Very good local food and traditional pub.

While it took some time the food was simply amazing, every part of the chicken burger was delicious, plenty of parking

Would visit again for the food which was cooked impeccably, but atmosphere wasn't the best, not even a smile from one of the gentleman behind the bar who we spoke to, which made us sad ☹️. Other staff most amiable though.

Had dinner at the Paddock during the Euros, my Wife, Son and myself. We all had the Steak which was cooked to perfection. The pub was extremely busy due to the England Football match but the service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Limited Sunday brunch choices (beef, chicken & vegetarian) but all three were delicious, the sides were very generous and very reasonably priced. Nice and friendly staff. Nice and useful display of tourist attraction brochures right behind the entrance door. I'm not a dog person so the policy of allowing them inside the pub is not a welcome one especially when their owners don't do anything while their "babies" are barking or howling.

Called in for Sunday lunch, the lady serving was great but rushed off her feet. The dinner was tasty, but not enough of it. One didn't like some veg and asked for more of something else instead. Unable to accommodate this. One terrine between four. Homemade Yorkshire pudding was lovely, and the beef fell apart.

Visited tonight. Bit of a wait on the food. But boy was it worth it. Beautiful rump steak with all the trimmings. My son had curry + half rice half chips n naan breads. Lady behind the bar was here there n everywhere bless her. Brings back happy memories from 10 or so years ago. When we used to vist when on our hollybobs. Ty for a lovley meal and great staff. Would definitely recommend. 😀😀🙂🙂🙂

Always enjoy visiting Paddock Inn during my stays in Kingfisher Cottage, a holiday home in Penally. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's a dog friendly pub, which is great, the decor is nice, as it gives it more of an cosy atmosphere, with several sofas and an open fire in the winter. The pub has a lovely selection of beers, lager, etc and on its food menu there is enough choice for even the picky eaters to choose from. The Chicken Doro Wota is lovely. There is also a bakery attached to the pub, they do great breakfasts, fresh bread, cakes and a very tasty ham and cheese toasted sandwich. There is also a fresh milk machine outside the bakery so you can refill your milk bottle. It's a lovely place to sit outside and have a drink with sun beaming down "well when we get the sun". 😂, otherwise sit indoors and feel relaxed, chilled and cosy.

Very nice service, good food in nice atmosphere

We visited on a busy wednesday evening during the holiday season, although the wait on food was long we still had a brilliant time! Our server, Pauline, was rushed off her feet while serving the bar, running food and clearing tables all by herself. However, she remained professional with a smile on her face the entire time, even when the table next to us became slightly hostile towards her. She informed the table that there was only one chef cooking the food that evening that is why it was taking some time! Once our food came, it was delicious and we were surprised after hearing there was only one chef, that all 3 gammons and 2 chicken bacon burger were cooked the perfection. Both Pauline and the chef (apologies we never caught your name) should be proud of yourselves and we will definitely be recommending this place to any of our family and friends visiting tenby.

Lovely welcoming pub with friendly staff and locals. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Dog friendly and motorhome friendly although the car park is not big, but it is flat. No facilities other than in the pub. Would definately come again. Thankyou The Paddock Inn for a lovely stopover.

The staff member was fantastic. She was clearly rushed off her feet and could have done with more support, as she was running the bar and serving food through the evening. But always a smile on her face. Great asset to the pub. Sadly my curry half and half was overlooked and after an hour I had to prompt for it. When it arrived it wasn’t presented well, looked a bit rushed but tasted nice (chips seemed to have been reheated though). Shame as all the food passing me looked great! I wanted to have given full stars as this is a lovely cosy place to visit, and is very welcoming.

Well I’ve spent most of this afternoon reading the reviews & I was very intrigued to meet the owner as I’ve found his replies very amusing & no doubt called for..!! Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet him I’d like to shake his hand..!!!! Why are people so rude 🤷‍♀️ If I have an issue I’ve always dealt with it there & then & usually if I’ve had to complain it’s done in a respectful manner & 99% of the time it’s rectified.. it’s not hard..!!! Anyway I have to say my experience this afternoon has been very pleasant indeed myself, my husband & our friends, we also have a dog each, came for tea tonight.. The food & the service was excellent..!! Bravo.. 👏 👏👏 There was only one girl behind the bar, taking food & drink orders, serving our drinks & food along with the rest of the customers & she was brilliant fair play to her..!!! Not only that but this young lady also works in the shop in Kiln Park where we are staying & she recognised me..!!! She’s certainly a grafter & still she managed that pub, drinks, meals ect.. Single handedly & managed it very well indeed..!!!! We were very impressed & will definitely be back again..!!! We were very comfortable, well fed & enjoyed the lauded back friendly atmosphere..!!!! Well done 👍

Mixed reviews unfortunately, good place for a drink and dog friendly which is great. Had Steak and Chips one night which was very nice, however the same can’t be said for the curry night in our opinion. Each to there own, but we were very disappointed in both the quantity and quality, I’d rather pay a bit more to include Naan etc, but the worst part was the taste, boiled rice and a bland sauce, not for us but I’m sure others will be happy.

Well a fantastic stop over and well worth the value. We went on Thursday evening which was curry night with a free pint! If you like curry this is one to try as they actually know how to cook one! (Ethiopian Curry) wow! Great pun and warm welcome! Great range of drinks! Great menu! An on site bakery with delicious produce. Wait that’s not all they also do a fantastic Breakfast which is handy tasty and a belly full! With freshly toasted home made bread! If your passing pop in! If you want to stay over book first and give it a whirl! We will definitely be back! 👌

Great place to eat, poor girl on the bar, serving the bar and watering due to staff shortage. The fish was to die for, service excellent, dog friendly and quite busy. Will return again next season.

The website claimed it was open when we arrived at 2 p.m. closed so we went to the cafe in next door for a coffee which was nice

Motorhome parking free if using the pub or bakery both are very good. Breakfast is available in the bakery. 40 minutes walk to Tenby centre.

Lovely laid back pub, parked our motorhome in the quite big car park, there was plenty of room, it was on a Tuesday, but the pub was pretty busy and our dogs were allowed to sit on the sofas with us! Lovely food and drinks and really quick service. Defo recommend. Staying overnight so will see what breakfast is like in the morning as they also do that!! Very impressed.

There was a group of us staying in the local area for the IronMan and we made this, our go to place for food. Over the weekend, we sampled the breakfast, dinner, lunch and baked goods. We could not fault the quality of food, it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Service was great inside the Inn, the locals were happy to have a chat and the establishment was dog friendly, which suited our trio very well. My only qualm would have been with the breakfast service. We ordered our breakfast and drinks, then took a seat outside. After about 45 minutes, I went to ask if the drinks were on their way, or if they were being brought out with the breakfast. The lady behind the counter was clearly stressed and was a little short with me. I understand when you're on your own and juggling a number of jobs, it can be stressful. However, it wasn't the customer's fault and a bit of organisation and time management wouldn't have gone amiss. All in all, a lovely place to go and if I was ever in the area again, it is a place I would return to.

Good food and a friendly team of staff but the pub is pretty tatty. Loads of dead and missing light bulbs, broken toilet seat, frayed and faded carpets. Not nice surroundings to enjoy a meal and no ale on tap.

Friendly and nice local pub with some surprise inclusions on the menu from the Ethiopian chef. Doro Wat is a personal favourite, so I took full advantage.

Lovely pub good service I had the 16oz rump steaks it was very tuff that I only managed to eat half of it as it was that tuff waitress ask us how the food was we told her that the 3 steaks were really tuff and that was that 🙈

Lovely little pub near the haven holiday site. Dog friendly which is why we went here. Had a family meal which was great that they accommodated us, however food was disappointing on 7/10 of the meals. Onion rings and mushrooms were missing on meals that were set to have them. My feedback would be, print more menus so you have enough and consider better vegetarian/vegan choices - serving a burger naked with chips as a vegan option isn’t overly appetising, maybe some vegan buns, add a sauce so it’s not just a dry burger with a slice of lettuce and tomato and serve with a side salad?

Had the most gorgeous Sunday dinner. Friendly staff that really look after you and a quiet location. Would highly recommend.

(Table of 4) First 2 order's arrived over a full hour before the second two plates arrived at the table. Bare in mind there was a 2 minutes difference in ordering time and nobody else at the bar!!! When the food arrived there was no apology for the wait, nothing!. Apart from that good parking and good a beer garden. Food was as you would expect from a pub just really disappointed by the wait.

Arrived for dinner at 5.30 without reservation. Was told they were full, however, the bar man very politely offered a table upstairs, by ourselves. We had steaks, served within 20mins of ordering, which were tasty and succulent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food price was reasonable.

Popped in while we were staying in Tenby was a bit empty on the first occasion and we popped in on the Thursday also was a few more people in .. nice little pub we did not eat as we had already eaten so we will sample on our next visit.. We did visit the bakery before we headed home for some fresh bread ..

Fantastic friendly service, excellent food reasonably priced ( currently £12.50 for adult sunday dinner and £6.50 for child) the staff can't be more welcoming or do enough to make your visit a really great one. My wife who is dissabled and i have never been dissapointed with the excellent food or service . Absolutely brilliant.

Had a lovely family meal here. A traditional country pub with very friendly staff, young lad behind the bar looked after us and was a credit to the paddock Inn. Food was really nice and couldn't have faulted it in any way. Had a wood burner on and was lovely and warm with very welcoming atmosphere. Bit of a drive to revisit from Bristol but when we are back will be heading there. Thank you

Good food, Ethiopian curries on the menu, I had the mild one which was very tasty and my wife a good old fashioned steak that was cooked properly…rare…and dog friendly too with biscuits

Absolutely delicious Chicken burger 🍔. Husband had a large Gammon which was also delicious. Large selection of beers and lagers. A lovely evening.

Food was value for money and very generous in size and a good choice of drinks. Staff were Friendly and the pub was welcoming to dogs. Would definitely go again.

Food was just ok. Came out in drips and drabs. Still had to ask for more veg. Not enough to go round. No stuffing or Yorkshire puds. Booked it up for my son's birthday so we made the most of it. Disappointing.

Ok is all I can say good was ok I didn’t really like it but just my opinion.

Bit disappointed, no cask ale of any variety, no starter options. Main course was nicely cooked. Advertised dessert not available. Menu was quite limited in range.

A nice looking pub inside, a bit of TLC required outside, but my experience was not a good one . Firstly very amateurish bar staff... very slow to take your order, then the card machine went down ,but never told any customers until after we ordered drinks then wanted cash . Eventually we got our drink because card machine worked again ( yes it wasn't their fault, but informed would have helped ) So we order food at 19:46. ... @ 20:30 we asked , why the delay to which we were told of three orders still in front of ours. My mother 76 years of age asked if food would be much longer,to which a staff member said , and I quote.....Have your money back. In a very arrogant manner This is a genuine review of our evening which was spoilt by a pub who tried to blame the whole situation on the bank holiday. Well that's a joke , the pub was not to busy ,hence us stopping there for food and drink in the first place. But if they had a professional attitude ,then they would have delt with three people who wanted a nice enjoyable evening. Some people care...this lot just want your cash ( if the card reader works) The worst pub I have ever been to , PS, the singer wasn't bad ,but don't sing a little respect...he couldn't hit the high notes. Well thank you for the utter lie that we were abusive to your staff , asking about how long it would take means that we knew nothing about how short staffed your were. Your unprofessional attitude will not help you , a customer expects a service , and we need information on how long the wait is , you told us 20mins max after waiting 45mins plus. The pub at bank holiday needs staff ,so if you cannot work out staff ratio's ..then this shows how unprofessional you are. Even when waiting for drinks you thought it better to talk amongst yourselves than serve your customers. And that came from other people as well as myself. But your attitude should be to be helpful and to learn from your mistakes ...not print lies . I stand by everything I said earlier. This is the worst pub I've ever been to.

Wouldn't recommend this place for food. Had the burgers and both wife and i got food poisoning. Only place in last 48hrs where we both had same meal. Bar needs deep clean can smell stale beer in carpet. Shame really as staff friendly

Pub stop over at the Paddock Inn Tenby in are campervan. very nice staff,dog friendly ,food was very nice.

Had a evening meal here and sat in the upstairs dining area. The service was very welcoming and attentive we had two of the specail meals mushroom stroganoff and pulled beef both were very tasty.

Lovely vegan options and big portion sizes! They wouldn’t serve us food one night because we didn’t book in advance which I found peculiar, so make sure you call ahead to book.

Great location. Surprisingly large amount of vegetarian options, but the food was disappointing. Not bad, just not very interesting. Perhaps our choices were not what they make best. The beer was good though, and we still had a good time.
