The best restaurants in Mill Monmouthshire South Wales

Interestingly it's possible this Subway might not be here for long, which is a shame because it's rather good. Great service from (I think her name was Jade?), who made an excellent BMT and provided good portions of the contents, which these days is rare at Subway. My order was made efficiently and correctly, and there was plenty of room to eat in. Please keep this Subway open, it's a good en.

Fantastic coffee shop , went recently with my daughter , nothing to much trouble , the ladies serving absolutely lovely . They both made me and my daughter feel at home . They even turned the music off so my daughter could sing. Coffee was superb , gem of a find.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday. Explained I was a coeliac and the chef came out to talk through the menu. He offered to make me anything I wanted. I opted for the fish and chips which were spectacular. The chef also brought out a gluten free flatbread and a chocolate brownie for me to try! absolutely amazing! he even gave me the flatbread dough to take home! definitely recommend

We stopped in at Mango House by chance on our way from Bristol to Wales. What a find! The staff were incredibly welcoming and the restaurant has a great atmosphere and comfortable seating. The food was INCREDIBLE. Every bit of it was delicious with generous portions, and a fantastic variety of options for vegetarians. The best Indian I've had in a long, long time. Highly recommend!

Rubbish of late. Staff smoking in the doorway. Food is dreadful and flavourless. Slow service too. Why bother? Pay some more and go to the local in Magor or order from Caldicot and have something nice. This will be shut soon unless there is change, living off the previous name and owner.

Handy dog walking area. Lots of choice inside offering varied foods. One of the nicer services we've stopped at.

Update to last review. Chicken and grains salad was heavily mustard flavoured (which I dislike), the chicken was reheated and dry. The salad greens and grains were fine. The flat white coffee was delicious, but at £12.69 for both is very expensive. See last photo. The first time I’ve eaten at the Leon fast food chain. My rice box was undoubtedly very good for me - plenty of greens, a few soybeans, a little bit of chicken and beetroot, but not much flavour. The lattice chips were only lukewarm - again, lacking in flavour. The alioli mayo, which I hoped would pep everything up was disappointing… Could hardly taste the garlic. The coleslaw was completely inedible… Strongly tasted of mustard, and nothing else! Desperately need to change this recipe! The box for a child was fine but hugely expensive at £5. However, the coffee – a flat white – was the best I’ve ever tasted. Will definitely go back again for the coffee.😋
