Best cappuccino I’ve ever had, and good food too. Lovely friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, and great to see local artists’ work on the walls. My regular go-to cafe as they’re dog-friendly too.

Visited latte art today for a coffee, I wanted a white chocolate mocha which was not on the menu, the staff accommodated my order and went out of there way to make me something that was off the menu. Very welcoming and friendly too. I’ve been there for lunch in the past and the food is absolutely outstanding, I will be returning and will 100% be recommending latte art to friends at family :)

The best coffee in the area. Pam and her lovely ladies are so kind and accommodating. Myself and a few friends come in with our babies every week and they can’t do enough to make us feel welcome and accommodating. They even arrange the tables for us so that we can fit our prams in comfortably. The coffee is amazing, as is the food. Definitely the best coffee shop in the area and perfect for mother and baby meet ups! The coffee shop is so homely and welcoming and the perfect place to get your coffee fix. Thank you girls for giving us mums a wonderful place to meet up.

Popped in whilst travelling through one morning and had a coffee, welshcake and a sausage and bacon baguette. The staff were really lovely and friendly, the coffee and Welshcake were spot on. I wasn’t a fan of the baguette though unfortunately. The bacon in particular was unpleasant. Despite that, the prices were reasonable, it was easy to park outside and I’d definitely pop back in for the coffee and welshcake in the future.

Popped in when driving through on a trip with friends. The food on display looked good but unfortunately what we received was very small portions at an over the top price. Service was slow and tables were dirty. Shame as I like to try and support independent but not just for the sake of it.

Dropped in for coffee when walking by. Seating inside and outside (but can be a bit noisy alongside the main road) if you want to, but on such a bright day we had takout. Friendly staff and very nice coffee (possibly the best in Magor/Undy). Found myself buying lemon drizzle cake too (great choice, moist and tangy lemon). Lots of other fab cakes for next time. Worth detouring a walk to visit them!

Beautiful location and beer garden is beautiful next to the river, however the barmaid was very snappy with my boyfriend and it seemed very clicky. A shame as it would be beautiful in the summer months

Another enjoyable visit to the Holland Arms. Usual friendly welcome and great service. We shared a duck starter from the specials board, amazing, especially the sauce. We then had lamb and steak as our mains. Both meats were delicious as were the accompanying vegetables. Good choice of wine (I enjoyed the Malbec). Couldn’t resist a bread and butter pudding for dessert - even though full. Look forward to our next visit - probably one of the Christmas meals now being advertised. Very reasonable bill.

An amazing hotel with wonderful staff. We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. A beautiful period property, great bar, food and rooms. But it’s the guys that work here that take it to another level. They are friendly, polite and can’t do enough to help. Especially for my wife that is disabled. Above and beyond doesn’t even come close. They made us so welcome and their kindness turned a lovely weekend to celebrate Aunty Shirley’s 80th (or 70th depending if you asked Shirley) into an exceptional one. Abergavenny is a cracking town and made even more special by having such an amazing hotel, bar and restaurant in it. Sacha has created something very special and her team do her proud. A few of the guys we got the names of are below, and if your name isn’t here, we are sorry - you are all great people. The chefs, the cleaning team - everyone that we met in person and behind the scenes. Keep doing what you are doing, it makes such a positive difference to people. Kindness and great service should be celebrated. We hope to see you in the summer. Thank you, Dave & Angie. Thanks to Sacha, Amelia, Bea, Freddie, Maria, Jed, Michelle, and Harry (despite being a Baggies fan).
