Visited whilst staying in the area having visited last year. A great selection of unique cakes! Nice seating area inside and out, plus dog friendly.

Bit pricey but always great service at The Angel.

Very disappointed Order Tom yum soup with prawns asked to make it mild turned up with loads of Birds Eye chilli’s and full of tough ginger root Prawns however were delicious Then Prawn toast no prawns and looked like the crusts at end of bread Main course arrived like warm at best My partner had the honey duck which she said was delicious apart from the Veg which was frozen the defrosted and served up Second time I have visited thought I would give them another try after the last dreadful experience but not much changed Other tables also sending back food that was Luke warm obviously warmed In microwave but not stirred as base hot the rest like warm

Went for food and the quiz night with a wonderful cheery host and lush food. Would recommend for groups and couples very homey atmosphere and friendly vibe. Will definitely be coming again

Meat was hard not cooked properly, sauce was like paste out of a jar, at almost £20 per portion will never go here again

My wife and I had a wonderful Sunday lunch here. Tasty food and plenty of it, the beef was served rare as asked, and it just fell apart. My wife had the pork, which was as tasty and plentiful. 2 bottles of wine and 4 hours later ha what a wonderfully lazy Sunday afternoon.

Fabulous meal at The Grofield this evening. The Steak & Ale Pie was amazing. The steak was really tender and the sweet potato chips were the best. Then had the Apple & Cherry Crumble, which was devine. What a crumble…absolutely perfect (and I’ve baked a few crumbles!) Compliments to the Chef. Slowly working our way through the menu 😊

Very busy and aisles are narrow. Some nice food, mainly fruit, vegetables and cakes 😋.

We went here to end a trip away to the Brecon Beacons. It was a fabulous way to finish! The food was absolutely delicious. A real treat. Would recommend for a special occasion. The staff were extremely attentive.
