try the other menu again 👍

The quality of the fish and chips are excellent. They are cooked when you order them. This means that you have to wait for them to be cooked . This usually means about 10 minutes after you have placed your order. However if there is a queue than the wait can be much longer.

First time to Mr Chips, was not disappointed.....Really yummy fish n chips. Cooked fresh. Will definitely be back.

The best fish and chips in town by far !! Usually a queue but consistently hot fresh and very tasty. Quality food, and they offer a mini fish and chips which is more than plenty for one person. 😋

Absolutely delicious Fish and Chips. The chips are more like French fries in shape but tasted so good. The fish was fresh and had just a thin coat of batter. 5 stars. Just a little disappointed as we asked to use the toilet and were told we couldn’t use it as it was near closing time. It would have been nice to look after a customer in need. Nice place. But like most chip shops they don't serve much at all in the way of gluten free and vegetarian. So can't comment other than nice chips.

In my opinion, the best chippy in Pembs! The chips are absolutely delicious, large portions and always piping hot. The irish curry sauce is to die for (i believe they offer a mild one too). Quick service, staff are very friendly and hard working. Would highly recommend!

Food cooked to perfection, I only had small portions, and I couldn't eat it all!! Service was prompt and efficient, lovely atmosphere and since the refurbishment, a very nice place to be. It was good before... Even better now!!

Best fish ive ever had, thin crispsy batter and moist flakey cod. Chips were perfectly cooked too. Portion was a good size.

Worst burger I've ever had. It was completely dried out and solid, my partner saw them taking it out of the microwave which is not how you'd normally cook a burger, with good reason, it was revolting and had we been staying in Pembroke Dock I would have gone back and complained. Other elements of the order were ok but not great. Will not be back.

Mr chips is one of the best fish and chip shops in Pembrokeshire food is so fresh services first class and they also have a new restaurant that has just opened. I had a takeaway chips and gravy fishcake bread roll and all that for £6. Well worth a visit.

I come here every time I come to Pembs from Norwich England, WELL WORTH IT, GORGEOUS FOOD EXTREMELY FRESH, FANTASTIC STAFF, KATHY & CLAIRE GO ABOVE & BEYOND ALWAYS SOO HAPPY & Have a good chat , welcome and catch up 😀. I went to mr chips this evening to get a meal to take away food was delicious hot as always and staff very pleasant mr chips is the best chip shop in pembroke dock.

My girlfriend and I had just arrived in Pembroke Dock after driving from London and stopping at the Wash n Clean to get some laundry done and decided to stop into Mr Chips to satisfy our appetite after the lengthy drive and waiting for our laundry to dry. The staff was excellent and were very kind. We both got the mini-Cod meal, which was a 4oz piece of Cod with chips with added salt and/or vinegar, and service was very fast. The outstanding cod practically fell apart in my mouth as I bit into it, and the fries were hot and crisp. They said the mini-cod was 4oz but it seemed rather larger which was fantastic and we were full after finishing our boxes. It was about 12 pounds total for me and my girlfriend, so very inexpensive as well. I wish I had a place like this in my hometown!

Best chip shop around Pembroke. We have had 4-5 Fish and Chips and everyone has been delicious. Will drive to Pembroke Dock every time we want Fish and Chips.

Just bought chips, plain sausage and curry sauce from Mr chips had 5 long strands of hair mixed in the chips unedible today. I will go back next week because they are normaly very good. Waste of money this week.

Come to Pembroke because my in-laws live there. Hands down the best chippy in Pembroke. Food was really good, nice and hot. The prices are about right, not cheap but not expensive. Will be going again when i visit again. 🤟

Had takeaway fish n chips from here last night 17th May 2022 2 cod, 2 small chips, small curry sauce & can of coke cost £20 35 .......can't afford fish n chips anymore.

Pandemic, so only takeaway, but I asked for well-salted food, unfortunately it did not arrive, napkins are not included and the fish is also very average. I don't recommend it.
