Might seem a little local at first, but that's kinda what it is. Take a breath and then everyone was lovely on the night I was in. The landlady is great, a source of things to do locally or just a good chit chat about the world. A terribly nice, cosy local pub with historic interest. If ur visiting and after old school, pop through that door for a chat and a welcome

Lovely pub! Popped in as had an hour to waste waiting for the ferry and would have liked to spend all evening in the lovely little old pub! The owners are lovely. Beer is great. Pet friendly and they didn’t mind us taking our kids in either! They don’t do food at the moment (summer 2024) so bear that in mind. Lovely lovely!

The Globe and Cegin Morris is a quaint, traditional little pub. It's super cosy, especially with the fire lit in Winter and perfect for whatever tipple you fancy. The old style jukebox adds to the vintage authenticity of it and the locals are welcoming and friendly. I've eaten here twice, seafood pizza is out of this world and the Sunday lunch was one of the tastiest I've had (and I've sampled a good few Sunday dinners!) There's also a small, pretty garden for Summer evenings. Will always return whenever I visit Pembrokeshire.

I love this pub. Having visited and lived on and off in Fishguard for few years now this is definitely one of the main reasons I enjoy the town. Brian and Jean, the landlady and lord, are just ace, they look after their locals and pre covid did great food. There's always a brilliant atmosphere both inside and out in the beer garden with customers of all ages and the juke box plays superb music. Their recent stand against the local MP's who voted against free school meals for children has made me even more keen to support them. They are caring, sound people with strong principles who watch out for their community. A proper local.

It's great to go into a pub where safety is paramount. Well served local ales, friendly and welcoming environment. Very sad to see Jonny R review - he's not been to the pub or he would know key facts about the current set up, the kitchen is closed at the moment so he could not have been offered food. As it happens I was in the pub when that Simon sort was there, he was refusing to respect social distancing and got very annoyed when politely asked to do so. Sensibly staff then refused to serve him which made him even more rude and he ended up making everyone very happy by walking out. No, the Globe is a great place and when there is food it's good, pizza nights are a must for us as a family.

Always enjoy a friendly welcome in the Globe. We are really missing visiting as part of the cawl crawl this half term due to lockdown. Strange negative reviews are appearing when the pub is shut as part of lock down and when the owners have been put in the spotlight for campaigning against child hunger. I always enjoy visiting this pub and would not be put off by the questionable reviews.

It's important to note that some of the poor reviews here are politically motivated and have been given by people who haven't visited the the lovely pub. Everytime we have visited we have been warmly welcomed and have enjoyed ourselves, the food is hone made and prepared with enthusiasm, the pizza nights are lovely and the owners are kind and warm hearted. A proper, old school, family run pub rather than a soulless chain. Love it.

Having been a regular visitor to the Globe and sampled the food there, I can honestly say that they serve best quality, home made, value for money meals, especially the Seafood Pizzas and the Sunday lunches! Sorry about the title but it appears that some very sad individuals are out to write bad reviews of this establishment because she's banned our two spineless local MPs. If and when you visit this pub, you'll find the staff warm and friendly, and when they did meals, they were outstanding! They'll be back soon hopefully. Also, you'll find the locals friendly and we don't bite. And the juke box has nothing beyond 1990s, ideal for us oldies! Give it a visit, you'll be surprised!

Reply to the owner: If you were not serving why did you allow customer to your restaurant then? And when two stranger came in to your restaurant why didn't you welcome them and simply tell them you are not serving? Why did you let us sit in the middle of the restaurant and waited for 10 minutes while a big group of people were eating on the biggest table behind us? And why there were menus on the table?

They did not disappoint! We had mash potato, mash swede, cabbage, peas, carrots, cauliflower cheese, roast potato, homemade Yorkshire pud - I had beef & my husband had lamb & plenty of gravy on the side. Proper home cooked food. Definitely didn’t need a desert too but it was rude not to share a homemade chocolate brownie, that melted in the mouth! Couldn’t fault a thing! Nothing special inside...it is a small pub more for locals. Sunday lunch was lovely. Choice of Chicken or Beef with a roast potato, mashed potato, carrots, peas, cabbage, cauliflower cheese with sauce which was a bit runny. A boat of gravy which was also a little runny, could have been a little thicker. All veg was bought out first before the plates. All was home cooked and had flavour.

My brother and husband came in here early on a Saturday evening looking for somewhere to have a quiet pint or two. Apparently the beer was good but their visit was completely spoiled by three children whose parents seemed to be friends or relatives of the owners. The children ran in and out of the private areas and all over the pub, treating the furniture as climbing frames and literally screaming and shouting which, in such a small space, was hugely intrusive. My brother and husband made eye contact with the adults, who were clearly aware the children's behaviour was spoiling their evening, but made no attempt to check them at all. Consequently, they drank up and left, going elsewhere for their second and third pints.

Had a takeaway and asked for the fish NOT to put on top of the chips. They said, no worries we will put paper in between. Got home and no paper between so very soggy and also green chips. Most of these were discarded. If these green chips were served in the restaurant they would definitely be sent back, so come on, please serve the same standard for takeaways as the restaurant. We recently visited bluestone in wales for a holiday and noticed this little gem of a pub when driving back from Tenby. We looked at the online menu and there was lots of choice. We booked up and headed down one evening and the whole experience was amazing. Not only did they have the already great menu but also lots of specials to choose from. We had 2 vegetarians with us and they had an extensive choice of dishes to choose from. The food we ordered was amazing - the bruschetta with caramalised onion was a game changer and I really enjoyed this dish. Portion sizes were huge and all food and drink reasonably priced. The ladies that served us were really accommodating and made sure we were ok and enjoying ourselves throughout the visit. I just wish I could pick this pub up and put it nearer to home as there were so many food options I would love to visit again, and next time we are in this neck of the woods we will. It is a 10 minute drive from Bluestone so if you are there I would really recommend a visit here. It was quite busy so would be advisable to book. Thanks for a lovely dining experience.

We had a fantastic lunch at The Farmers Arms in Mathry with the whole family—kids, grandparents, and even the dog! This family-run pub made us feel instantly at home with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was superb; between us, we had the fish pie (the best we’ve ever had!), a chicken burger, curry, and beef burgers. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the value was excellent. The locals were lovely, and it was great to have a friendly chat with them. Being dog-friendly was a huge plus for us as well. This place is an absolute gem, tucked not far from St. David’s, and we can’t recommend it enough. Looking forward to our next visit!

We escaped a downpour here, we weren't planning on lunch, but ordered a sausage sandwich to share and it was great. The place was packed and very busy, but we'll run. The buildings are interesting, a maze of properties joined together, with the brewery downstairs. There's also a shop and coffee shop part of Harbwr. There are many places to eat and drink in Tenby and this one should not be missed
